BEFORE PLAYBACK

Preparation
1 Switch on the television and select the preset channel for the
digital player.
2 If an audio system or an AV receiver is connected to the DVD
player, switch it on and select the audio input for the DVD
player.
3 Switch on the DVD player by pressing »

« on the remote
control.
– The indicator on the DVD player is light blue.
– Display on the screen: »No disc«.
Inserting disc
1 Insert the disc into the disc compartment with the label facing
forwards (on the right of the device), until it latches in auto-
matically.
– Display »Loading«, the disc is being scanned.
Notes:
Playback of a DVD, VCD, S-VCD or audio CD (CD-DA) starts
automatically.
The file browser appears if an MP4 video CD, MP3 or JPEG
CD is inserted.
If the » « symbol appears on the television screen, the se-
lected function is not possible with this disc.
Removing disc
1 Press ».« on the DVD player or press and hold down»7« on
the remote control.
– Display: »No disc«, remove the disc.
