Automatic station search
1 Press »

STANDBY« to switch on the device.
2 Select the RADIO input source with »RADIO/TAPE/CD« on the device
or »SOURCE« on the remote control.
– Display: station position, waveband and frequency.
3 Select the desired waveband (FM, MW or LW) with »BAND«.
– Display: »FM«, »MW« or »LW«.
4 Activate the station search by pressing »TUNING

until the frequency display changes to rapid run-through.
– The search stops when a programme is found.
Manual station search
1 To move the frequency forward in steps, briefly press »TUNING Ń

on the device several times.
– The frequency changes in 50 kHz steps (FM), 9 kHz steps (MW) or
1 kHz steps (LW).
Saving stations on station positions
1 Select the desired waveband (FM, MW or LW) with »BAND«.
2 Use »TUNING Ń

« to select the station you want to store.
3 Briefly press »PROG/RANDOM/TIME« to activate the storage
function.
– Display: the next free station position, e.g. »02«, and »CH« flashes
for approx. 10 seconds.
4 Use »R-SKIP
8« or »F-SKIP 9« to select the desired station position.
5 Press »PROG/RANDOM/TIME« again to store the station.
– Display: »CH« and, for example, »23«.
6 To store more stations, repeat steps 2 to 5.
Deleting individual stations
1 Use »R-SKIP 8« or »F-SKIP 9« to select the station position you
want to delete.
Note:
All station positions apart from 01 can be deleted. Station position 01
can only be overwritten.
2 To delete the selected station position, press »STOP

« until »CH« and,
for example, »03« disappear from the display.
Note:
If you have not installed back-up batteries and you disconnect the
device from the mains for a longer period of time, all the stored stations
are deleted immediately.
