Antennas
1 For FM (VHF) stations extend the telescopic antenna and tilt and turn it
to achieve the best reception.
Note:
If the FM signal is too strong, it is advisable to push in the telescopic
antenna.
In case of poor reception:
If your FM stereo reception is impaired by interference due to insufficient
signal strength, this can sometimes be rectified by setting the
»FM MONO STEREO« switch (on the back of the device) to mono
reception. The FM stereo display goes out and the FM station is played
in Mono.
2 The Radio Recorder has a built-in rod antenna for MW/LW reception.
Turn the radio recorder about its own axis to point the antenna.
Radio reception
1 Switch on the Radio Recorder and set the »RADIO•TAPE/OFF•CD«
switch to »RADIO«.
– The »ON

« indicator lights up.
2 Select the frequency band (FM, MW or LW) using the waveband selec-
tion switch (on the right side of the device).
3 Use the » TUNING« knob to tune to radio stations.
– If you are tuned to an FM stereo station, the »STEREO« indicator
lights up.
4 Switch off the Radio Recorder by setting the switch to the »TAPE/OFF«
position.
– The »ON

« indicator goes out.
