Switching the satellite receiver on and off
1 Use the »

« button on the front panel of the satellite receiver or
on the
remote control to switch the satellite receiver on or in standby.
ON: in the display appear at first 4 horizontal lines »

and then the number of the selected channel position.
OFF/Standby: in the display the red indicator is lit.
Note
After switching on the satellite receiver, the on-screen message »Welcome –
Please wait.« appears briefly, then a second message appears informing you
about the transmission data of the currently selected TV or radio channel.
Selecting channel positions
Each time when changing the channel position, an on-screen display appears
briefly informing you about the current channel position number, the station name,
programme with or without teletext, the current clock time, and the duration and
title of the currently received TV or radio channel.
1 Repeatedly press the »

« buttons on the satellite receiver or the

« buttons on the remote control to select the channel positions
step by step.
2 Keep the »
aa bb
« buttons on the satellite receiver or the »
,,..
« buttons
on the remote control pressed to scroll the channel positions at high speed.
3 Enter multi-position channel position numbers within 3 seconds using the
numeric buttons »1...0« on the remote control then call up the channel
position directly using the »OK« button.
4 Using the green

button you may switch between the TV and radio pro-
grammes.
