Switching the answering machine
on and off
The answering machine is switched on in its original
condition.
On the base station
1 Press and hold down » Ǽ« on the base station
to switch on the answering machine.
– You will hear a message, display on the base sta-
tion: »A o«.
2 Press and hold down » Ǽ« on the base station
to switch off the answering machine.
– You hear a message, on the base station display:
»– –« or »0 0«.
On the handset
1 Open the menu by pressing the »Menu« function
button on the right.
2 Select the »TAM« menu item with »

« or
»R« and activate with the »OK« function button on
the right.
3 Select »TAM on /off« with »
ĭĭ

« and press the
»OK« function button on the right to activate.

5 Quit the function with » «.
Accepting a call
When you have an incoming call, you can wait until
the caller begins to leave a message on the answering
machine.
If you want to take the call, pick up the handset from
the base station/charger and press » «.
The answering machine then stops recording.
Memory capacity of answering machine
The device informs you when the memory is full of
messages.
