To make car radio operation as easy as possible, numerous
“convenience” settings that you need only once or occasionally are
located in an additional control level (EXPERT).
Possible EXPERT settings
Code settings (»CODE/SAFE«).
Display contrast (»LCD 25«).
Display colour (»COL 25«).
Security LED on/off (»BLK ON/OFF«).
Sound signal on/off (»BEEP ON/OFF«).
AM range on/off (»AM 0N/OFF«).
Automatic LEARN function on/off (»LRN ON/OFF«).
Automatic change of regional programme on/off (»REG
ON/OFF«).
Switching on and off with the ignition (»IGN ON/OFF«).
Muting in car telephone mode, telephone mode via the car radio
(»PHONE ON/OFF/IN«).
Volume difference compensation of recorded cassettes (»TAPE«).
Input sensitivity in CD or DAT mode (»MCD«).
Volume limitation when switching on (»ONVOL«).
Minimum volume for traffic announcements (»TAVOL«).
Speed-controlled volume (»SCV 0 67«).
On/off switching delay for connected booster (»BDLY 35«).
Changing EXPERT settings
1 Press the »EXPERT« button until the signal sounds to activate the
expert control level.
– The display indicates one of the possible functions, e.g.
»CODE«.
2 Turn the »
O« control knob to select the desired EXPERT setting
(see above), e.g. “volume limitation when switching on”.
