TURN, SUDDEN STOPOR CRASH. Your child
can be injured in a vehicle even if you are not in a
crash. Sudden braking and sharp turns can injure
your child if the booster seat is not properly
installed or if your child is not properly secured in
the booster seat.

• NEVER PLACE THIS BOOSTER SEAT INA
VEHICLE SEATINGLOCATION THAT HAS
ANAIR BAG.If an air bag
inflates, it can hit the child and
booster seat with great force and
cause serious injury or death to
your child. Refer to your vehicle
owner’s manual for information
about air bags and booster seat
installation.
• According to accident statistics, CHILDREN
ARE SAFER WHEN PROPERLY
RESTRAINEDIN REAR VEHICLE
SEATINGPOSITIONS, RATHER THAN
FRONT SEATING POSITIONS. For a vehicle
with a front passenger air bag, refer to your
vehicle owner’s manual as well as these
instructions for booster seat installation.
• NEVER LEAVEYOUR CHILD
UNATTENDED.
• NEVER LEAVEABOOSTER SEAT
UNSECUREDIN YOUR VEHICLE. An
unsecured booster seat can be thrown around and
may injure occupants in a sharp turn, sudden
stop or crash. Remove it or make sure that it is
securely belted in the vehicle.
• REPLACE THE BOOSTER SEATAFTER
ANACCIDENT OFANYKIND. An accident
can cause damage to the booster seat that you
cannot see.

manufacturers.
• NEVER USE BOOSTER SEAT IF IT HAS
DAMAGEDOR MISSING PARTS.DO NOT
use a cut, frayed or damaged vehicle seat belt.
• THE BOOSTER SEAT CAN BECOME VERY
HOT IFLEFT IN THE SUN. Contact with these
parts can burn your child’s skin.Always touch the
surface of any metal or plastic parts before
putting your child in the booster seat.
• THIS CHILDRESTRAINT CONFORMS to all
applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards
and is certified for use in motor vehicles. This
restraint isNOT certified for use in aircraft
because there is no shoulder belt available.
• NEVERGIVE THIS BOOSTER SEAT to
someone else without also giving them this
manual.
• NEVER USEA SECOND-HAND BOOSTER
SEAT or a booster seat whose history you do not
know.
• NEVER USE THISBOOSTER SEAT without
the armrests attached to the base.

Insert armrest into base
as shown until buttons
snap into slots on side of
base .
Step 2.
Select the desired
armrest height for your
child, then insert the
height adjustment
screw and tighten.
Repeat for other
armrest.
Step 3.
To adjust armrests,
remove screw and press
in button on side of base
as shown to raise or
lower . Reinsert
screw and tighten.
CHECK to make sure
armrests are securely
attached by pulling up
on them.

Step 6.
On certain models, your lower back support pad may
not be attached to the back support. Place lower back
support pad around edges of support as shown. Then
fasten lower elastic strap to the metal hook on the other
side of the seat pad. If your lower back support pad is
already attached go to Step 6a.

Step 8.
Attach elastic strap to metal hook on other side of seat
pad as shown . If your elastic strap is already
attached you can skip to Step 9.

Step 7.
Squeeze red adjustment button and slide two pieces
together until they snap into place .
CHECK to make sure two pieces are securely snapped
together by pulling on them.

Step 9.
Flip seat over and insert the fabric from the head
support underneath the fabric on the lower back support
as shown .
To make insertion of fabric easier, slide the upper and
lower back pieces apart by squeezing the red adjustment
button.

Step 10.
Attach backrest to base. “U”-shaped hooks on bottom
of backrest will interlock with bars on base .
Make sure that no part of the seat covering interferes
when attaching backrest to the base.

Once backrest is securely attached to the base, push
backrest up as shown .

appropriate for your child’s size may increase the
risk of serious injury or death.
Weight andHeight Limits
To use thisGraco booster seat, your child MUST
meetALL of the following requirements:
With back support
(approximately 3 to 10 years old) :
• weigh between 30 and 100 lbs.
(mass between 13.6 and 45 kg), and
• are between 38 and 57 inches (96 and 145 cm)
in height, and
• the shoulder belt MUST lay
across child’s shoulders in red
zone as shown in and the
lap portion is positioned low
on the childs hips, and
• the child’s ears are below top
of booster seat. If tops of ears
are above top of seat, your
child is too large for the
booster seat

Without back support
(approximately 4 to 10 years old) :
• weigh between 40 and 100 lbs.
(mass between 18 and 45 kg), and
• are between 40 and 57 inches
(101 and 145 cm) in height, and
• the shoulder belt MUST
lay across child’s shoulders
in red zone as shown in
and the lap portion is positioned
low on the childs hips, and
• when sitting on the booster
seat, your child’s ears are
below the top of the vehicle
seat cushion / head rest.
Your Graco booster seat can be
used with or without the back
support (on certain models) as
long as the above requirements are met.

IMPROPER PLACEMENT OFTHE BOOSTER
SEAT INCREASES THE RISK OF SERIOUS
INJURY OR DEATH. Some seating positions in
your vehicle may NOT be safe for this booster seat.
Some vehicles do not have any seating positions
that can be used safely with the booster seat. If you
are not sure where to place the booster seat in your
vehicle, consult your vehicle owner’s manual or
callGraco Children's Products Inc., at
1-800-345-4109.
VehicleSeatLocationRequirements
• Children are safer when properly restrained in
rear vehicle seating positions. Whenever possible
secure theGraco booster seat in the center position
of the seat directly behind the front seats. However,
this position is often equipped with a lap belt only
and cannot be used.
• The vehicle seat MUST face forward.
MANY SEAT BELT SYSTEMSARE NOT SAFE
TO USE WITH THE BOOSTER SEAT.
Pay careful attention to these systems; some of
the seat belts that are NOT safe to use look very
much like seat belts that are safe to use. If you
are unsure,
consult your vehicle owner’s manual
or callGraco Children's Products Inc.,
at 1-800-345-4109.

1. Insert the loop end of strap around verticla bar

shown in and pull strap down to tighten clip

To Remove Seat Cover
1. Remove elastic loops and hooks from seat as
shown .
On some models, there is a plastic clip in the
front of the seat pad on the base that will need to
be removed before washing.
2. Machine wash cover in cold water on delicate
cycle and drip-dry.DO NOTUSE BLEACH.
3. To put the seat cover back on, reverse
preceding instructions.

traben en las ranuras de
la base lateral .

Seleccione la altura
deseada del apoyabrazos
para su niño, luego
inserte el tornillo de
ajuste de la altura
y ajústelo. Repita
el procedimiento en
el otro apoyabrazos.
Paso3.
Para ajustar el
apoyabrazos, saque los
tornillos y oprima el
botón en el costado de
la base como se indica
para subirlo o bajarlo .
Vuelva a insertar el
tornillo y ajústelo.

conectados, jalando

inferior del respaldo no esté sujeta al respaldo.
Coloque la almohadilla inferior del respaldo alrededor
de los bordes de apoyo, como indica la figura. Luego
ajuste la correa elástica inferior al gancho de metal que
está en el lado opuesto de la almohadilla del asiento.
Si ya sujetó la almohadilla del respaldo, diríjase al
Paso6a.

Apriete el botón rojo de ajuste y junte las dos piezas
hasta que encajen en su sitio .

conectadas, jalando las mismas.

Si ya sujetó la correa elástica, puede dirigirse

De la vuelta al asiento e inserte la tela del apoyacabezas
debajo de la tela del respaldo como se indica .
Para facilitar la inserción de la tela, separe las piezas
superior e inferior del respaldo, apretando el botón rojo
de ajuste.

Conecte el respaldo a la base. Los ganchos en forma de
"U" en el fondo del respaldo se engancharán en las
barras de la base .
Asegúrese que ninguna pieza de la funda del asiento
interfiera con la conexión del respaldo a la base.

Una vez que el respaldo está bien conectado a la base,
suba el mismo como se indica .

NO USAR el asiento para niños de manera
apropiada para el tamaño de su niño podrá
aumentar el riesgo de lesiones graves o la muerte.
Límitesdealturaypeso
Para usar este asiento para niños de Graco, su niño
DEBE cumplir con TODOS los requisitos siguientes:
Conrespaldo (de 3 a 10 años, aproximadamente):
• o debe pesar entre 30 y 100 libras (13.6 y 45 kg), y
• medir entre 38 y 57 pulgadas (96 y 145 cm) de
altura, y
• el cinturón de hombro DEBE
cruzar los hombros del niño
en la zona roja como se indica
en y la parte de regazo
debe quedar en la parte
inferior de las caderas del
niño, y
• las orejas del niño deben
quedar por debajo de la parte
superior del asiento para
niños. Si la parte superior de
las orejas queda por encima de
la parte superior de la silla,
su niño es demasiado grande
para el asiento para niños.
