- After use.
• Always use certified lengthening cords.
• For indoor use only.
• To disconnect the plug pull the plug not
the cord.
• Turn on after the cooking plates have
been fixed.
• Cool to room temperature before storing.
• Do not touch the cooking plates with
metal or other sharp objects.
• If the mains cord is damaged, you must
have it replaced by Gorenje, a service
centre authorised by Gorenje or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
FIRST USE
• Make sure the appliance was not damaged in
transport.
• Put the appliance on a firm, dry hard base out of
reach of children. High temperatures when
plugged on!!!
• Make sure:
• The electrical voltage and frequency is suitable.
Check the rating plate for reference.
• The current is at least 10A.
• The plug is suitable to the socket.
• The plug is grounded. The manufacturer does not
take any responsibility for misuse.
• Before first use turt on the appliance and let it
heat up without food for at least 10 minutes.
Air the room if any unwanted smell.
HOW TO USE YOUR APPLIANCE
• Close the appliance and put the plug in the wall
socket. The power light and the heating light go
on.
• The appliance is ready for use when the ready
light goes off.
• Open the appliance and put the food on lower
plate.
• Close the lid and lock it.
• Open the appliance after 3-6 minutes to check
whether the food is golden brown.
• Remove the food with wooden or plastic fork in
order not to damage the coated plates.
REMOVING THE COOKING PLATES
• Unplug the appliance.
• Wait for it to cool down to room temperature.
• Open the appliances.
• Push the fixing clip and remove the plate.
CLEANING
Before cleaning cool the appliance to room
temperature.
Open the appliance and the plates clean with a
damp cloth.
The outside of the appliance clean with a damp
cloth. Do not use any aggressive cleaning materials.
STORAGE
Wind the mains cord round the storage facility and
store the appliance in vertical or horizontal position.
Store the appliance in a dry place out of reach of
children.
ENVIRONMENT
Do not throw away the appliance with the normal
household waste at the end of its life, but hand it in
at an official collection point for recycling. By doing
this, you help to preserve the environment.
