“Founded many, many years ago with the goal
of protecting humanity from outside threats.
Their methods , however, are dierent — more
draconian — than ours.”
“They’re enacting genocide! ” The man interrup ts.
“They are nothing but a roving band of thugs,
killing ever y group of Inox and Vermlings they
come across, and doing the ir best to eject the Inox
and Vermlings from this city.”
“They are more than thugs,” the woman shakes her
head. “The y are very organized. This campaign is
alarmingly systematic, and it needs to be stopped.
This city was founded upon the idea of all races
working together in harmony, and the Vigil has
twisted that around into something per verse.”
“Their organization will be their undoing ,” the man
says. “We have infor mation on where their nex t
target will be - an Inox villa ge in the northeastern
foothills of the Watcher Mountains. We need you
to stop them. We need you to make an example of
their deplorable behavior.”

tasked with the prot ection and proliferation of
this city, and we have let a threat — the Vigil —
fester for far too long.”
