Congratulations on purchasing your Geemarc Dallas20. This is an
amplified big button telephone The large button keypad is easy to see
and use, it helps to prevent any misdialing. There
are one touch
memory dial buttons, also designed to make dialing easier
because you will be able to identify these speed dial buttons with
pictures of your friends and family if you want. This telephone is
compatible with hearing aids.
It is important that you read the instructions below in order to use your
Geemarc telephone to its full potential. Keep this user guide in a safe
place for future reference.
2- SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using your telephone equipment, the following basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire,
electric shock and injury to persons:
1. Read and understand all instructions
2. Follow all warnings and instructions.
3. Unplug the line cord of the product from the wall let before
cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use
damp clothe for cleaning.
4. Never push objects of any kind into this product through cabinet
slots as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short out
parts that could result in a risk of fire or electric shock.
5. Never spill liquid of any kind on the product.

disconnect the unit, there may be a remote risk of electronic shock

DELETE KEY
Pressing the delete key allows you to erase the digit last entered
when you are setting your IP card number and password, or when you are
dialing a number you wish to call.
When you are in the setting menu, pressing the delete key allow
you to leave the menu or sub-menu you are in ( Except for brightness
adjustment);
When you are reviewing your last incoming or outgoing calls, pressing the
delete key erases number showing on the display or long press
the key for 3 seconds, delete all incoming calls or outgoing
numbers.

4- PHONE’S INSTALLATION
UNPACKING THE TELEPHONE
When unpacking the telephone, you should find the following in the
box:

1 Dallas 20 handset with curly cord
1 Telephone line cord

CONNECTING TELEPHONE
1 - Connect the curly cord between the left side of the base and the
bottom of the handset.
2 - Connect the line cord to one of the two socket located at rear of
telephone then connect the PTT plug*.
On the second socket, you have the possibility to connect one other
phone or ringer amplifier for example.
5- PHONE’S SETTING
MOVING IN THE MENU
With the receiver “on-hook”, press the key to enter the setting
menu, the display reads "SET 1 DATE". Pressing on the arrow keys
and allows you to navigate within the setting menu and
see the different sub-menus available. Once you have found the sub-
menu you were looking for, press the key to enter it. After having
made all the necessary changes, press the key to move to the
next sub-menu. Use the arrow keys and to navigate

between the different items of the sub-menus. You can leave the
setting mode by pressing the delete key.
SETTING DATE AND TIME
When in the setting menu, go to the "SET 1 DATE" sub-menu and
press the key. The display shows the year and flashes. Use the
arrow keys and to set the correct year and press the
key to confirm. The display now shows the month and flashes.
Use the arrow keys and to set the correct month and
press the key to confirm. You are now asked to set the day and
time (the hour first and then the minutes). Follow the same method
as before and use the arrow keys and to go to the
desired values before pressing the key to confirm. Once that is
done, the display will show the information you have entered.
After the time and date are set, the LCD display will automatically
display the corresponding week and current month calendar. The CID
incoming call signal automatically refreshes the original system date
and time, and the DTMF incoming call signal has no effect on the
original system time and date settings.
SETTING 5-DIGIT LOCAL AREA CODE
When in the setting menu, go to the "SET 2 CODE" sub-menu and
press the key.
The display reads “CODE----” and flashes. Use the arrow keys
and to individually of your select the digits local area code and
press the key to confirm each one.

SETTING PABX CODE
When in the setting menu, go to the "SET 3 PCODE" sub-menu and
press the key.
The display reads “PCODE-” and flashes. Use the arrow keys
and to select your PABX code from 0 to 9 and press the
key to confirm.
Note: If a PABX code has been set, it will automatically be added by
the telephone to the outgoing number, providing that this number has
a 6 digit or more, and that the first digit is different from the set PABX
code.
If an automatic IP number has also been set, the telephone will dial
the PABX code first, and then the automatic IP number. The
telephone will pause for 700ms after each PABX is dialed.
To remove the PABX automatic dialing function, set it to “-“through
the SET 3 PCODE” sub-menu.
The phone does not lock the outgoing code, and only the numbers
after the outgoing code are considered to be locked.
SET AUTOMATIC IP
When in the setting menu, go to the "SET 4 AUTO IP" sub-menu and
press the key. The display reads “AUTO IP OFF” and the word
“OFF” flashes. Use the arrow keys and to turn the
automatic IP function On or Off. To activate it, select “AUTO IP ON”
and press the key. The display now reads “INPUT CODE”. Using
the numbered keys, enter the special service number, card number,
and password provided to you by the IP service of your
PHONE’S SETTING

telecommunication service provider. If you happen to press the wrong
key while entering the aforementioned codes, you can press on the
delete key to erase an incorrect digit. Press the key to
confirm each code once they have been entered. Setting an
automatic IP number allows your telephone to automatically dial said
number for you, providing that the phone number you have dialed
starts with “0”.
After setting the automatic IP opening and the corresponding
automatic IP number in the menu, when picking up the phone for
manual dialing or pre-dial dialing, or for incoming and outgoing calls,
if the first number is "0", the phone will automatically add the
number before the number. Set the IP number.
SETTING ALARM CLOCK
When in the setting menu, go to the "SET 5 ALERT" sub-menu and
press the key.
The display reads “00-00 OFF”. Use the arrow keys and
to set the time for the alarm, selecting each digits for the hour and
minutes individually and pressing on the key to confirm each one.
To activate the alarm, use the arrow keys and to change
“OFF” to “ON” and press the key to confirm.
If the alarm function is set ON, it will sound for 1 minute on time.
Press any key including key, lift the hook switch to hang up for
one second and then go off-hook to stop the alarm and return to the
on-hook state.
If the phone is off-hook, ringing, or missed (within 6 seconds after
the ringing stops) when the scheduled alarm time is reached, the

alarm will be cancelled automatically.
SETTING FLASH TIME
When in the setting menu, go to the "SET 6 FLASH" sub-menu and
press the key.
The display reads “FLASH 4 1000”. There are 4 flash time groups
that can be selected depending on the country you are located in.
Please select 110 for the UK, 300 for France, 600 for the US or 1000
when applicable. Use the arrow keys and to select the
appropriate group and press the key to confirm.
SETTING RINGER VOLUME
Using the switch button located on the back of the telephone, you can
set the volume of the ringer to either “Hi” for High, “Lo” for Low or “Off”
to stop according to your preferences.
LCD BRIGHTNESS ADJUSTMENT
Press the key to increase or decrease the contrast on the
display. There are 5 levels of intensity to choose from. You go from
one level to the next by pressing once on the key. When on level
5, pressing once the key decreases the intensity back to the
level 4.
6- CALL LOG INFORMATION
INCOMING CALL
The telephone will ring each time there is an incoming call.
If you have subscribed to your provider’s Caller ID services, the

caller’s number will be shown on the lower line of the display.
If an incoming call is not answered, the caller’s number will be saved
and the word “NEW” will be visible on the left side of the display.
If the same number has called twice or more, the word “REPEAT” will
be visible on the left side of the display. If there is an existing number,
a "duplicate" sign will appear. If the caller’s number is confidential, the
LCD will display "----P----". If the caller’s number is out of range, "----
O----" is displayed. If the caller’s number signal is incorrect, "----E----
" will be displayed.
After receiving a new call, the phone will keep displaying the new
caller's number and time until the call is answered or there is
pressing a button.
In case the telephone’s memory is full, the number of the last caller
will always replace the number of the oldest one, except if this number
is registered as a VIP number.
REVIEWING PAST INCOMING CALLS AND CALLING BACK
With the receiver “on-hook”, press the down arrow key to review
the list of the last incoming calls (61 calls maximum). Use the arrow
leys or to see the numbers one by one. You can press the
key, the key or pick up the handset to dial out the number
showing on the display.
For international calls, if you press the key twice, the telephone
will automatically add "0" before the first digits of the number.
Note: If the caller’s number exceeds 16 digits, then only the last 16
digits will be shown on the display.

REVIEWING PAST OUTGOING CALLS
With the receiver “on-hook”, press the “OUT” key to review the list of
the last 17 dialed numbers as well as the call duration for each. Press
the “OUT” key each time you wish to see the number dialed before
the one shown on the display. You can press the key, the key
or pick up the handset to dial out the number showing on the display.
7- USING YOUR PHONE
If you are wearing hearing aids, set your
hearing aid to the “T” setting.
USING PRE-DIAL
With the receiver “on-hook”, dial the number you wish to call and then
press the key, the key or pick up the handset to dial out. In
case you mistype when dialing the number, pressing the delete
key erases the digit last entered.
INCOMING CALL (OUTGOING CALL) QUERY
After off-hook, you can use the and keys to
check incoming calls, or use the key (one-way) to check
outgoing calls.
CALL TIMING
After off-hook dialing, the phone automatically enters the call timing,
and manual timing is not allowed.

MUTE FUNCTION AND RINGTONE MUTE
A. In the process of talking with someone, you can press the
"MUTE" key to send to mute, accompanied by the indicator light,
press the "MUTE" key again, the indicator light is off, unmute and
continue the call (handle and free It can be used when the state is
muted).
B. When there is a ringtone, press the [MUTE] key, the ringtone will
be muted at this time, and the next call will still ring normally.
BOOST FUNCTION
When in a conversation, if the caller’s voice coming from the
handset isn’t loud enough for you to hear it clearly, you can press
the key to increase it by 10 decibels.
SETTINGS VIP NUMBERS
With the receiver “on-hook”, press the down arrow key to
review the list of the last 61 incoming calls. Use the arrow leys
or to see the numbers one by one. Press the key
to register the number showing on the display as a VIP number.
The icon becomes visible next to the number.
Numbers registered as VIP numbers cannot be individually
deleted from the last 61 incoming calls list. The only way to delete
them is to delete all the numbers from the list at once, by pressing
on the delete key for three seconds.
If the list of the last incoming calls already counts 61 entries and
there is a new incoming call, the telephone will delete the oldest
non-VIP number from the list to make room for the new entry. In
case all of the 61 entries are VIP number, the oldest VIP number

is deleted.
When there is an incoming call from a VIP number, the icon is
visible on the display next to the number of the person calling. The
telephone will also use a different ringtone for the calls from VIP
numbers.
SMART BACKLIGHT FUNCTION
When the phone is loaded with 3 AA batteries, the phone
automatically turns on the backlight when pressing one touch, off-
hook, incoming ring, incoming call, and any operation of the phone,
and automatically turns off after 6 seconds of use.
8- ONE TOUCH MEMORY BUTTON
RECORD A MEMORY BUTTON
To store a number in one of the memory buttons, with the receiver
“on-hook”, dial the number you wish to store and press the key.
The display reads “Store in”. You then have 3 seconds to choose in
which of the three memory buttons you wish to store the number.
Press either M1, M2 or M3 to make your choice. If you don’t press
any button, the phone will go back to idle mode.
You can also select a number from the recent incoming and outgoing
calls lists. Press the key to store the number showing on the
display, then follow the above indications.
MAKE A CALL USING THE MEMORY BUTTONS
Pick up the receiver or press the key, then press the memory
button (M1-M2 or M3) in which the number you wish to call is stored.

The telephone will dial the number automatically.
You can also press the key to dial out the last dialed number.
9- TROUBLE SHOOTINGS
No voice
Check if the handset is properly connected at the base or line cord
is not broken.
Receive only
Check that the microphone hole is not blocked
Battery rust or leak
Remove the rust then wipe out the leaking liquid.
Noise
Move the electronic devices near the Dallas 20
Ring once then disconnect when receive a call.
Check if connector is in a moist environment.
Check if too many extensions are used together or the quality of
extension is not good enough (Change the bad extension)
Check with your network provider that your Voicemail is not set on
one ringer
LCD becomes dim
Adjust LCD contrast, if the LCD is still dim, replace the battery.
Most of the functions failed
Check if the batteries are in low-battery state. (Change the battery.)
Batteries are in normal state (Remove the batteries, Unplug the
lines and reinstall after 10 minutes)

téléphone amplifié à grandes touches. Le clavier à grandes touches
est facile à voir et à utiliser, il permet d'éviter toute erreur de
numérotation. Certaines touches de composition rapide sont
également conçues pour faciliter la numérotation, dans la mesure où
elles sont identifiables par les photos de vos amis et de votre famille
si vous le souhaitez. Ce téléphone est compatible avec les appareils

TOUCHE D'EFFACEMENT
La touche d'effacement vous permet de supprimer le dernier
chiffre saisi lorsque vous définissez le numéro de votre carte IP et
votre mot de passe, ou lorsque vous composez un numéro que vous
souhaitez appeler.
Lorsque vous êtes dans le menu de réglage, une pression sur la
touche d’effacement vous permet de quitter le menu ou le
sous-menu dans lequel vous vous trouvez (sauf pour le réglage de
la luminosité).
Lorsque vous passez en revue vos derniers appels entrants ou
sortants, appuyez sur la touche de suppression pour effacer
le numéro affiché à l'écran ou appuyez sur la touche pendant

3 secondes pour supprimer tous les appels entrants ou les numéros
sortants.
4- INSTALLATION DU TÉLÉPHONE
CONTENU DE LA BOITE
Le téléphone est emballé dans une boîte contenant les éléments
suivants :

1 Câble téléphonique
1 Guide utilisateur
RACCORDEMENT DU TÉLÉPHONE
1. Branchez le cordon spiralé entre le côté gauche de la base
téléphonique au bas du combiné.
2. Connectez le câble téléphonique à l'une des deux sorties
situées à l'arrière du téléphone puis l’autre coté à votre prise
murale ou box internet.
Sur la deuxième sortie, vous avez la possibilité de connecter un autre
téléphone ou un amplificateur de sonnerie par exemple.

5- RÉGLAGES DU TÉLÉPHONE
NAVIGATION DANS LES MENUS DE RÉGLAGE
Lorsque le combiné est raccroché, appuyez sur la touche
pour entrer dans le menu de réglage, l'écran affiche « SET 1 DATE
(Régler la date 1) ». En appuyant sur les touches fléchées et
vous pouvez naviguer dans le menu de réglage et voir les
différents sous-menus disponibles. Une fois le sous-menu recherché
trouvé, appuyez sur la touche pour y accéder. Après avoir
effectué toutes les modifications nécessaires, appuyez sur la touche
pour passer au sous-menu suivant. Utilisez les touches fléchées
et pour naviguer entre les différents sous-menus. Vous
pouvez quitter le mode de réglage en appuyant sur la touche de
suppression .
RÉGLAGE DE LA DATE/HEURE
Lorsque vous êtes dans le menu de réglage, allez au sous-menu
« SET 1 DATE (Réglage de la date) » et appuyez sur la touche .
L'écran affiche l'année et clignote Utilisez les touches fléchées
et pour régler l'année et appuyez sur la touche pour
confirmer.
L'écran affiche maintenant le mois et clignote. Utilisez les touches

Vous devez maintenant régler le jour et l'heure (d'abord l'heure, puis
les minutes). Suivez la même méthode que précédemment et utilisez
les touches fléchées et pour vous rendre aux valeurs
souhaitées avant d'appuyer sur la touche pour confirmer.
Une fois cette opération terminée, l'écran affiche les informations que
vous avez saisies.
Une fois l'heure et la date réglées, l'écran LCD affiche
automatiquement le jour de la semaine.
Si vous avez la fonction présentation du numéro, cette fonction
permet le rafraîchissement automatique de la date et l'heure du
téléphone, par contre le signal d'appel entrant de format DTMF n'a
aucun effet sur les réglages de l'heure et de la date du système
d'origine.
RÉGLAGE DE L'INDICATIF LOCAL À 5 CHIFFRES
Lorsque vous êtes dans le menu de réglage, allez au sous-menu
« SET 2 CODE (Réglage de l’indicatif 2 » et appuyez sur la touche
L'écran affiche « CODE ---- » et clignote. Utilisez les touches
fléchées et pour sélectionner individuellement les chiffres
de votre indicatif local et appuyez sur la touche pour confirmer
chacun d'eux.

RÉGLAGE DU CODE PABX
Lorsque vous êtes dans le menu de réglage, allez au sous-menu
« SET 3 CODE (Réglage du code 3) » et appuyez sur la touche .
L'écran affiche « PCODE - »et clignote. Utilisez les touches fléchées
et pour sélectionner votre code PABX compris entre 0 et 9
et appuyez sur la touche pour confirmer.
Remarque : Si un code PABX a été défini, il sera automatiquement
ajouté par le téléphone au numéro sortant, à condition que ce numéro
ait 6 chiffres ou plus, et que le premier chiffre soit différent du code
PABX défini. Si votre premier chiffre correspond à votre code PABX,
la pause se fera après le premier chiffre.
Si un numéro IP automatique a également été défini, le téléphone
composera d'abord le code PABX, puis le numéro IP automatique. Le
téléphone se met en pause pendant 700 ms après la composition de
chaque numéro PABX.
Pour supprimer la fonction de composition automatique PABX,
réglez-la sur « - » dans le sous-menu « SET 3 PCODE (Réglage du
PCODE 3 ».
RÉGLAGE AUTOMATIQUE DE L’IP
Lorsque vous êtes dans le menu de réglage, allez au sous-menu
« SET 4 AUTO IP (Réglage automatique de l’IP) » et appuyez sur la
touche . L'écran affiche « AUTO IP OFF (Réglage automatique de
l’IP désactivé) » et le terme « OFF » clignote. Utilisez les touches

fléchées et pour activer ou désactiver la fonction IP
automatique. Pour l'activer, sélectionnez « AUTO IP ON (IP
automatique activée » et appuyez sur la touche . L’écran affiche
maintenant « INPUT CODE (Entrer le code) ». À l'aide des touches
numérotées, entrez le numéro de service spécial, le numéro de carte
et le mot de passe qui vous ont été communiqués par le service IP
de votre fournisseur de services de télécommunications. S'il vous
arrive d'appuyer sur une mauvaise touche lors de la saisie des codes
fournis, vous pouvez appuyer sur la touche d'effacement
pour supprimer un chiffre incorrect. Appuyez sur la touche
pour confirmer chaque code après l’avoir entré. Le réglage
automatique d'un numéro IP permet à votre téléphone de composer
automatiquement ce numéro pour vous, à condition que le numéro
de téléphone que vous avez composé commence par « 0 ».
Après avoir activé la fonction l'IP et entrez le numéro IP
correspondant dans le menu, lorsque vous décrochez le téléphone
pour la numérotation manuelle ou la numérotation préalable, ou pour
les appels entrants et sortants, si le premier chiffre est « 0 », le
téléphone ajoutera automatiquement le code avant votre numéro de
téléphone.
RÉGLAGE DE L’ALARME
Dans le menu de réglage, allez au sous-menu « SET 5 ALERT
(Réglage de l’alarme) » et appuyez sur la touche .

L'écran affiche « 00 -00 OFF ». Utilisez les touches fléchées et
pour régler l'heure de l'alarme, en sélectionnant
individuellement chaque chiffre de l'heure et des minutes et en
appuyant sur la touche pour confirmer chaque chiffre. Pour
activer l'alarme, utilisez les touches fléchées et pour
passer de « OFF (Désactiver) » à « ON (Activer) » et appuyez sur la
touche pour confirmer.
Si la fonction d'alarme est réglée sur ON, elle sonnera pendant 1
minute à l'heure indiquée.
Appuyez sur n'importe quelle touche, y compris la touche ou
soulevez le combiné puis raccrocher pour arrêter l'alarme.
Si le téléphone est décroché, qu'il sonne ou que l'appel est manqué
(dans les 6 secondes suivant l'arrêt de la sonnerie) lorsque
l'heure de l'alarme programmée est atteinte, l'alarme est
automatiquement annulée.
RÉGLAGE DE LA DURÉE DU FLASH
Dans le menu de réglage, allez au sous-menu « SET 6 FLASH
(Réglage du flash 6 » et appuyez sur la touche .
L'écran affiche « FLASH 4 1000 ». Il existe 4 choix de durées de flash
qui peuvent être sélectionnés en fonction du pays dans lequel vous
vous trouvez. Veuillez sélectionner 110 pour le Royaume-Uni, 300
pour la France, 600 pour les États-Unis ou 1 000 le cas échéant
Utilisez les touches fléchées et pour sélectionner le temps

correct et appuyez sur la touche pour confirmer.
RÉGLAGE DU VOLUME DE LA SONNERIE
Le commutateur situé à l'arrière du téléphone vous permet de régler
le volume de la sonnerie sur « Hi » pour Fort, « Lo » pour Faible ou
« Off » pour arrêter selon vos préférences.
RÉGLAGE DE LA LUMINOSITÉ DE L'ÉCRAN LCD
Appuyez sur la touche pour augmenter ou diminuer le contraste
de l'écran. Vous pouvez choisir un des 5 niveaux d'intensité
disponibles. Vous pouvez passer d'un niveau à l'autre en appuyant
une fois sur la touche . Lorsque le niveau 5 est atteint, le fait
d'appuyer une fois sur la touche ramène l'intensité au niveau 4.
6 - JOURNAL DES APPELS
JOURNAL DES APPELS ENTRANT
Le téléphone sonnera pour chaque appel entrant.
Si vous êtes abonné aux services d'identification de l'appelant
de votre opérateur, le numéro de l'appelant s'affiche sur la ligne
inférieure de l'écran.
Si vous ne répondez pas à un appel entrant, le numéro de
l'appelant sera enregistré et le terme « NEW (Nouveau) » sera
visible sur le côté gauche de l'écran.
Si le même numéro a appelé deux fois ou plus, le terme « REPEAT
(Répétition) » sera visible sur le côté gauche de l'écran. Si le numéro

existe déjà, un symbole de « doublon » s'affiche. Si le numéro de
l'appelant est confidentiel, l'écran LCD affiche « ----P---- ». Si le signal
de numéro de l'appelant est hors de portée, « ----O---- »
s'affiche. Si le signal de numéro de l'appelant est incorrect, « ----E---
- » s'affiche.
Après avoir reçu un nouvel appel, le téléphone continue d'afficher le
numéro et l'heure d'appel du nouvel appelant jusqu'à ce que l'on
réponde à l'appel ou que l'on appuie sur une touche.
Si la mémoire du téléphone est pleine, le numéro du dernier appelant
remplacera toujours le plus ancien numéro, sauf si ce numéro est
enregistré comme numéro VIP.
VÉRIFICATION DU JOURNAL DES APPELS
ENTRANTS ET RAPPEL
Lorsque le récepteur est « raccroché », appuyez sur la flèche vers le
bas pour consulter le journal des appels entrants (61 appels
maximum). Utilisez la touche fléchée ou pour voir les
chiffres un par un. Vous pouvez appuyer sur la touche , la touche
ou décrocher le combiné pour composer le numéro qui s'affiche
à l'écran.
Pour les appels internationaux, si vous appuyez deux fois sur la
touche , le téléphone ajoutera automatiquement le « 0 » avant les
premiers chiffres du numéro.
Remarque : Si le numéro de l'appelant dépasse 16 chiffres, seuls les
16 derniers chiffres seront visibles.

VÉRIFICATION DU JOURNAL DES APPELS SORTANTS
Lorsque le récepteur est raccroché, appuyez sur la touche « OUT
(Sortie) » pour consulter la liste des 17 derniers numéros composés
ainsi que la durée de l'appel pour chacun d'eux. Appuyez sur la
touche « OUT » chaque fois que vous souhaitez voir le numéro
composé précédant celui qui est affiché sur l'écran. Vous pouvez
appuyer sur la touche , sur la touche ou décrocher le combiné
pour composer le numéro qui s'affiche à l'écran.
7- UTILISATION DU TÉLÉPHONE
Si vous portez un appareil auditif, réglez-le sur
la position « T ».
UTILISATION DE LA FONCTION DE PRÉ COMPOSITION
Lorsque le combiné est raccroché, composez le numéro que vous
souhaitez appeler, puis appuyez sur la touche , la touche ou
décrochez le combiné pour composer le numéro. En cas de faute de
frappe lors de la composition du numéro, utilisez la touche
d'effacement qui permet de supprimer le dernier chiffre saisi.
ACCÈS AUX LISTES D'APPEL ENTRANT OU SORTANT
Après avoir raccroché, vous pouvez utiliser les touches et
pour vérifier les appels entrants, ou utiliser la touche

(unidirectionnelle) pour vérifier les appels sortants.
DURÉE DES APPELS
Après la composition en mode décroché, le téléphone affiche
automatiquement la durée de l’appel.
FONCTION SECRET ET ARRÊT DE LA SONNERIE
A. En cours d’une conversation avec quelqu'un, vous pouvez
appuyer sur la touche « MUTE (Silence) » pour couper le son,
le voyant lumineux s'allume, appuyez à nouveau sur la touche
« MUTE » le voyant lumineux s'éteint, vous pouvez poursuivre
l'appel en mains libres ou en tenant le combiné. Ce mode peut
être utilisé lorsque le son est coupé.
B. Si vous appuyez sur la touche [MUTE] (Silence) en présence
d'une sonnerie, la sonnerie sera coupée à ce moment-là et
l'appel suivant sonnera normalement.
FONCTION D’AMPLIFICATION
Lors d'une conversation, si la voix de l'appelant provenant du
combiné n'est pas assez forte pour que vous l'entendiez clairement,
vous pouvez appuyer sur la touche pour l'augmenter de 10
décibels.
RÉGLAGE DES NUMÉROS VIP
Lorsque le récepteur est « raccroché », appuyez sur la flèche
vers le bas pour consulter la liste des 61 derniers appels
entrants.
Utilisez la touche fléchée ou pour voir les chiffres un

par un.
Appuyez sur la touche pour enregistrer le numéro qui s'affiche
sur l'écran comme numéro VIP. L'icône apparaît à côté du
numéro.
Les numéros enregistrés comme numéros VIP ne peuvent pas
être supprimés individuellement de la liste des 61 derniers appels
entrants. Le seul moyen de les supprimer est d'effacer tous les
numéros de la liste en une seule fois, en appuyant sur la touche
de suppression pendant trois secondes.
Si la liste des derniers appels entrants compte déjà 61 entrées et
qu'il y a un nouvel appel entrant, le téléphone supprimera le
numéro non VIP le plus ancien de la liste pour faire place à la
nouvelle entrée. Si les 61 entrées sont toutes des numéros VIP,
le numéro VIP le plus ancien est supprimé.
Lorsqu'il y a un appel entrant provenant d'un numéro VIP, l'icône
est visible sur l'écran à côté du numéro de la personne qui
appelle. Le téléphone utilisera également une sonnerie différente
pour les appels provenant de numéros VIP.
FONCTION DE RÉTRO-ÉCLAIRAGE INTELLIGENT
Lorsque le téléphone a ses 3 piles AA insérées, il allume
automatiquement le rétroéclairage si vous appuyez sur une touche,
si vous décrochez, si vous recevez un appel, si vous utilisez le
téléphone, et il s'éteint automatiquement après 6 secondes
d'utilisation.

8-TOUCHES MEMOIRES
ENREGISTREMENT D’UNE TOUCHE MÉMOIRE
Pour mémoriser un numéro dans l'une des touches de mémorisation,
lorsque le combiné est « raccroché », composez le numéro que vous
souhaitez mémoriser et appuyez sur la touche . L'écran affiche
« Store in (Enregistrer dans) ». Vous avez ensuite 3 secondes pour
choisir dans laquelle des trois touches de mémoire vous souhaitez
enregistrer le numéro. Appuyez sur M1, M2 ou M3 pour valider votre
choix. Si vous n'appuyez pas sur une touche, le téléphone revient en
mode veille.
Vous pouvez également sélectionner un numéro dans les listes des
appels entrants et sortants récents.
Appuyez sur la touche pour mémoriser le numéro affiché sur
l'écran, puis suivez les indications ci-dessus.
PASSER UN APPEL À L'AIDE
DES TOUCHES MÉMOIRE
Décrochez le téléphone ou appuyez sur la touche , puis appuyez
sur la touche mémoire (M1-M2 ou M3) dans laquelle est enregistré
le numéro que vous souhaitez appeler. Le téléphone compose
automatiquement le numéro. Vous pouvez également appuyer sur la
touche pour rappeler le dernier numéro composé.

9-DÉPANNAGE
Aucun son
Vérifiez que le combiné est correctement branché à la base ou que
le câble téléphonique n'est pas cassé.
Réception uniquement
Vérifiez que l'orifice du microphone n'est pas obstrué.
Rouille ou fuite des piles
Enlevez la rouille puis essuyez le liquide qui fuit.
Bruit
Déplacez les appareils électroniques autour du Dallas 20.
Sonne une fois puis se déconnecte lors de la réception d'un
appel.
Vérifiez que la prise téléphonique ne se trouve pas dans un
environnement humide.
Vérifiez s’il n’y a pas trop de téléphone de connecté simultanément
ou si la qualité de la fiche n'est pas abîmée (changez la mauvaise
fiche).
Vérifiez auprès de votre fournisseur de réseau que votre messagerie
vocale n'est pas réglée sur une seule sonnerie.
L'écran LCD s'assombrit
Ajustez le contraste de l'écran LCD, si l'écran LCD est toujours
sombre, remplacez les piles.
La plupart des fonctions échouent
Vérifiez si les piles ne sont pas trop faibles. (Changez les piles.) Les
piles sont dans un état normal (Retirez les piles, débranchez les
câbles et réinstallez-les après 10 minutes).

Durch Drücken der Löschtaste können Sie die zuletzt eingegebene
Ziffer löschen, wenn Sie Ihre IP-Kartennummer und Ihr Passwort festlegen
oder wenn Sie eine Nummer wählen, die Sie anrufen möchten.
Wenn Sie sich im Einstellungsmenü befinden, können Sie durch Drücken
der Löschtaste das Menü oder Untermenü verlassen, in dem Sie
sich befinden (mit Ausnahme der Helligkeitseinstellung);
Wenn Sie Ihre letzten eingehenden oder ausgehenden Anrufe überprüfen,
können Sie durch Drücken der Löschtaste die auf dem Display
angezeigte Nummer löschen oder die Taste 3 Sekunden lang
gedrückt halten, um alle eingehenden Anrufe oder ausgehenden
Nummern zu löschen.

AUSPACKEN DES TELEFONS
Wenn Sie das Telefon auspacken, sollten Sie Folgendes in der
Verpackung finden:

ANSCHLIESSEN DES TELEFONS
1 - Schließen Sie das Spiralkabel zwischen der linken Seite der
Basis und der Unterseite des Mobilteils an.
2 - Verbinden Sie das Telefonkabel mit einer der beiden Buchsen
auf der Rückseite des Telefons und schließen Sie dann den
PTT-Stecker* an.
An der zweiten Buchse haben Sie die Möglichkeit, z.B. ein weiteres
Telefon oder einen Klingeltonverstärker anzuschließen.

NAVIGATION IM EINSTELLUNGSMENÜ
Drücken Sie bei aufgelegtem Hörer die Taste , um das
Einstellungsmenü aufzurufen, auf dem Display wird „SET 1
DATE“ angezeigt. Durch Drücken der Pfeiltasten und
können Sie im Einstellungsmenü navigieren und die
verschiedenen verfügbaren Untermenüs anzeigen. Wenn Sie
das gesuchte Untermenü gefunden haben, drücken Sie die
Taste , um es aufzurufen. Nachdem Sie alle notwendigen
Änderungen vorgenommen haben, drücken Sie die Taste,
um zum nächsten Untermenü zu gelangen. Verwenden Sie die
Pfeiltasten und , um zwischen den verschiedenen
Elementen der Untermenüs zu navigieren. Durch Drücken der
Löschtaste verlassen Sie den Einstellmodus.
EINSTELLUNG DATUM UND UHRZEIT
Gehen Sie im Einstellungsmenü zum Untermenü „SET 1
DATE“ und drücken Sie die Taste. Das Display zeigt
das Jahr und blinkt. Mit den Pfeiltasten und
das richtige Jahr einstellen und mit der Taste
bestätigen. Das Display zeigt nun den Monat und blinkt.
Stellen Sie mit den Pfeiltasten und den
richtigen Monat ein und bestätigen Sie mit der Taste . Sie
werden nun aufgefordert, den Tag und die Uhrzeit
einzustellen (zuerst die Stunde und dann die Minuten).

den aktuellen Monatskalender an. Das CID-Signal für
eingehende Anrufe aktualisiert automatisch Datum und
Uhrzeit des ursprünglichen Systems, und das Signal für
eingehende DTMF-Anrufe hat keine Auswirkung auf die
Einstellungen von Uhrzeit und Datum des ursprünglichen
Systems.
FESTLEGEN DER 5-STELLIGEN ORTSVORWAHL
Gehen Sie im Einstellungsmenü zum Untermenü „SET 2
CODE“ und drücken Sie die Taste. Das Display zeigt
„CODE ----“ und blinkt. Wählen Sie mit den Pfeiltasten
und Ihren PABX Code von 0 bis 9 und bestätigen Sie mit
der Taste .
EINSTELLUNG DES PABX CODES
Gehen Sie im Einstellungsmenü zum Untermenü „SET 3
PCODE“ und drücken Sie die Taste. Das Display zeigt
„PCODE -“ und blinkt. Wählen Sie mit den Pfeiltasten und
Ihren PABX-Code von 0 bis 9 und drücken Sie zur
Bestätigung die Taste
Hinweis: Wenn ein PABX-Code eingestellt wurde, wird dieser
vom Telefon automatisch zur ausgehenden Nummer
hinzugefügt, vorausgesetzt, dass diese Nummer mindestens 6-
stellig ist und die erste Ziffer vom eingestellten PABX-Code
abweicht.

Wenn auch eine automatische IP-Nummer eingestellt wurde,
wählt das Telefon zuerst den PABX-Code und dann die
automatische IP-Nummer. Das Telefon pausiert für 700 ms,
nachdem die einzelnen PABX-Codes gewählt werden.
Um die automatische PABX-Wählfunktion zu deaktivieren,
stellen Sie sie über das Untermenü „SET 3 PCODE“ auf „ -“ ein.
Das Telefon wählt den ausgehenden Code nicht, und nur die
Nummern nach dem ausgehenden Code werden gewählt.
AUTOMATISCHE IP EINRICHTEN
Gehen Sie im Einstellungsmenü auf das Untermenü „SET 4
AUTO IP“ und drücken Sie die Taste. Das Display zeigt
„AUTO IP OFF“ und das Wort „OFF“ blinkt. Verwenden Sie die
Pfeiltasten und , um die automatische IP-Funktion
ein- oder auszuschalten. Um diese zu aktivieren, wählen Sie
„AUTO IP ON“ und drücken Sie die Taste. Das Display zeigt
nun „CODE EINGEBEN“. Geben Sie mit den Zifferntasten die
Sonderdienstnummer, die Kartennummer und das Passwort ein,
die Sie vom IP-Dienst Ihres Telekommunikationsanbieters
erhalten haben. Wenn Sie bei der Eingabe der oben genannten
Codes versehentlich die falsche Taste drücken, können Sie auf
die Löschtaste drücken, um eine falsche Ziffer zu löschen.
Drücken Sie die Taste, um jeden eingegebenen Code zu
bestätigen. Wenn Sie eine automatische IP-Nummer einstellen,
wählt Ihr Telefon automatisch diese Nummer für Sie,
vorausgesetzt, die von Ihnen gewählte Telefonnummer beginnt
mit „0“.
Nach dem Einstellen der automatischen IP-Zahl und der
entsprechenden automatischen IP-Nummer im Menü wird beim
Abheben des Telefons zur manuellen Wahl oder Vorwahl oder bei

eingehenden und ausgehenden Anrufen, wenn die erste Nummer
"0" ist, fügt das Telefon die Nummer automatisch vor der Nummer
hinzu. Stellen Sie die IP-Nummer ein.
EINSTELLUNG DES WECKERS
Gehen Sie im Einstellungsmenü zum Untermenü „SET 5
ALERT“ und drücken Sie die Taste. Das Display zeigt „00 -
00 AUS“. Stellen Sie mit den Pfeiltasten und die
Weckzeit ein, indem Sie jede Ziffer für die jeweilige Stunde und
Minute einzeln auswählen und jeweils mit der Taste
bestätigen. Um den Alarm zu aktivieren, wechseln Sie mit den
Pfeiltasten und von „OFF“ auf „ON“ und drücken
Sie zur Bestätigung die Taste.
Wenn die Weckfunktion eingeschaltet ist, ertönt sie 1 Minute
lang pünktlich. Drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste, einschließlich
der Taste, neben Sie den Hörer eine Sekunde von der
Gabel und legen Sie ihn wieder auf, um den Alarm zu stoppen
und in den aufgelegten Zustand zurückzukehren.
Wenn der Hörer abgehoben ist, es klingelt oder ein Anruf
verpasst wird (innerhalb von 6 Sekunden, nachdem das

Frankreich, 600 für die USA oder 1000, falls zutreffend. Mit den
Pfeiltasten und können Sie die entsprechende
Gruppe auswählen und mit der Taste bestätigen.
RUFTONLAUTSTÄRKE EINSTELLEN
Mit der Umschalttaste auf der Rückseite des Telefons können Sie
die Lautstärke des Klingeltons je nach Wunsch entweder auf „Hi“ für
laut, „Lo“ für leise oder „O“ auf stumm einstellen.
LCD HELLIGKEIT ANPASSEN
Drücken Sie die Taste, um den Kontrast auf dem Display zu
erhöhen oder zu verringern. Es stehen 5 Intensitätsstufen zur
Auswahl. Sie gelangen von einer Ebene zur nächsten, indem Sie
einmal auf die Taste drücken. Auf Stufe 5 verringert ein
einmaliges Drücken der Taste die Intensität zurück auf Stufe 4.
6- Anrufliste
Eingehende Anrufe
Das Telefon klingelt bei jedem eingehenden Anruf.
Wenn Sie die Anrufer-ID-Dienste Ihres Anbieters abonniert haben,
wird die Nummer des Anrufers in der unteren Zeile des Displays
angezeigt.
Wenn ein eingehender Anruf nicht entgegengenommen wird, wird
die Nummer des Anrufers gespeichert und das Wort „NEU“ auf der
linken Seite des Displays angezeigt.

Wenn dieselbe Nummer zweimal oder öfter angerufen hat,
erscheint das Wort „REPEAT“ auf der linken Seite des Displays.
Wenn es eine bestehende Nummer gibt, erscheint das Zeichen
„duplicate“. Wenn die Nummer des Anrufers zurückgehalten wird,
zeigt das LCD "----P----" an. Wenn die Nummer des Anrufers
außerhalb des Bereichs liegt, wird "----O----" angezeigt. Wenn das
Nummernsignal des Anrufers falsch ist, wird "----E----" angezeigt.
Nach Erhalt eines neuen Anrufs zeigt das Telefon die Nummer
und Uhrzeit des neuen Anrufers an, bis der Anruf
entgegengenommen oder eine Taste gedrückt wird.
Falls der Speicher des Telefons voll ist, ersetzt die Nummer des
letzten Anrufers
immer die älteste Nummer, es sei denn, diese Nummer ist als VIP-
Nummer gespeichert.
EINGEGANGENE ANRUFE ÜBERPRÜFEN UND
ZURÜCKRUFEN
Drücken Sie bei aufgelegtem Hörer die Abwärtspfeiltaste ,
um die Liste der letzten eingegangenen Anrufe anzuzeigen
(maximal 61 Anrufe). Verwenden Sie die Pfeiltasten oder
, um die Nummern einzeln anzuzeigen. Sie können die
Taste oder die Taste drücken oder den Hörer abnehmen, um
die auf dem Display angezeigte Nummer zu wählen.
Wenn Sie bei internationalen Anrufen die Taste zweimal
drücken, fügt das Telefon automatisch eine „0“ vor die ersten
Ziffern der Nummer ein.

Hinweis: Wenn die Nummer des Anrufers 16 Ziffern
überschreitet, dann werden nur die letzten 16 Ziffern auf dem
Display angezeigt.
AUSGEHENDE ANRUFE ÜBERPRÜFEN
Drücken Sie bei aufgelegtem Hörer die Taste „OUT“, um die
Liste der letzten 12 gewählten Nummern sowie die
Gesprächsdauer für jede Nummer anzuzeigen. Drücken Sie
jedes Mal die „OUT“-Taste, wenn Sie die gewählte Nummer vor
der auf dem Display angezeigten Nummer sehen möchten. Sie
können die Taste oder die Taste drücken oder den Hörer
abnehmen, um die auf dem Display angezeigte Nummer zu
wählen.
7- BENUTZUNG DES TELEFONS
Wenn Sie Hörgeräte tragen, stellen Sie
Ihr Hörgerät auf die „T“-Einstellung.
VERWENDUND DER VORWAHLFUNKTION
Wählen Sie bei aufgelegtem Hörer die Nummer, die Sie anrufen
möchten, und drücken Sie dann die Taste , die Taste oder
nehmen Sie den Hörer ab, um zu wählen. Falls Sie sich beim Wählen
der Nummer vertippen, wird durch Drücken der Löschtaste die
zuletzt eingegebene Ziffer gelöscht.
ABFRAGE EINGEHENDER ANRUFE UND AUSGEHENDER ANRUFE
Nach dem Abheben können Sie die Tasten und verwenden,
um eingehende Anrufe zu überprüfen, oder die Taste (eine
Richtung) verwenden, um ausgehende Anrufe zu überprüfen.

ANRUFZEITEN
Nach dem Wählen bei abgehobenem Hörer gibt das Telefon automatisch
die Anrufzeit ein, und eine manuelle Zeitmessung ist nicht zulässig.
STUMMSCHALTEFUNKTION UND KLINGELTON
STUMMSCHALTUNG
A. Während Sie mit jemandem sprechen, können Sie die Taste
„MUTE“ drücken, um die Stummschaltung zu aktivieren, begleitet von
der Anzeigeleuchte, drücken Sie die Taste „MUTE“ erneut, die
Anzeigeleuchte ist aus, die Stummschaltung ist aufgehoben und Sie
können den Anruf fortsetzen (manuell und mit Freisprechfunktion ist im
stummgeschalteten Zustand möglich).
B. Bei Klingelton können Sie die Taste [MUTE] drücken, der Klingelton
wird dann für diesen Anruf stummgeschaltet und der nächste Anruf
klingelt wieder normal.
BOOST-FUNKTION
Wenn während eines Gesprächs die Stimme des Anrufers aus
dem Mobilteil nicht laut genug ist, um sie deutlich zu hören,
können Sie die Taste drücken, um die Lautstärke um 10
Dezibel zu erhöhen.
VIP-NUMMERN EINRICHTEN
Drücken Sie bei aufgelegtem Hörer die Abwärtspfeiltaste ,
um die Liste der letzten 61 eingehenden Anrufe anzuzeigen.
Verwenden Sie die Pfeiltasten oder , um die
Nummern einzeln anzuzeigen. Drücken Sie die Taste , um die
auf dem Display angezeigte Nummer als VIP-Nummer zu
registrieren. Neben der Nummer wird das Symbol sichtbar.

Als VIP-Nummern registrierte Nummern können nicht einzeln
aus der Liste der letzten 61 eingehenden Anrufe gelöscht
werden. Die einzige Möglichkeit, sie zu löschen, besteht darin,
alle Nummern auf einmal aus der Liste zu löschen, indem Sie
die Löschtaste drei Sekunden lang gedrückt halten.
Wenn die Liste der letzten eingegangenen Anrufe bereits 61
Einträge umfasst und ein neuer Anruf eintrifft, löscht das Telefon die
älteste Nicht-VIP-Nummer aus der Liste, um Platz für den neuen
Eintrag zu schaffen. Falls alle 61 Einträge VIP-Nummern sind, wird
die älteste VIP-Nummer gelöscht.
Bei einem eingehenden Anruf von einer VIP-Nummer wird das
Symbol auf dem Display neben der Nummer des Anrufers
angezeigt. Das Telefon verwendet auch einen anderen Klingelton
für Anrufe von VIP-Nummern.
INTELLIGENTE HINTERGRUNDBELEUCHTUNGSFUNKTION
Wenn das Telefon mit 3 AA-Batterien ausgestattet ist,
schaltet sich automatisch die Hintergrundbeleuchtung ein,
wenn man auf One-Touch drückt, der Hörer abgehoben
wird, das Telefon klingelt, ein Anruf eingeht oder das
Telefon bedient wird, und schaltet sich automatisch nach 6
Sekunden Gebrauch aus.
8- ONE-TOUCH-SPEICHERTASTE
SPEICHERTASTE EINRICHTEN
Um eine Nummer auf einer der Speichertasten zu speichern, wählen
Sie bei aufgelegtem Hörer die Nummer, die Sie speichern möchten,
und drücken Sie die Taste. Das Display zeigt „Speichern

unter“ an. Sie haben dann 3 Sekunden Zeit, um zu wählen, auf
welcher der drei Speichertasten Sie die Nummer speichern möchten.
Drücken Sie entweder M1, M2 oder M3, um Ihre Wahl zu treffen.
Wenn Sie keine Taste drücken, kehrt das Telefon in den Ruhemodus
zurück. Sie können auch eine Nummer aus den Listen der letzten
eingehenden und ausgehenden Anrufe auswählen.
Drücken Sie die Taste, um die auf dem Display angezeigte
Nummer zu speichern, und folgen Sie dann den obigen
Anweisungen.
ANRUF MIT SPEICHERTASTE TÄTIGEN
Nehmen Sie den Hörer ab oder drücken Sie die Taste und
drücken Sie dann die Speichertaste (M1-M2 oder M3), unter der die
Nummer gespeichert ist, die Sie anrufen möchten. Das Telefon
wählt die Nummer automatisch.
Sie können auch die Taste drücken, um die zuletzt gewählte
Nummer anzuwählen.
9- FEHLERSUCHE
Keine Stimme
Überprüfen Sie, ob das Mobilteil richtig an der Basis angeschlossen
ist und stellen Sie sicher, dass das Telefonkabel nicht beschädigt
ist.
Sie können nur empfangen
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Mikrofonöffnung nicht blockiert ist
Batterie rostet oder leckt
Entfernen Sie den Rost und wischen Sie dann die auslaufende
Flüssigkeit ab.
Geräusche

Entfernen Sie elektronische Geräte in der Nähe des Dallas 20
Es klingelt einmal, dann wird die Verbindung bei Eingang eines
Anrufs getrennt.
Überprüfen Sie, ob sich der Konnektor in einer feuchten Umgebung
befindet.
Überprüfen Sie, ob zu viele Verlängerungen zusammen verwendet
werden oder die Qualität der Verlängerungen nicht ausreichend ist
(tauschen Sie schlechte Verlängerungen aus).
Erkundigen Sie sich bei Ihrem Netzanbieter, ob Ihre Voicemail
eventuell nach einem Klingelton anspringt.
LCD wird dunkel
Passen Sie den LCD-Kontrast an, wenn das LCD immer noch
dunkel ist, tauschen Sie die Batterie aus.
Die meisten Funktionen funktionieren nicht
Überprüfen Sie, ob sich die Batterien in einem schwachen
Batteriezustand befinden. (tauschen Sie die Batterie aus.) Die
Batterien sind im Normalzustand (nehmen Sie die Batterien heraus,
ziehen Sie das Leitungskabel und setzen Sie nach 10 Minuten alles
wieder ein)
