due to particles of your food splashing out of the feed chute.
• To avoid overheating, with soft ingredients do not operate the motor
continuously for more than 15 minutes at a time. Allow the motor to
rest for 10 minutes before continuing. Do not apply too much pressure
on the pusher, to avoid overheating and that the motor gets stuck. If
the motor gets stuck, immediately switch OFF (touching ON/OFF but-
ton) and unplug the appliance. Then clean the filter basket according
to the instructions in chapter ‘Care and Cleaning’.
• Before operation, always ensure that there are no foreign objects in
the feed chute or filter basket and the locking arms are closed pro-
perly. Ensure that the motor base will not tilt or wobble on the table
or counter.
• Only use the appliance for processing edible food and remove inedi-
ble parts and all packages before processing. Hard ingredients (e.g.
dry corn kernels, nuts, seeds) may not be processed as they would
damage the blades. Do not overfill the feed chute. If the blades get
stuck or agitate noticeably slow, or the pulp accumulates excessively
in the filter basket, immediately stop operation (touch ON/OFF but-
ton), unplug the appliance and remove any obstacles in the filter bas-
ket (see: ‘Care and Cleaning’). Reduce the pressure on your food and
reduce the amount of ingredients in the feed chute.
• Do not process hot or frozen food. Always leave your food reach
room temperature before filling it in.
• Always wipe off spilled liquids immediately. If liquids run out or are
spilled on the motor base, immediately unplug the appliance.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended, when it is connected to the
power supply. Always unplug the appliance, before assembling,
disassembling, moving, or cleaning the appliance, or when the appli-
ance is not in use. Always hold the housing at both sides near the
bottom for moving the appliance. Do not hold the appliance at the
power cord or any removable parts for moving the appliance. Do not
place any hard and/or heavy objects on the appliance or any part
or accessory of it.
