Preparing your Car Seat for use
Before using your new high back booster car seat it is important to understand fully how to
install your car seat properly, secure your child correctly and familiarize yourself with the
features and functions of the seat.
Please take the time to read and understand these instructions fully. This is best done with
the seat in front of you.
Please always read the safety warnings before using the seat in your vehicle.

Installation of your Car Seat
The seat can be used for a child of 3 - 4 years up to approximately 12 years (15 to 36 kg)
securing the child with the adult seat belt.
Note that your car seat is designed to fit only with a 3 point lap and diagonal seat belt and
must not at any time be fitted using only a 2 point lap belt (1).
Important! Before installing the car seat check that the buckle of the adult seat belt is not
positioned so that it reaches under the armrest of the car seat. If this is the case, try another
seat or contact our customer service department for advice.
Only refer to this section if your car seat is supplied with the back rest separated from the base.
At the base end of the backrest you will find two projecting tabs. Align and engage both tabs
with the openings found at the rear of the seat base (3), and then raise the back up vertically (4)
as the tabs insert into the openings.
When raising the backrest to vertical, ensure that no parts of the seat cover etc can be trapped
between the backrest and the seat base.
Once the back rest is fully vertical, pull the backrest forward whilst at the same time pressing
firmly downwards by pushing on the top of the backrest until you hear and feel a click, make
sure the tabs are fully inserted into the openings and the back rest feels secure and stable (5).
