Electrical safety
Always check that the mains voltage corres-
ponds to the value on the model plate.
The machine has double insulation in accordan-
ce with EN 50144; an earth wire is therefore not
required..
When replacing leads or plugs
Always immediately dispose of old leads or plugs as soon
as they have been replaced by new ones. It is dangerous
to put a loose plug into a socket.
When using extension cables
Only use an approved extension cable which is suitable
for the voltage of the machine. The conductors must have
a surface area of at least 1.5 mm
2
. If the extension cable is
on a reel, unroll it completely.

The Ferm FCS-180 Combisander is a versatile machine
with which you can easily sand large surfaces, corners
and even round or small parts. The Combisander can be
used to sand wooden and metal surfaces.
In addition the machine is delivered with a scraper which
can be used to easily remove loose paint layers and re-
mains of glue from the area to be sanded.
