• Slide the locking sleeve (9, Fig. A) to the rear, and insert the bit into the chuck opening.
Ensure that the keyway in the bit is seated properly in the chuck, by carefully turning the bit
until it clicks into place. Release the locking sleeve.
• To remove the bit, slide and hold the locking sleeve to the rear.
Setting depth gauge

• Loosen the screw (11, Fig. A).
• Insert the depth gauge ruler through the hole in the auxiliary handgrip.
• Slide the ruler to the desired depth.
• Retighten the screw firmly.

1 = Demolition hammer/chisel
2 = Rotary hammer drill
3 = Drilling
Switching On/Off
• To start the drill, squeeze the trigger.
• To stop the drill, release the trigger.

Whenever you need to drill in steel, wood and plastic, we recommend the use of the adjustable
chuck, and cylindrical drill bits. Be sure to set the function selector switch to the third position.
4. MAINTENANCE
Take care that the machine is not connected to power whenever maintenance
work on the mechanical parts is taking place.
Ferm machines are designed to function problem-free for a long period with a minimum of
maintenance. Through regular cleaning and correct treatment, you help assure a long working
life for your machine.
Defects
The machine should be regularly inspected for the following possible defects, and repaired if
necessary.
• Damage to power cord
• Broken on/off trigger assembly.
• Short circuiting.

• Skyd låsemanchetten (9, Fig. A) tilbage og sæt boret ind i patronens åbning. Sørg for at
kilegangen i boret sidder rigtigt i patronen ved omhyggeligt at dreje boret, indtil det klikker
på plads. Løsn låsemanchetten.
• Boret tages ud ved at skyde låsemanchetten tilbage og holde den.

• Løsn skruen (11, Fig. A).
• Indsæt dybdemålerens lineal gennem hullet i hjælpehåndtaget.
• Skyd linealen ind til den ønskede dybde.
• Stram skruen godt fast igen.

• Klem på tænd/sluk-kontakten for at starte boret.
• Slip tænd/sluk-kontakten for at standse boret.

Når du skal bore i stål, træ og plastic, anbefaler vi at bruge den indstillelige borepatron, og
cylinderformede bor. Sørg for at sætte kontakten til funktionsvalg i tredje position.
4. VEDLIGEHOLDELSE
Sørg for, at maskinen ikke er sluttet til strømmen, når der udføres vedligeholdelse
på de mekaniske dele.
Ferm-maskiner er beregnet til at fungere uden problemer i lang tid med et minimum af
vedligeholdelse. Med regelmæssig rengøring og korrekt behandling hjælper du med til at
sørge for, at din maskine får et langt arbejdsliv.
Fejlfunktioner
Maskinen bør med regelmæssige mellemrum efterses for følgende mulige fejl og om
nødvendigt repareres.
