3. Undercarriage
The remaining additional load must always be greater
than or equal to the minimum loading capacity ; this
must be taken into account when determining the
conguration of the vehicle.
Removing some or all of the equipment and liquids
included in the tables in Chapter 13.4 (Basic equip-
ment) will increase the payload/additional load by the
corresponding amount.
If you are not sure whether you have overloaded the
vehicle, weigh your vehicle on a public vehicle scale.
4. Additional equipment / optional extras
Mass of the equipment that was assembled by the manufacturer in
or on the caravan in addition to the standard equipment. These op-
tional extras will be shown in the actual mass of the vehicle if they
are not part of the standard scope of equipment and Fendt-Caravan
has been responsible for assembling or enclosing them.
5. Actual mass
The total of the mass in running order and the special or additional
equipment installed or included at the factory.
6. Minimum loading capacity
The loading capacity must be equal at least to the formula:
10 x (n + L), whereby:
n = highest number of sleeping spaces
L = total length of the superstructure
Overloading can lead to malfunction or even tire blow-
out!
This presents the danger of the vehicle spinning out of
control, which endangers you as well as other drivers
and pedestrians.
2. Mass in running order
The mass in running order corresponds to the weight of the empty
vehicle including all standard equipment installed at the factory plus
the basic equipment such as gas and water (driving ll level).
3. Basic equipment
The basic equipment consists of all objects and uids which are
necessary for the safe and proper use of the vehicle.
These include
the masses for gas and water (driving ll level).
