Vor dem Gebrauch
• Bitte lesen Sie alle im folgenden aufgeführten Informationen aufmerksam durch. Sie
geben wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch, die Sicherheit sowie die Wartung/Pflege
des Gerätes. Bewahren Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig auf und geben Sie
diese ggf. an Nachbesitzer weiter.
• FAKIR-Geräte entsprechen den anerkannten Regeln der Technik und dem aktuellen
Gerätesicherheitsgesetz.
• Dieses Gerät erfüllt die Anforderungen der EG-Richtlinien “89/336/EWG
Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit" und “73/23/EWG Niederspannungsrichtlinie".
Hierfür trägt das Gerät auf dem Typenschild die CE-Kennzeichnung.
• FAKIR behält sich Konstruktions- und Ausstattungsänderungen vor.
Allgemeine Hinweise
• Das Gerät nur dann anschließen, wenn die auf dem Typenschild angegebene
Spannung mit der Netzspannung übereinstimmt.
• Die Steckdose muss über einen 16 A-Haushalts-Sicherungsautomaten abgesichert
sein.
• Das Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen, wenn erkennbare Schäden ( Risse / Brüche ) vor-
handen sind, die Anschlussleitung defekt ist oder Verdacht auf einen Defekt (z.B. nach
einem Sturz) besteht.
• Geräteoberflächen, die zur Wärmeabgabe dienen, können über 60°C warm werden.
• Gerät nur in stehender Position benutzen.
• Gerät darf nicht in Fahrzeuge eingebaut und dort betrieben werden.
• Gerät ist nicht geeignet zum Anschluss an festverlegte Leitungen.
• Heizgeräte sollten vor jeder Heizperiode in einer Fakir-Kundendienst-Werkstatt gerei-
nigt und überprüft werden.
• Die Anschlussleitung darf nur von einer autorisierten Fakir-Kundendienst-Werkstatt
ersetzt werden.
• Reparaturen dürfen nur von Fachkräften (z.B. Fakir-Kundendienst ) ausgeführt wer-
den. Dabei dürfen nur Original-Fakir-Ersatzteile eingesetzt werden.
• Nicht fachgerecht reparierte Geräte stellen eine Gefahr für den Benutzer dar.
• Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, unsachgemäß bedient oder nicht fachgerecht repa-
riert, kann keine Haftung für eventuelle Schäden übernommen werden.
• Das Gerät bedarf keiner aufwendigen Wartung und Pflege.

Sicherheits-Hinweise
• Nach dem Gebrauch Gerät ausschalten, Netzstecker ziehen, abkühlen lassen und
Anschlussleitung aufwickeln. Bitte bewahren Sie das Gerät staubgeschützt auf.
• Kindern die Benutzung von Heizgeräten nur unter Aufsicht gestatten.
•V
orsicht: Gerät darf nicht in Badezimmer, Dusch- oder Waschräumen benutzt werden.
• Das Gerät so aufstellen, dass der Abstand zu benachbarten Gegenständen mindes-
tens 50 cm beträgt und brennbare Gegenstände sich nicht entzünden können.
• Gerät darf nicht durch Handtücher, Gardinen oder dergleichen abgedeckt werden, da
bei Abdeckung Überhitzungsgefahr besteht.
• Den Stecker nie über die Anschlussleitung aus der Steckdose ziehen.
• Die Anschlussleitung nicht über scharfe Kanten ziehen oder einklemmen.
• Beim Betrieb des Gerätes muss die Anschlussleitung vom Kabelhalter abgewickelt
sein und darf nicht auf dem Gerät liegen.
• Keine beschädigten Verlängerungsleitungen verwenden.
• Das Gerät nicht im Freien aufbewahren.
• Netzstecker ziehen und das Gerät nur trocken oder mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch rei-
nigen. Dabei dürfen die stromführenden Teile (Schalter, Stecker, Heizung etc.) nicht
mit Wasser in Berührung kommen.
Entsorgungs-Hinweise
• Bitte werfen Sie die Verpackung und später das ausgediente Gerät nicht einfach weg,
sondern entsorgen Sie beides gemäß den von Ihrer Stadt-/Gemeindeverwaltung oder
vom zuständigen Entsorgungsunternehmen aufgestellten Richtlinien.
• Das Verpackungsmaterial sortenrein in die dafür vorgesehenen Sammelbehälter
geben, damit es der Wiederverwendung zugeführt werden kann.
• Das ausgediente Gerät sofort unbrauchbar machen und bei der dafür vorgesehenen
Sammelstelle abgeben.

Der Konvektor 2002 CT / 2002 CTF kann als Stand- und als Wandmodell eingesetzt wer-
den.
Stand-Modell:
Die beiden Standfüße mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben an der Geräte-Unterseite links
und rechts montieren. Darauf achten, dass die Führungslasche und die beiden
Führungsnasen am Standfuß passgenau in die entsprechenden Öffnungen im
Konvektorgehäuse eingesetzt werden.
Wand-Modell:
Wählen Sie zur Befestigung der Wandhalterungen einen Platz nahe (seitlich) einer
Steckdose - nicht im Freien oder in feuchten Räumen - und beachten Sie die angege-
benen Mindestabstände [F] zur Wand, Decke und / oder Boden (siehe Seite 3).
Zur Montage der Wandhalterungen halten Sie diese - gemäß Skizze auf Seite 2 - an die
vorgesehene Stelle an die Wand und übertragen bzw. markieren die Befestigungslöcher
mit einem spitzen Bleistift. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Halterungen senkrecht stehen und
keine elektrischen Leitungen oder Rohre angebohrt werden können.
Die beiden Wandhalter mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben und Dübeln montieren.
Die beiden Standfüße entfernen ( und aufbewahren ! ), sofern Sie vorher das Gerät als
Stand-Modell eingesetzt haben und den Konvektor in die Wandhalter einhängen, bis er
hörbar einrastet.
Zum Abnehmen des Konvektors: das Gerät nach oben aus den Halterungen ziehen.
Netzstecker in die Steckdose stecken. Thermostatknopf nach rechts ( im Uhrzeigersinn )
bis zum Anschlag drehen und mit dem Betriebsartenschalter einschalten.

Mit dem Zuschalten des Turbo-Gebläses wird die Raumlufttemperatur betont schnell und
gleichmäßig aufgeheizt.
Raumthermostat
Mit dem Thermostatknopf wird die Wärmeabgabe des Gerätes stufenlos vorgewählt :
Position MIN. = schwach / Frostschutz-Einstellung
Position MAX. = stark
Thermostknopf bis zum Anschlag nach rechts ( im Uhrzeigrsinn ) drehen. Sobald die
gewünschte Raumtemperatur erreicht ist, Thermostatknopf langsam nach links ( entge-
gen dem Uhrzeigersinn ) drehen, bis die Heizung abschaltet. Sinkt die Raumtemperatur,
so schaltet sich die Heizung selbstätig wieder ein.

Frostschutz-Einstellung
Um zu vermeiden, daß die Raumtemperatur unter +5°C absinkt ( z.B. bei längerer
Abwesenheit ), ist der Betriebsartenschalter auf Position [
−−
] und der Thermostatknopf auf
das Frostschutzsymbol MIN zu stellen. Das Gerät schaltet sich bei einer Raumtempera-
tur von ca. +5°C automatisch ein und bei ca. +7°C wieder aus. So können Frostschäden
verhindert werden.
Übertemperatursicherung
Bei Überhitzung des Gerätes durch ungenügende Luftzirkulation schaltet die eingebaute
Übertemperatursicherung die Heizung automatisch ab. Das Turbo-Gebläse - falls zuvor
eingeschaltet - bleibt weiterhin in Betrieb und unterstützt die Abkühlung. Nach ausrei-
chender Abkühlung des Gerätes schaltet die Übertemperatursicherung die Heizung
selbstätig wieder ein.

Gerät ausschalten und Netzstecker ziehen. Gerät abkühlen lassen und Anschlußleitung
aufwickeln. Gerät staubgeschützt aufbewahren.
Wartung / Pflege
Das Gerät bedarf keiner aufwendigen Wartung und Pflege. Das Gerät nur trocken oder
mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen. Dabei dürfen die stromführenden Teile ( Schalter,
Stecker, Heizung etc. ) nicht mit Wasser in Berührung kommen.
Störungen
Sollte das Gerät einmal nicht zufriedenstellend arbeiten ( keine Wärmeabgabe, unge-
wöhnliche Geräusche oder Ausfall ), lassen Sie es vom Fakir-Kundendienst überprüfen
bzw. reparieren. Das gilt besonders für den Fall, wenn sich das Gerät trotz
sachgemäßem Einsatz wiederholt ausschaltet.

Before using the appliance
• Please read the information below with care. This gives important guidance on the
use, safety and maintenance/care of the appliance. Keep this instruction booklet in a
safe place, and if appropriate, pass it on to the next owner.
• FAKIR appliances comply with the recognised technological standards and current
safety regulations.
• This appliance meets the requirements of EU guidelines 89/336/EU "Electromagnetic
compatibility" and 73/23/EU "Low voltage guideline". This is indicated by the CE mark
on the rating plate.
• FAKIR reserves the right to alter designs and specifications without notice.
General instructions
• Do not connect the appliance to the mains power socket if the voltage given on the
rating plate differs from the mains voltage.
• The power socket must be protected by a domestic 16 A automatic circuit-breaker.
• Do not use the appliance in case of any evidence of damage (cracks / fractures), if the
connecting lead is defective, or if internal damage is suspected (e.g. after being drop-
ped).
• Appliance surface can get heated up over 60°C.
• Please only use the appliance in vertical position.
• The appliance must not be fitted and operated into a vehicle.
• Appliance is not suitable for connection to fixed wiring systems.
• Heaters should be cleaned and inspected in a Fakir serviceshop before each heating
season.
• The power supply cord has to be replaced by an authorized Fakir After Sales Service
only.
• Repairs should be carried out only by an authorized Fakir service center (see guaran-
tee card for list of addresses). Incorrect repairs may expose the user to electrical dan-
ger.
• Fakir will not accept any liability for damage or injury if the appliance is used other than
for its intended purpose or is improperly operated or inexpertly repaired and maintai-
ned.
• The appliance does not need special maintenance or care.

Safety precautions
• After use, please disconnect appliance, pull out mains plug, let appliance cool down
and wind up cable. Please store appliance protected from dust.
• Do not let children use electrical appliances unsupervised.
• Caution: Never use the appliance in the bathroom, shower and washroom.
• Heater to be erected so that there is a clearance of 50 cm between the top grill and
other item of furniture or fitting. Always position the appliance so that it cannot ignite
items that can burn.
• Appliance must not be covered with towels, curtains or similar items because cover-
ing up might cause overheating. Nothing must hinder inflow of fresh air or outflow of
heated air.
• Do not pull out the plug from the power supply socket by pulling on the power supply
cord.
• Do not pull the power supply cord over sharp edges or allow it to become jammed.
• During use of the appliance the power supply cord must be unwound from the cord
holder.
• The power supply cord must not lie on the appliance when in use.
• Do not use damaged extension leads.
• Do not store the appliance in the open air or in the car or permit it to be exposed to
any other source of heat.
• Pull out the plug from the power supply socket before cleaning the appliance and use
only a dry or slightly moist cloth. Take care to prevent any live components (switch,
plug, heating element etc.) from coming into contact with water.
Disposal instructions
• Please dispose of the packaging materials and, eventually, the appliance itself in
accordance with the official regulations or guidelines which apply.
• If facilities are available in your locality for the recycling of packaging materials, plea-
se make use of these accordingly.
• When finally disposing of the appliance itself, please render it unserviceable before
taking it to the authorized place of disposal.

The convector 2002 CT and 2002 CTFcan be used a standing or wall-mounted model.
Stand model:
Fit the two stands with the supplied screws to the bottom of the unit on the left and right.
Take care that the guide catch and the two guide lugs on the stand are inserted accura-
tely in the corresponding openings in the convector housing.
Wall-mounted model:
For mounting the wall holders select a place close (on the side) to a wall outlet – not in
the open or in damp rooms – and observe the minimum distance [F] to the wall, ceiling
and/or floor stated in the installation sketch (see page 3).
To install the wall holders hold these – according to the sketch on page 2 – at the inten-
ded place against the wall and transfer or mark the mounting holes with a pointed pencil.
Take care that the holders stand vertically and no electric cables or pipes can be drilled
though.
Fit the two wall holders with the supplied screws and wall plugs.
Remove the two stands (and keep them !), if you have previously used the unit as a stand
model and hook the convector in the wall holder until is audibly snaps into place.
Remove the convector: for this purpose pull the unit upwards out from the holders.
Plug the mains plug in the wall outlet. Turn the thermostat knob to the right (clockwise)
up to the stop and switch on with the operating mode switch:

When the turbo blower is switched on, the room air is heated up quite quickly and uni-
formly.
Room thermostat
The heat intensity can be selected with a gliding movement by using the thermostat:
Position MIN. = lowest temperature / frost guard setting
Position MAX. = highest temperature
Turn the thermostat switch as far as possible in a clockwise direction. When the room rea-
ches the required temperature, then turn the thermostat in an anticlockwise direction, until
the appliance turns off. Should the room temperature reduce to below the required level
then the appliance will turn on again automatically.

Frost guard setting
In order to prevent the room temperature from falling below + 5°C (e.g. during a longer
absence), set the mode switch to position [
−−
] and the room thermostat to the frost guard
symbol MIN. The appliance switches on automatically at + 5°C and off again at about
+7°C. This prevents damage from frost.
Overheating cut out
If the unit is overheated because of inadequate air circulation, the built-in overheating cut
out switches the heater off automatically. The turbo blower continues to run if it was swit-
ched on previously and helps to cool the unit down. After the unit has cooled down suffi-
ciently, the overheating cut out switches the heater back on automatically. Disconnect
appliance and pull out mains plug. Let appliance cool down and wind up cable. Store
appliance protected from dust.

Maintenance / Care
The appliance does not need special maintenance or care. When cleaning the applian-
ce, use only a dry of slightly moistened cloth. Take care to prevent any live components
(switch, plug, heating element, etc.) from coming into contact with water.
Faults
Should the appliance fail to operate satisfactorily (no heat emitted, unusual noises or
complete failure) have it checked and if necessary repaired by Fakir’s after-sales servi-
ce. This also applies if the appliance repeatedly cuts out in spite of being used correctly.

remarques ainsi que des précieux conseils quant à la sécurité, l'emploi, et l'entretien
de votre appareil. Conservez le présent mode d'emploi dans un endroit où vous sau-

• Les appareils FAKIR répondent aux règles usuelles de la technique moderne ainsi
qu'aux prescriptions légales les plus récentes.
• Le présent appareil satisfait aux prescriptions des directives CEE 73/23 ‘Appareils
basse tension’ et CEE 89/336 ‘Compatibilité électromagnétique’. Il a été pour cela
homologué et habilité à porter sur sa plaquette signalétique les labels afférents
décernés par la Communauté Européenne.
• FAKIR se réserve tous droits de modifications, en particulier en ce qui concerne les
caractéristiques techniques et l'étendue des équipements.
Conformité d'emploi
• S’assurer que la tension secteur corresponde bien à celle supportée par l’appareil,
telle qu’indiquée par la plaquette signalétique.
• Le circuit sur lequel l’appareil sera branché doit disposer d’un disjoncteur individuel
supportant au moins 16 ampères.
• Ne pas tenter d’utiliser un appareil dont l’enveloppe présenterait des endommage-
ments visibles (bris ou fissures), dont le cordon d’alimentation serait défectueux, dont
le bon fonctionnement vous paraîtrait douteux (à la suite d’une chute, par exemple).
• Les surfaces servant á la dissipation de la chaleur peuvent atteindre une température
de 60°C. Ne pas couvrir l´appareil.
• Appareils de chauffage doivent être utilisés seulement en position verticale.
• L´appareil ne doit pas étre installé et opéré dans des véhicules.
• L´appareil ne convient pas á la connexion aux cábles électriques installés fermement.
• Les appareils de chauffage Fakir devraient étre nettoyés et contrólés avant chaque
période de chauffage dans un atelier du service aprés vente Fakir.
• Le cáble d´amenée doit seulement étre remplacé par une Station S.A.V. Fakir agrée.
• Les réparations devraient être effectuées dans un atelier du service aprés-vente Fakir
(adresses, voir bon de garantie). Des réparations non conformes peuvent présenter
des risques pour l´utilisateur.
• L´appareil ne doit être utilisé qu´aux fins pour lesquelles il a été concu. Toute autre uti-
lisation, ou un mauvais emploi, ou une réparation effectuée par des personnes non
agréées, entraînent la perte de la garantie et dégagent la responsabilité du construc-
teur quant aux dommages résultant éventuellement d'un emploi abusif ou non confor-
me.
• L'appareil ne nécessite pas de service ou soin spéciaux.

Remarques relatives á la sécurité
• Après l´emploi: Eteindre l´appareil, tirer la fiche de prise de courant, laisser l´appareil
refroidir et enrouler le cáble. Toujours protéger l´appareil contre l´intrusion de pous-
siéres.
• Ne permettre l’utilisation d’appareils électriques aux enfants que sous surveillance.
• Ne pas utiliser l´appareil dans la salle de bain, dans la douche et dans le lavabo.
• La distance minimum entre la sortie d´air et d´autres objets doit etre de 50 cm. Placer
l´appareil de telle sorte que des objets inflammables se trouvent á une distance ou ils
ne peuvent pas s´enflammer.
• L´appareil ne doit pas étre recouvert par des serviettes, rideaux ou autres car il peut
en résulter un danger de surchauffe. L´aspiration de l´air frais et l´evacuation de l´air
chaud ne doivent pas étre entravées.
• Ne jamais débrancher la prise de courant en tirant sur le cáble d´alimentation !
• Dérouler le câble de telle sorte qu'il ne repose pas sur des arêtes contondantes, ni ne
soit emmêlé ou coincé.
• Si l´appareil est en service le cáble doit étre déroulé de l´enrouleur.
• En service, le cáble d´alimentation ne doit pas étre posé sur l´appareil.
• Ne jamais utiliser de rallonges défectueuses !
• Ne jamais entreposer l´appareil á l´extérieur !
• Ne nettoyer l´appareil qu´avec un tissu sec ou á peine humide! Les pieces conductri-
ces d´électricité (interrupteur, prise, spirale chauffante etc.) ne doivent jamais entrer
en contact avec de l´eau!
Comment se débarrasser d'un appareil devenu inutilisable
• Tenir compte, pour se débarrasser du matériau d'emballage de l’appareil, ainsi que de
l'appareil lui-même, celui-ci une fois devenu inutilisable, des prescriptions locales rela-
tives à la protection de l'environnement. Renseignez-vous auprès des autorités
compétentes ou de l'entreprise d'enlèvement des déchets polluants.
• Trier le matériau d'emballage (généralement recyclable) et le jeter dans les conteneurs
de récupération prévus à cet effet.
• Rendre immédiatement inutilisables des appareils mis á la remise et s´en débarasser
ensuite en se conformant aux prescriptions locales ralatives á la protection de l´envi-
ronnement.

Le convecteur 2002 CT et 2002 CTFpeut être utilisé en tant que modèle sur pieds ou en
tant que modèle mural.
Modèle sur pieds :
Monter les deux pieds sur le dessous de l'appareil, à droite et à gauche, en utilisant les
vis fournies et en veillant à ce que le collier de guidage et les deux nez de guidage s'en-
clenchent exactement dans les orifices correspondantes du boîtier du convecteur.
Modèle mural :
Pour la fixation des supports muraux, sélectionnez un endroit près d'une prise de courant
(latéralement, ne pas à l'extérieur ou dans les locaux humides) et respectez les distances
minimales [F] par rapport au mur, au plafond et/ou au sol indiquées sur le schéma de
montage et sur le dos de l'appareil (page 3).
Pour monter les supports muraux, tenez-les, conformément au schéma page 2, à l'en-
droit prévu au mur et marquez les trous de fixation au moyen d'un crayon pointu. Veillez
à ce que les supports soient à la verticale et qu'aucun câble électrique ou tuyau ne puis-
se être percé.
Montez les deux supports muraux au moyen des vis et chevilles fournies.
Retirez les deux pieds (ne pas les jeter !) au cas où l'appareil a été utilisé auparavant en
tant que modèle sur pieds et accrochez le convecteur dans les supports muraux jusqu'à
ce qu'il s'enclenche audiblement.
Pour décrocher le convecteur: contre le mur et retirez l'appareil vers le haut.
Enfichez la fiche secteur dans la prise de courant. Tournez le bouton thermostatique vers
la droite (dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre) jusqu'à la butée et actionnez le sélec-
teur de mode de fonctionnement.

Par l'activation de la turbosoufflante, la température ambiante augmente rapidement et
uniformément.
Thermostat d’ambiance
Le bouton de réglage permet de régler en progressif la température désirée:
Position MIN = chauffage faible / protection antigel
Position MAX = chauffage fort
Tourner le bouton du thermostat à fond vers la droite. Estimez-vous la température ambi-
ante ainsi atteinte agréable, ramenez alors le bouton vers la gauche jusqu’à ce que l’ap-
pareil s’éteigne. La température ambiante tombant au-dessous d’une certaine limite, l’ap-
pareil se remet de lui-même en marche.

Protection antigel
Pour éviter que la température ambiante ne tombe au-dessous de + 5°C (en cas d’ab-
sence prolongée), placer le sélecteur de mode sur position [
−−
] et le bouton de réglage du
thermostat sur le symbole MIN. Ainsi réglé, l’appareil se met en marche à + 5°C auto-
matiquement et s’éteint à + 7°C, ce qui permet d’éviter des dégâts consécutifs au gel.
Protection contre la surchauffe
En cas de surchauffe de l'appareil en raison d'une circulation d'air insuffisante, le dispo-
sitif de protection incorporé met le chauffage automatiquement hors circuit. La turbo-
soufflante demeure en service dans la mesure où elle a été activée et elle soutient ainsi
le refroidissement. Lorsque l'appareil a refroidi suffisamment, le dispositif de protection
remet le chauffage automatiquement en marche. Eteindre l’appareil et tirer la fiche de
prise de courant. Laisser l’appareil refroidir et enrouler le câble. Toujours protéger l’ap-
pareil contre l’intrusion de poussières.

Service / Soin
L’appareil ne nécessite pas de service ou soin spéciaux. Ne nettoyer l’appareil qu’avec
un tissu sec ou à peine humide. Les pièces conductrices d’électricité (rotacteur, prise, spi-
rale chauffante, etc.) ne doivent jamais entrer en contact avec de l’eau.
Perturbations
En présence de perturbations quelconques (pas de chaleur dégagée, bruits inaccou-
tumés, panne) faites réviser ou réparer l’appareil par un agent agrée du S.A.V. FAKIR.

Antes del uso
• Sirvase leer detenidamente las informaciones expuestas a continuación. Estas conti-
enen instrucciones importantes relacionadas con el uso, la seguridad y el cuidado,
conservacion y mantenimiento del aparato. Guarde estas instrucciones adecuada-
mente y entrégueselas, en caso dado, al siguiente propietario.
• Los aparatos de Fakir corresponden a las reglas reconocidas de la técnica y a la ulti-
ma versión de la Ley de Seguridad de Aparatos Eléctricos.
• Este aparato cumple con los requisitos de las directrices de la CE 89/336/CCE
"Compatibilidad electromagnética" y 73/23/CEE "Directriz para sistemas de baja ten-
sion". El aparato lleva en la placa del tipo el distintivo correspondiente de la CE.
• La empresa Fakir se reserva el derecho de realizar modificaciones en el diseno y en
el equipamiento.
Instrucciones generales
• Conectar el aparato unicamente a la potencia indicada en la placa de potencia.
Deberan coincidir la tension de funcionamiento segun la placa y la tension de la red.
• La toma de corriente tiene que estar protegida con un fusible automatico domestico
de 16 A.
• No poner en marcha el aparato cuando: El armazon presente danos visibles (fisuras,
roturas etc.), la conduccion conectora sea defectuosa, se sospeche de defectos invi-
sibles (despues de una caida etc.).
• Las superficies del aparato que desprenden calor pueden calentarse hasta alcanzar
una temperatura superior a los 60°C.
• No debera montarse el aparato en vehiculos y ponerlo en marcha en su interior.
• El aparato no esta adecuado para que se conecte con conexiones de instalacion fija.
• Antes de cada periodo de calefacción deberán llevarse los aparatos de calefaccion
Fakir a un taller de servicio postventa de Fakir para su limpieza y verificación.
• Sólo un taller de servicio postventa de Fakir está autorizado a sustituir el cable de
conexión eléctrica.
• Las reparaciones deberán efectuarse en un taller de servicio postventa de Fakir. En
caso de reparaciones efectuadas de forma inadecuada podrán originarse peligros
para el usario.
• Cuando el aparato se ha empleado para una finalidad no prevista, se ha operado ina-
propiadamente o reparado y mantenido deficientemente, no se asumirá responsablili-
dad alguna en el caso de danos eventuales.
• El aparato no necesita entretenimiento y mantenimiento especial.

Instrucciones de seguridad
• Después del uso desconectar el aparato, tirar enchufe, deber refrescar el aparato y
enrollar el cable. Despositar el aparato al abrigo de polvo.
• Atención: No utilizar el aparato en el cuarto de bano, el lavabo y la ducha.
• Colocar el aparato de tal forma que la distancia entre el orificio de salida del aire y
otros objetos no sea inferior a los 50 cm. Colocar el aparato de tal forma que no pue-
dan encenderse objetos combustibles.
• No tapar el aparato con toallas, cortinas u otros objetos parecidos, puesto que al
taparlo existe el peligro de sobrecalentamiento. No deberá bloquearse el proceso de
succión de aire fresco y de evacuación de aire caliente.
• No desenchufar nunca el aparato tirando del cable del enchufe.
• No pasar el cable de conexión nunca por cantos agudos y no aprisionarlo.
• Cuando el aparato está en funcionamiento el cable no deberá encontarse todavia en
el soporte de cable.
• Cuando el aparato está en funcionamiento el cable de conexión eléctrica no deberá
encontarse en contacto con el aparato.
• No emplear cables de prolongación danados.
• El aparato no debe ser guardado en estancias descubiertas o en el exterior.
• Para la limpieza del aparato emplear únicamente un pano seco o ligeramente hume-
decido. Durante este trabajo se tiene que evitar que los componentes que conducen
corriente eléctrica (interruptor, enchufe, calefacción etc.) no entren en contacto con
agua.
Instrucciones para la eliminación del aparato desechado
• Ni el embalaje del aparato y posteriormente tampoco el aparato mismo después de su
vida útil, deben ser desechados con la basura doméstica corriente. Al respecto, roga-
mos observar las disposiciones de las autoridades locales previstas para este fin.
• Clasificar el material del embalaje y desecharlo en los contenedores correspondien-
tes para facilitar su reciclaje y nuevo uso.
• Una vez puesto el aparato fuera de uso, procédase inmediatamente a su inutilización
y llévenlo a uno de los lugares de recolección previstos para ello.

El convector 2002 CT y 2002 CTFpuede ser utilizado como modelo para el suelo y la
pared.
Monte ambas patas en la parte inferior del convector, izquierda y derecha, con los tornil-
los suministrados. Tenga cuidado que la brida de guía y los dos talones de guía en la
pata sean insertados exactamente en las respectivas aberturas de la carcasa del con-
vector.
Modelo para la pared:
Para fijar los soportes murales, elija un lugar cerca (al lado de) un tomacorriente - no al
aire libre ni en recintos húmedos - y tenga en cuenta las distancias mínimas [F] a la
pared, la esquina y/o al suelo que se indican en el croquis del montaje, así como en la
parte posterior del convector (pág. 3).
Para montar los soportes murales, sosténgalos en el lugar previsto de la pared confor-
me al croquis y transfiera o marque (pág. 2) los agujeros de sujeción con un lápiz pun-
tiagudo. Tenga cuidado que los soportes estén verticales y que no se puedan taladrar
cables eléctricos ni tubos.
Monte ambos soportes murales con los tornillos y tarugos suministrados.
Desmonte las dos patas (¡y guardarlas!) - si Vd. ha utilizado anteriormente el convector
como modelo para el suelo - y enganche el convector en los soportes murales hasta que
éste encaje audiblemente.
Para descolgar el convector: extraiga el convector de los soportes hacia arriba.
Enchufe el conector de red en el tomacorriente. Gire la cabeza del termostato a la
derecha (en sentido horario) hasta el tope y conecte con el conmutador de modos de
servicio.

Activando adicionalmente el turbosoplador se calentará la temperatura del aire ambien-
te más rápida y uniformemente.
Termostato espacial
Con la ayuda del botón orientable del termostato se puede seleccionar de forma conti-
nua la emisión de calor del aparato:
Position MIN = poco caliente / protección contra la congelación
Position MAX = muy caliente
Girar el botón giratorio del termostato a la derecha hasta llegar al tope. Cuando se alcan-
za la temperatura ambiente deseada, girese el botón del termostato a la izquierda, hasta
que se apague el aparato. Si la temperatura ambiente vuelve a bajar, se conecta de
nuevo la calefacción automáticamente.

Ajuste de la protección contra congelación
Para evitar que la temperatura ambiental baja de los + 5°C (en el caso de un eventual
ausencia prolongada), se debe colocar el conmutador de funcionamientos a la posición
[
−−
] y el botón giratorio del termostato a la posición MIN. El aparato se conecta automáti-
camente al alcanzar los +5°C y se desconecta de nuevo al alcanzar los + 7°C. De esta
manera se pueden evitar eventuales desperfectos por congelación.
Seguro de sobretemperatura
En caso de un sobrecalentamiento del convector debido a una circulación deficiente del
aire, el seguro de sobretemperatura incorporado desactivará la calefacción automática-
mente. Si fue conectado previamente, el turbosoplador seguirá funcionando, apoyando
así el enfriamiento. Después de que el convector se haya enfriado suficientemente, el
seguro de sobretemperatura conectará de nuevo la calefacción automáticamente.
Desconectar el aparato, tirar enchufe. Deber refrescar el aparato y enrollar el cable.
Depositar el aparato al abrigo de polvo.

Entretenimiento / Mantenimiento
El aparato no necesita entretenimiento y mantenimiento especial. Para la limpieza del
aparato emplear únicamente un paño seco o ligeramente humedecido. Durante este tra-
bajo se tiene que evitar que los componentes que conducen corriente eléctrica (inter-
ruptor, enchufe, calefacción, etc.) no entren en contacto con agua.
Averías
Si el aparato no funcionase según lo esperado (ninguna producción de calor, ruidos des-
acostumbrados o fallos), lleverlo al servicio técnico Fakir para que lo comprueben o repa-
ren. Ello es igualemente aplicable al caso de que el aparato se desconecte repetidas
veces después de haberlo utilizado adecuadamente.
