Exhaust fumes contain toxic carbon monoxide – a gas that is colourless
and odourless. Inhaling carbon monoxide can cause loss of
consciousness and may result in death.
If you operate the generator in a (partially) closed area, the amount of
toxic exhaust fumes in the air may become dangerous.
Never run the generator in a garage, residence or the vicinity of open
windows or doors.
Do not connect the generator to the main power grid.
Do not connect the generator in parallel with another generator.
An incorrect connection could supply electricity to the power grid
through the building’s electrical system. This means that there is a
possibility that people working on the grid could be electrocuted and,
once power is applied to the grid again, the generator could explode,
burst into flames or cause a fire. Consult the electricity company or a
recognised electrician prior to making any electrical connections.
The device contains hot components that could cause
serious burns.
Avoid contact during and after the engine has been on.
