You See Only a Few Dots in Your Scanned Image
❏ Make sure the original is placed on the scanner glass with the side to be scanned facing down.
❏ In Home Mode, Oce Mode, or Professional Mode in EPSON Scan, and when Black & White is selected as
the Image Type, change the
reshold
setting. In Home Mode, click Brightness to display the adjuster.

A Line or Line of Dots Always Appears in Your Scanned Images
❏ Clean the scanner glass and document mat. If the problem continues, the scanner glass may be scratched.

❏ Make sure the original is placed at on the scanner glass. Also make sure your original is not wrinkled or
warped.
❏ Make sure you do not move the original or the scanner while scanning.
❏ Make sure the scanner is placed on a at, stable surface.
❏ In Oce Mode or Professional Mode in EPSON Scan, select Unsharp Mask.
❏ Increase the resolution setting.
