8.2.3 Configuring the alarm mail
1. Login as described in chapter 8.2.1.
2. Click the ‘System Config’ icon.
(Upper right part of the screen, next to the photo camera and film.)
3. Double click ‘Network’.
4. Click ‘Mail’.
5. Enter the e-mail server in the ‘Server’ field. This can be an e-mail server hosted
by yourself or an e-mail server from your Internet provider. Consult the data of
your Internet provider if you do not know the name of the server.
6. Enter the address that has to act as a sender mail address in the ‘Mail from’ field.
This needs to be a real account, for instance your own e-mail address.
7. Click the ‘Add’ button to enter the e-mail address where you wish to receive the
alarm mail. Click ‘OK’ to confirm the address.
8. Click the ‘Apply’ button to save the settings.
9. Click ‘Alarm’ in the left menu.
10. Check ‘Enable’ to enable the function, and check ‘Email’.
11. The field ‘Post number of pics’ allows you to specify the number of images to be
sent.
12. The field ‘Alarm Duration’ allows you to specify the duration of the alarm before
another mail is sent.
13. Click ‘Apply’ to save the settings.
The EM6010 will send an e-mail as soon as motion is detected, containing the images
of the cameras at that moment.
8.2.4 Configuring the FTP Function
1. Login as described in chapter 8.2.1.
2. Click the ‘System Config’ icon.
(Upper right part of the screen, next to the photo camera and film.)
3. Double click ‘Network’.
4. Click ‘FTP’.
5. Enter the data of the FTP server to which the EM6010 needs to save images as
soon as motion is detected.
(To be able to use this function you need an FTP server and the correct login
information. If you do not have these, you cannot use this feature.)
6. Click ‘Apply’ to save the settings.
7. Click ‘Alarm’ in the left menu.
8. Check ‘Enable’ to enable the function, and check ‘FTP’.
9. The field ‘Post number of pics’ allows you to specify the number of images to be
sent.
10. Click ‘Apply’ to save the settings.
