17. Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being

18. Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water
or steam.
19. Use caution when you turn a steam iron upside
down-there may be hot water in the reservoir.

23. The cord should not be allowed to touch the soleplate

25. When using the iron for the first time put it on an old
piece of fabric to ensure the soleplate and water tank are
completely clean.
26. Remove the plug from the socket before filling or
emptying water reservoir.
27. The iron shall be used on a stable ironing board.

damaged or if the cable or plug are damaged. In the case
of damage, take the appliance to an electrical repair shop
for examination and repair if necessary.
