• For extra protection it is possible to fit the electric household installation with a fault current
breaker with a rated breaking current of not more than 30mA. Ask your electrician for advice.
• Make sure that there is no danger that the cord or extension cord may inadvertently be pulled or
cause anyone to trip when in use.
• If an extension cord is used it must be suited to the power consumption of the appliance,
otherwise overheating of the extension cord and/or plug may occur.
• This appliance is not suitable for commercial use nor for use in the open air.
• Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in use.
• Children cannot recognise the dangers involved in the incorrect use of electrical appliances.
Therefore never allow children to use household appliances without supervision.
• Always remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use and each time before it
is cleaned.
• Danger! Nominal voltage is still present in the appliance as long as the appliance is connected to
the mains socket.
• Switch the appliance off before disconnecting from the mains.
• Never use the cord to carry the appliance.
SPECIFIC SAFETYADVICE
• Please do not operate the device unless it is filled with popcorn kernels.

Danger of burning!
The casing (6) gets very hot during operation.
• Small kernel parts can be thrown out of the ventilation (1)of the device during operation. Eyes,
your face and over uncovered body party, especially those of children, should stay well clear of the
device.
PRIOR TO FIRST USE
• Remove all packaging.
• Clean the device as described in
Care and Maintenance
.
OPERATION
• Fill the roasting kettle (4) with popcorn kernels.
• Remove the cover (2) of the transparent attachment (3) to uncover the ventilation (1).
• Place the attachment onto the casing, such that the handles are aligned.
• Connect the power plug (9) to a power outlet and flip the On/Off switch (8). The red control lamp
will light up.
• The motor will start running and the rotor (7)will rotate slowly.
• Once all the kernels have burst, which should be after about 3-5 minutes, flip the On/Off switch (8)
again and pull the power plug (9).
• You can now put the cover back on the transparent attachment and use it as a bowl for your
popcorn.
• To improve the taste of the popcorn, you can add various flavorings such as butter, salt or
powdered sugar. Serve immediately.
• Attention! Never add spices, flavorings or oil to the popcorn while it is still in the machine.
• Warning! Once the machine has completed two consecutive operation cycles allow it some time
to cool down to room temperature.
• Attention! Never overfill the device. This would prevent the kernels from popping and would thus
burn them.
• Use conventional popcorn only. Do not use microwaveable popcorn!
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Pull the power plug and allow the machine to cool down entirely.
• The outer parts of the machine can be wiped down with a moist cloth or sponge.
• Clean the roasting kettle (4) with a moist cloth and the dry it thoroughly.
• The cover (2) and the transparent attachment (3) can be cleaned by hand and should then be
thoroughly dried.
• Never use abrasive detergents or hard utensils to clean the device.
• Never use gasoline or thinners.

this period we will remedy all defects free of charge, which can be demonstrably attributed to
material or manufacturing defects, by repair or exchange.
Defects which arise due to improper handling of the device and malfunctions due to interventions
and repairs by third parties or the fitting of non-original parts, are not covered by this guarantee.
