Replacing The Battery
Your Elgato Smart Key relies on a replaceable
CR2032 lithium battery that lasts more than
half a year.

You’ll automatically receive a notification a
few weeks before your battery runs out;
please purchase a new battery (for instance,
via http://e.lga.to/orderbattery ) and follow the
instructions below to give your Elgato Smart
Key renewed power.

1) Open Elgato Smart Key from the end
opposite the hole. You can use the special
tool that's included in the package.
"
2) Put the tip of the special tool inside the
small hole on the edge of Elgato Smart Key.

3) Take the cover off of Elgato Smart Key.
You will expose the battery, which is in a
carrier on the circuit board.

4) Push out the battery with your tool. Be
careful not to scratch the battery
compartment.
