stress-relief clip (Fig. 5/Item A) onto the lower
push bar. Screw the tubes together, using the
screws supplied (A), the plastic parts (B) and
the hand wheel (C). Now push the upper push
bar over the lower push bar (Fig. 7) and screw
together as shown in Fig. 8. Then attach the
power cable to the push bar (Fig. 10/Item A)
using the cable clips (Fig. 9/Item A).
Mounting the grass collecting device (see
Fig. 11 to 15)
Mount the bar frame as shown in Fig. 11. Pull
the grass bag over the bar frame (Fig. 12). The
grass bag must be fastened to the bar frame
as shown in Fig. 13 and 14.
Before you ever fit the grass bag to the mower
you must ensure that the motor is switched off
and the blade is not rotating.
Lift the ejector flap (Fig. 15 / Item A) with one
hand. With the other hand, hold the grass bag
by the handle and hook it in from above (Fig.
15).
6. Setting the cutting heights
Important!
Adjust the cutting height only when the engine
is switched off and the power cable has been
disconnected.
Before you begin to mow, check to ensure that
the blade is not blunt and that none of the
fasteners are damaged. To prevent any
imbalance, replace blunt and/or damaged
blades. To carry out this check, first switch off
the motor and pull out the power plug.
The cutting height is adjusted as shown in
Figs. 16 and 17. To do so, turn the machine
upside down or tilt it to the side. Position both
the front and rear axle in the same notch, so
that the cutting blade runs parallel to the lawn.
Cutting height, position A: 60 mm
Cutting height, position B: 42.5 mm
Cutting height, position C: 25 mm
7. Starting up
Connect the mains lead (Fig. 1/Item 6) to an
extension cable. It is imperative to secure the
extension cable with the cable grip as shown in
Figure 18.
Important!
To prevent the machine switching on
accidentally, the lawn mower is equipped with
a safety lock-off (Fig. 19/Item A) which must be
pressed before the switching bar (Fig. 19/Item
B) can be activated. The lawn mower switches
itself off when the switch is released.
Repeat this process several times so that you
are sure that the machine functions properly.
Before you perform any repair or maintenance
work on the machine, ensure that the blade is
not rotating and that the power supply is
disconnected.

Important. Never open the discharge flap if
the grass box is being emptied and the
motor is still running. The rotating blade
can cause serious injuries.
Always secure the discharge flap and grass
bag carefully. Always switch off the motor
before you remove these items.
The safety distance between the blade casing
and the user provided by the guide struts must
be maintained at all times. Take special care
when mowing and changing direction on
