TROUBLESHOOTING: WHATTO DO IN CASE OFBREAKDOWNS
The pellets CANNOT drop into the combustion chamber forthe following reasons:
• The worm screw is empty:
Press the + and – keys at the same time to fill the worm screw .
• The pellets are wedged in the reserve:
Use a vacuum cleaner to empty out the pellet reserve.
• The gear is broken.
• The worm screw safety thermostat has cut out the power supply to the gear:
Check that there is no overheating. Check this using a tester or by bridging temporarily.
• The excessive water temperature safety thermostat has cut out the power supply to the gear:
Check whether the stove contains any water. To reset, press the key behind the stove.
In these cases, ALWAYS contact the Dealer BEFORE starting the stove up again.
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTIONS
Control panel off No power from the mains
Check the power supply connections
Check the fuse (on the power supply line)
Check the flat cable connection to the control
panel
Inefficient remote control
You are too far from the stove Move closer to the stove
The remote control batteries are flat
Check the batteries and change them if
necessary
Water is not hot enough Too much soot in the exchanger
Clean the exchanger from inside the
combustion chamber
These alarm readings will remain on display until you press the 0/1 key on the control panel.
We recommend that you do NOT ignite the stove again before checking that you have solved the problem
In
case of stove stoppage, to re-ignite the stove you must allow the stoppage procedure to take its course (this takes 10 minu-
tes and is followed by a sound alert), then press the 0/1 key.
Never pull the powerplug out while the stove is shutting down because of a stoppage.
Important: report the readings that come up on the control panel to the Dealer.
The chimneys and smoke flues connected to solid fuel-burning equipment must be cleaned (swept) once every year (check the
standards governing this requirement in your own country).
If you do not check and clean them regularly, you increase the probability of a chimney fire.
In case of a chimney fire, proceed as follows: do not use water to put the fire out; empty the pellets out of the reserve; contact
the Dealer before starting the stove up again after the fire.
