Congratulations on your purchase of
MyStudio
Now you have your own personal studio for home use, allowing you to create professional-looking videos and
photos with your own backgrounds.
Simply film yourself in front of the MyStudio green screen and with the help of your preferred app, replace the
green screen image and "jump" into your chosen background. There are no limits!
You decide against which background suits your creative mood and how often you want to change it.
WARNING
- Ask an adult to help you set up the tripod.
The tripod is heavy and you could pinch your fingers if you pull the tripod feet apart carelessly.
- Be careful when mounting the smartphone in the holder.
- Always ensure that the smartphone is securely fixed in place and cannot fall out of the cradle.
- Please seek the permission of parents before using any app and follow the safety instructions for online use.
Getting started
Step 1: Position the tripod
Loosen the thumbscrew and pull down the three tripod legs completely so it stands firm and stable.
ATTENTION: Due to the stability of the tripod, the feet are sometimes difficult to pull apart.
There is a risk that you may get your fingers caught. Always complete this step with adult supervision.
Step 2: Mount the video light
Screw the LED ring light onto the supplied ball head and attach
it to the tripod.
The ring light is supplied with power using the supplied USB cable.
You can connect the USB plug to the USB port of your computer
or use a normal USB power supply or power bank.
The light is switched on and off using the switch on the cable. Y
ou can also use it to adjust the light colour temperature (warm white,
universal white or daylight white) and brightness in ten steps.
Step 3: Mount the smartphone
Mount the smartphone holder on the tripod shaft using the clamp mount.
The smartphone mount is compatible with smartphones of up to 3.7“/9cm in width.
ATTENTION: Take care to ensure the smartphone is securely fixed in place.
Ensure the smartphone is not at risk of falling from the mount.!
1. Set up the tripod legs
2. Connect the ring light to
the ball head and attach
to the tripod
3. Mount and secure the
smartphone in the cradle
Step 4: Microphone connection
Connect the microphone to your phone using the adapters and extension
cable provided. You can then clip the microphone discretely to your
sweater or tee shirt.
NOTE: Adapters for the most common smartphone connections are
included: Android smartphone USB Type-C and iPhone.
Additional adapters are not included.
Step 5: Green Screen
Hang the green screen in a suitable position behind you
using the supplied clamps or suspension rings where required.
You are now ready to start!
Position yourself in front of the green screen
and start recording! Lights, Camera, ACTION!
TIP: Ensure the tripod is placed in a position
which allows the green screen to completely fill
the background of the video recording.
Using the App to change the green screen background
There are many apps available for both Android, in the Google PlayStore and iPhone in the App Store, which
allow you to replace the green screen in your video with a different background.
We would like to show you the CHROMAVID app as an example of how it works.
The CHROMAVID app is available in the PlayStore for Android Smartphones as well
the Apple App Store for iPhones.
1. Stand in front of the green screen and the app will automatically change
to the green colour background.
2. Select and confirm your favorite background in the app or in your recordings.
Done! Now you can record the video with your own background.
ATTENTION: The CHROMAVID App is free of charge.
There is also a paid version available.
Please be aware of using apps that require or facilitate in-app purchases.
An example of more advanced video editing apps that allow you to change the green screen in your video
are iMOVIE for iOS or KINEMASTER for Android.
Manufacturer’s friendly advice to parents on best practise when considering online safety.
Many social media apps that contain chats or communities have an age limit.
We recommend that young peoples use of social media apps is always supervised by an adult:
Set up the account together with your child and make sure you have the right security settings applied and
saved. Accompany your child through the first steps by previewing the videos your child uploads. Also look at
the comments on the videos and discuss them with your child.
Ask your child which media he or she likes to use, which apps and platforms are popular with friends and
school classes.
Agree on rules of conduct for the apps and usage times that suit your family's everyday routine. There should
also be clear agreements about when the smartphone needs to be turned off.
Watch your child. If something seems strange to you, speak to them about your concerns and assumptions.
Always protect your children from inappropriate content.
Make sure that your child never discloses any personal information.
Be aware of hidden costs.
In principle, all apps can make "in-app purchases" possible.
Downloading protected content can lead to copyright infringement and is punishable by law.
Cyberbullying:
The simple and vast distribution possibilities of the Internet, apparent anonymity and the habit of immediately
sharing funny or embarrassing content with friends can become a danger if it is used by others for bullying
purposes.
Make it clear to your child that sharing pictures, text or comments is not fun and can make others unhappy.
Make them understand that you should think first, then press the forward button - and that you can distance
yourself from offensive content.
The first rule of the internet is: The net forgets nothing!
Limited visibility or limited time content does not disappear.
What was once online can often be retrieved later and screenshots can be taken quickly.
Even deleted texts and photos or deactivated websites can be found via the cache of search engines or via
Internet archives. Therefore, think before you post. That applies to children as well as to adults.
