CLEANING AS NEEDED
26
FILTERS AND FILTER HOLDER
Check that the small holes of your filters (17), (18) or (19)
are not obstructed, and if necessary clean with a brush.
Over time, a build-up of coffee grounds may be noticed at
the point where the filter holder attaches to the brewhead
(6). These can be removed with a soft brush.
IMPORTANT: BE CAREFUL NOT TO CROSS-THREAD
THE SCREW WHEN REMOVING AND ATTACHING
THE SHOWER HEAD ASSEMBLY.
The shower head and gasket (6) will periodically require
cleaning. Small coffee granules may clog up the holes on
the shower head.
1. Remove the drip tray (8) and ensure the water tank
(11) is empty or has been removed.
2. Undo the screw anticlockwise in the centre of the
shower head, the shower head and gasket will drop
out.
3. Ease the shower head out of the gasket and clean. Use
a brush to remove any stuburn coffee granules.
4. Re-assemble the shower head and gasket. Ensure the
shower head is firmly seated in the gasket.
5. Being careful not to cross-thread, screw the shower
head assembly to the back into the brew head.
6. Check it is securely tightened or it will leak when you
make your next coffee.
