The kit comprises of: -

This installation instruction must be read in
conjunction with the instruction manual of the Air
Barrier being installed and form an addendum to that
document.
The kit is designed to facilitate installation of one of
the above Air Barrier models into a ceiling void.
The maximum effective height from floor to ceiling
into which the Air Barrier is being fitted is 2.5m for
the CAB series and 3.5m for the DAB series.
The ceiling can be either of a plasterboard (or similar)
construction, or of suspended 600 x 600mm tiles.
Installation in a plasterboard (or similar) Ceiling
First it is necessary to ensure that sufficient space exists above the
ceiling for the Installation of the Air Barrier (see Table 1 below).

A hole as indicated in Fig. 1 must be cut into the ceiling, central to and
as close to the doorway as possible ( i.e. minimise ‘W’ - see Fig. 1).
It may be necessary to fix an internal supporting frame around the
newly cut aperture.
The grille frame ‘a’ can then be fixed in position (see Fig. 1).
Assembly of Recessed Duct Kit
Using the duct endcaps as a guide, form the duct by hand into
correct shape - see ‘b’ in Fig. 2. Screw fix the duct to endcaps using
the screws provided.
Finally bend up tabs as shown in Fig. 3.
In order to fit the Air Intake Duct, first remove outlet grille, bottom
panel and then the Intake grille assembly - as shown in Fig. 4 .
Refer to ‘CAB/DAB Installation & Operating Instructions’.
The intake air duct can then be positioned using the tabs shown in
Fig. 3 and located in position as detailed in Fig. 5 using the supplied
screws fastened into the endcap.
Note: It is not necessary to replace the intake grille assembly.
Dimplex Air Barrier - Recess Kit
Models : CABKT10, CABKT15, DABKT10 & DABKT15
The Air Barrier can then be mounted into the ceiling void
(using lengths of threaded bar or hooks screwed into the threaded
inserts located in the top side of the appliance) with the Air Outlet
positioned centrally above the door as in the ‘X’ dimension and as
close to the supplied Grille Frame in the ‘Z’ dimension (150mm max.)
as shown in Fig.1.
The appliance is also required to be positioned as close to the door
opening as possible in the ‘Y’ dimension as shown in Fig. 1 and
inside the grille opening as shown in Fig. 6 to achieve optimum
air-flow effect.
The Air Barrier supplies (Electric or Water) are then made as per
‘CAB/DAB Installation & Operating Instructions’.
The bottom panel and outlet grille can then be replaced, and the outlet
vanes positioned straight down.
The installation of the Air Barrier should be carried out by a
competent electrician and be in accordance with the current IEE
wiring regulations before re-inserting the egg crate grille into the
grille frame.
Installation in a Suspended Ceiling
First it is necessary to ensure that sufficient space exists above the
ceiling for the Installation of the Air Barrier - see Table 2.

The required tile width needs to be left open (central to, and as close
as possible to the doorway i.e. with no central Ceiling tile support
bar).
The Air Barrier can then be installed in the ceiling void as detailed in
‘Installation in a plasterboard Ceiling’ and in the ‘CAB/DAB Installation
& Operating Instructions’.
The egg crate grille core only may then be inserted directly into the
tile aperture left open.
Thermal Safety cut outs
The power supply to the heating elements will be interrupted if one
or a combination of the following abnormal events occur:
1. Air intake duct or outlet grilles are obstructed.
2. Internal ventilation is impaired due to build up of dust and
fluff.
3. Blower unit stalls.
To reset the thermal safety cut-outs, access reset buttons (see ‘x’ in
Fig. 7) by removing the intake duct. Before re-setting the reason for
activation must be determined and corrective action taken.
Cleaning
WARNING: DISCONNECT SUPPLY before carrying out
maintenance.
External appearance can be maintained by wiping occasionally with
a damp cloth ; for stain removal, a weak soap solution can be applied
with a cloth and the surface wiped dry. Care must be taken to avoid
any moisture ingress into the product.

Diese Montageanleitung muss zusammen mit der
Montageanleitung für die zu montierende
Luftschranke gelesen und als Zusatzinformationen
betrachtet werden.
Dieses Kit ermöglicht die Montage einer der oben
genannten Luftschranken in einem Hohlraum in der
Decke.
Die effektive Maximalhöhe vom Fußboden zur Decke
für die Installation der Luftschranke beträgt 2,5 m für
die CAB-Serie und 3,5 m für die DAB-Serie.
Die Decke kann entweder aus Gipskarton (oder
ähnlichem) oder aus 600 x 600 mm abgehängten
Paneelen bestehen.
Montage in einer Gipskarton-Decke (oder ähnlichem)
Als erstes muss sichergestellt werden, dass genügend Platz über der
Decke für die Montage der Luftschranke vorhanden ist (siehe Abb. 1 und
Tabelle 1, unten).

Es muss ein Loch in die Decke geschnitten werden (siehe Abb. 1).
Dieses muss sich direkt über und so nah wie möglich an der Tür befinden
(d. h. „W“ so gering wie möglich halten – siehe Abb. 1).
Unter Umständen muss ein Stützrahmen um die Öffnung herum angebracht
werden.
Der Gitterrahmen „a“ kann dann in dieser Position angebracht werden
(siehe Abb. 1).
Montage des Kits für den eingelassenen Leitungskanal
Den Leitungskanal mithilfe der Endkappen von Hand in die richtige Form
bringen – siehe „b“ in Abb. 2. Den Leitungskanal mithilfe der mitgelieferten
Schrauben an den Endkappen befestigen.
Zum Schluss die Laschen nach oben biegen (siehe Abb. 3).
Um den Lufteinlasskanal zu montieren, als erstes das Auslassgitter, die untere
Abdeckplatte und das Einlassgitter entfernen – siehe Abb. 4.

Der Lufteinlasskanal kann danach mithilfe der Laschen (Abb. 3) positioniert
und mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben durch die Endkappen gemäß
Abb. 5 fixiert werden.
Hinweis: das Einlassgitter muss nicht zwingend wieder angebracht werden.
Dimplex Luftschranke – Kit für die eingelassene Montage
Modelle: CABKT10, CABKT15, DABKT10 & DABKT15
Die Luftschranke kann nun in den Hohlraum in der Decke installiert werden
(mithilfe von Gewindestangen oder Haken, die in die Gewindeeinsätze oben
am Gerät eingeschraubt werden). Das Auslassgitter muss sich direkt über der
Tür (X-Abmessungen) und so nah wie möglich am mitgelieferten Gitterrahmen
(Z-Abmessungen, maximal 150 mm) befinden – siehe Abb. 1.
Das Gerät muss sich des weiteren mit der „Y“-Abmessung so dicht wie möglich
an der Türöffnung (siehe Abb 1) und innerhalb des Lufteinlasses (siehe Abb 6)
befinden, um einen optimalen Luftstrom zu gewährleisten.
Die Versorgungsanschlüsse der Luftschranke (Strom oder Wasser) werden
dann, wie in der „CAB/DAB Montage- und Bedienungsanleitung“ beschrieben,
angeschlossen.
Die untere Abdeckplatte und die Auslassgitter können jetzt wieder angebracht
und die Auslassflügel direkt nach unten gestellt werden.
Die Installation der Luftschranke muss von einem ausgebildeten Elektriker in
Übereinstimmung mit den aktuellen Kabelbestimmungen der IEE durchgeführt
werden, bevor das Kühlergitter wieder in den Gitterrahmen eingesetzt wird.
Montage an einer abgehängten Decke
Als erstes muss sichergestellt werden, dass genügend Platz über der Decke für
die Montage der Luftschranke vorhanden ist (siehe Tabelle 2).

Die benötigte Paneelenbreite muss offen gelassen werden (direkt über, und so
nah wie möglich an der Tür, d.h. ohne direkte Deckenpaneelen-Unterstützung).
Die Luftschranke kann dann in den Hohlraum der Decke, wie unter „Montage
in einer Gipskarton-Decke“ und in der „CAB/DAB Montage- und
Bedienungsanleitung“ beschrieben, installiert werden.
Das Kühlergitter kann dann direkt in die offen gelassene Öffnung eingesetzt
werden.
Thermo-Sicherheitsabschaltung
Die Stromversorgung der Heizelemente wird unterbrochen, wenn einer der
folgenden oder eine Kombination der folgenden Vorfälle auftritt:
1. Lufteinlasskanal oder Auslassgitter sind blockiert.
2. Die interne Luftzirkulation ist durch Ansammlung von Staub und Fusseln
beeinträchtigt.
3. Die Lüftereinheit blockiert.
Um die Thermo-Sicherheitsabschaltung zurückzusetzen, die Taste „Reset“
drücken (siehe „x“ in Abb. 7). Hierzu den Einlasskanal entfernen. Vor dem
Zurücksetzen den Grund für das Auslösen bestimmen und Gegenmaßnahmen
ergreifen.
Reinigung
WARNUNG: Vor Wartungsarbeiten die STROMVERSORGUNG
UNTERBRECHEN.
Das Gehäuse kann durch gelegentliches Abwischen mit einem
feuchten Tuch gereinigt werden. Um Verschmutzungen zu reinigen, kann eine
schwache Seifenlösung mit einem Tuch aufgetragen und die Oberfläche
abgetrocknet werden. Das Eindringen von Feuchtigkeit in das Produkt
muss vermieden werden.

Ces instructions d’installation viennent compléter le
manuel d’utilisation de la barrière d’air installée et en
constituent un addenda à part entière.
Ce kit a été conçu pour faciliter l’installation de l’un
des modèles de barrières d’air cités ci-dessus dans
les faux plafonds.
La hauteur maximale du faux plafond, garantissant un
fonctionnement efficace de la barrière d’air, est de 2,5 m
pour la série CAB et 3,5 m pour la série DAB.
Le plafond peut être constitué de plaques de plâtre
(ou tout autre matériau similaire) ou de carreaux
suspendus de 600 x 600 mm.
Montage dans un plafond de plaques de plâtre (ou matériau
similaire)
S’assurer en premier lieu que l’espace entre le plafond et le faux plafond est
suffisant pour accueillir la barrière d’air (voir figure 1 et tableau 1 ci-dessous).

Découper une ouverture dans le faux plafond, comme indiqué sur la figure 1,
centrée par rapport à la porte et aussi proche que possible de celle-ci (la
distance « W » doit être aussi courte que possible, voir figure1).
Il peut être nécessaire de poser un cadre de soutien interne autour de l’ouverture
qui vient d’être faite.
La grille « a » peut alors être fixée (voir figure1).
Assemblage de la gaine encastrable
En utilisant les supports de montage en guise de guides, plier la gaine à la main
pour lui donner la forme requise (« b » sur la figure 2). Visser la gaine sur les
supports à l’aide des vis fournies.
Replier les languettes comme indiqué sur la figure 3.
Afin d’encastrer la conduite d’admission d’air, retirer la grille de sortie d’air, puis
le panneau inférieur et la grille d’admission (voir figure 4).
Voir les instructions d’installation et d’utilisation CAB/DAB.
La conduite d'admission d'air peut ensuite être positionnée à l'aide des languettes
illustrées sur la figure 3 et fixée comme indiqué sur la figure 5. Elle peut ensuite
être placée comme indiqué sur la figure 5 à l'aide des vis fournies fixées dans
la gaine.
Remarque : Il n’est pas nécessaire de remettre la grille d’admission d’air
en place.
Barrière d’air Dimplex - Kit encastrable
Modèles : CABKT10, CABKT15, DABKT10 et DABKT15
La barrière d’air peut ensuite être montée dans le faux plafond (à l’aide de tiges
ou de crochets filetés vissés dans les chevilles filetées du panneau supérieur
de l’appareil) en veillant à centrer la sortie d’air au-dessus de la porte par rapport
à la longueur « X » et à la placer aussi près de la grille que possible par
rapport à la profondeur « Z » (150 mm maximum) comme indiqué sur
la figure 1.
L’appareil doit également être le plus proche possible de la porte, par rapport à
la largeur « Y » indiquée sur la figure 1, et bien au-dessus de la grille comme
illustré sur la figure 6, afin d’optimiser la circulation d’air.
L’alimentation (en électricité ou en eau) de la barrière d’air doit ensuite
être assurée conformément aux instructions d’installation et d’utilisation
CAB/DAB.
Le panneau inférieur et la grille de sortie d’air peuvent être remis en place, et les
volets de sortie positionnés vers le bas.
L’installation de la barrière d’air doit être effectuée par un électricien compétent,
conformément aux réglementations IEE en vigueur en matière de câblage
électrique, avant de remettre en place la grille alvéolée dans son cadre de
fixation.
Montage dans un plafond suspendu
S’assurer en premier lieu que l’espace au-dessus du plafond suspendu est
suffisant pour accueillir la barrière d’air (voir tableau 2).

Laisser une ouverture de la taille requise dans le plafond (l’ouverture doit être
centrée par rapport à la porte et aussi proche que possible de celle-ci ; ne pas
placer de barre de support centrale).
La barrière d’air peut alors être montée au-dessus du plafond suspendu, comme
indiqué en détails dans la section « Montage dans un plafond de plaques de
plâtre » et dans les instructions d’installation et d’utilisation CAB/DAB.
Insérer ensuite la grille alvéolée sans son cadre de support directement dans
l’ouverture laissée par les deux carreaux manquants.
Coupe-circuits thermiques
L’alimentation électrique des éléments chauffants est interrompue si l’un des
problèmes suivants apparaît :
1. Les grilles d’admission ou de sortie d’air sont bouchées.
2. La ventilation interne est gênée par une accumulation de poussière et
de peluches.
3. Le ventilateur cale.
Pour réinitialiser les coupe-circuits thermiques, retirer la conduite d’admission
d’air afin d’accéder aux boutons de réinitialisation (voir « x » sur la figure 7).
Avant d’effectuer la réinitialisation, déterminer la raison du déclenchement des
coupe-circuits et prendre une mesure corrective.
Nettoyage
AVERTISSEMENT : DÉCONNECTER l’alimentation secteur avant
d’effectuer toute opération d’entretien.
L’aspect extérieur de l’appareil peut être entretenu en essuyant ce dernier de
temps à autre avec un chiffon humide ; pour éliminer les taches, appliquer une
solution légèrement savonneuse à l’aide d’un torchon et essuyer. Faire preuve
de prudence pour empêcher toute humidité de pénétrer dans le produit.
Service après-vente
Pour obtenir une assistance après-vente, contacter le fournisseur auprès duquel
l’appareil a été acheté.

Estas instrucciones de instalación deberán leerse
juntamente con el manual de instrucciones de la
barrera de aire que se instale y formarán parte de esa
documentación.
Este equipo se ha diseñado para facilitar la instalación
de uno de los modelos de barrera de aire
mencionados en un hueco del techo.
La máxima altura efectiva (suelo a techo) en que se
instala la barrera de aire es de 2,5 m para la serie CAB
y 3,5 para la DAB.
El techo puede consistir en una estructura de placas
de yeso (o similar) o en losas suspendidas de 600 x
600 mm.
Instalación en un techo de placas de yeso (o similar)
Primeramente debe comprobarse que hay espacio suficiente sobre el techo
para instalar la barrera de aire (vea la Fig. 1 y la Tabla 1).

Abra un orificio en el techo como se indica en la Fig. 1, centrado sobre la puerta
y lo más cerca posible de la misma (es decir, minimice la dimensión ‘W’ – vea
la Fig. 1).
Es posible que necesite instalar un marco de soporte interno alrededor de la
apertura del techo.
Seguidamente podrá colocarse el marco de rejilla ‘a’ (Fig. 1).
Montaje del equipo del conducto empotrado
Guiándose por las cofias del conducto, dele la forma correcta con las manos
(vea ‘b’ en la Fig. 2). Sujete el conducto a las cofias con los tornillos que se
acompañan.
Por último, doble las lengüetas hacia arriba como se indica en la Fig. 3.
Para encajar el conducto de la entrada de aire, retire antes la rejilla de salida, el
panel inferior y el conjunto de la rejilla de entrada, como se indica en la Fig. 4.
Consulte las ‘Instrucciones de instalación y uso de los modelos CAB/DAB’.
Seguidamente podrá colocarse el conducto de entrada de aire con ayuda de las
lengüetas (Fig. 3) y asegurarlo como se indica en la Fig. 5 con los tornillos
suministrados sujetos a la cofia de conducto.
Nota: No es necesario volver a colocar el conjunto de la rejilla de entrada.
Barrera de aire Dimplex – Equipo empotrado

A continuación puede montarse la barrera de aire en el hueco del techo (utilizando
tramos de barra roscada o ganchos enroscados en las inserciones roscadas de
la parte superior del aparato), centrando la salida de aire sobre la puerta como
en la dimensión ‘X’ y tan próxima al marco de rejilla que se acompaña, dimensión
‘Z’ (máximo 150 mm), como se indica en la Fig. 1.
Para que el aire circule correctamente, es preciso colocar el aparato lo más
cerca posible de la puerta (dimensión ‘Y’, Fig. 1) y en el interior de la abertura
de la rejilla (Fig. 6).
Seguidamente deberán conectarse las alimentaciones (electricidad o agua) de
la barrera de aire, con arreglo a las ‘Instrucciones de instalación y uso de los
modelos CAB/DAB’.
Finalmente, vuelva a colocar el panel inferior y la rejilla de salida, dejando las
aletas de salida en posición vertical.
La instalación de la barrera de aire debe realizarla un electricista competente
de acuerdo con las normas aplicables a las conexiones eléctricas, antes de
reinsertar la rejilla compartimentada en su marco.
Instalación en un techo suspendido
Primeramente debe comprobarse que hay espacio suficiente sobre el techo
para instalar la barrera de aire (vea la Tabla 2).

Es preciso dejar abierto un hueco en las losas con la anchura necesaria
(centrado respecto a la puerta y lo más cerca posible de la misma; es decir, sin
barra central de soporte de losa).
Seguidamente puede instalarse la barrera de aire en el hueco del techo, como
se explica en ‘Instalación en un techo de placas de yeso’ y en ‘Instrucciones
de instalación y uso de los modelos CAB/DAB’.
Sólo entonces podrá insertarse directamente el núcleo de la rejilla
compartimentada en la abertura de las losas que se dejó sin cerrar.
Disyuntores térmicos de seguridad
La alimentación eléctrica de los elementos calefactores se interrumpirá si se
produce una o más de las siguientes anomalías:
1. Obstrucción del conducto de entrada de aire o de las rejillas de salida.
2. Ventilación interna dificultada por acumulación de polvo y pelusa.

Para reponer los disyuntores térmicos de seguridad, retire el conducto de
entrada y acceda a los botones de reposición (vea la ‘x’ en la Fig. 7). Antes
de efectuar la restauración es preciso averiguar la causa del fallo y corregirlo.
Limpieza
ADVERTENCIA: DESCONECTE LA ALIMENTACIÓN antes de efectuar el
mantenimiento.
El exterior del aparato puede limpiarse periódicamente con un paño húmedo;
las manchas se eliminan pasando un paño humedecido en una solución jabonosa
y secando después la superficie. Tenga cuidado de que no entre humedad en
el aparato.

Deze instructies voor de installatie moeten worden
gelezen in combinatie met de handleiding van de
luchtbuffer die wordt geïnstalleerd; ze vormen een
aanvulling op dat document.
De set is ontworpen om de installatie van een der
bovengenoemde luchtbuffer-uitvoeringen in een holte
in het plafond te vergemakkelijken.
De maximale effectieve hoogte van vloer tot plafond
waarbinnen de luchtbuffer kan worden geplaatst is
2,5m voor de CAB-serie en 3,5m voor de DAB-serie.
Het plafond kan of geconstrueerd zijn uit gipsplaat (of
een soortgelijk materiaal) of bestaan uit zwevende
tegels van 600 x 600mm.
Installatie in een plafond van gipsplaat (of een soortgelijk
materiaal)
Eerst dient te worden gecontroleerd of er boven het plafond voldoende ruimte
is voor het monteren van een luchtbuffer (zie Afb. 1 en Tabel 1 hieronder).

Er moet een gat worden aangebracht in het plafond, zoals aangegeven in
Afb. 1, midden boven en zo dicht mogelijk bij de deur (d.w.z. maak ‘W’ zo klein
mogelijk - zie Afb. 1).
Het kan nodig zijn om aan de binnenkant een steunchassis te maken rondom de
nieuw uitgesneden opening.
Vervolgens kan het chassis van het rooster ‘a’ worden bevestigd (zie Afb. 1).
Montage van de set met de inlaatklep
Gebruik de zijstukken van de klep als uitgangspunt om de klep met de hand de
juiste vorm te geven - zie ‘b’ in Afb. 2. Schroef de klep aan de zijstukken vast
met de bijgeleverde schroeven.
Vouw tenslotte de lipjes omhoog zoals aangegeven in Afb. 3.
Om de luchtinlaatklep te plaatsen, verwijdert u eerst het uitlaatrooster, het
onderste paneel en dan het inlaatrooster met toebehoren - zoals aangegeven in
Afb. 4.
Raadpleeg ook de installatie- en gebruiksinstructies van CAB/DAB.
De inlaatluchtklep kan vervolgens worden geplaatst met de lipjes die zijn
aangegeven in Afb. 3 en, zoals aangegeven in Afb. 5, met de meegeleverde
schroeven op het zijstuk worden bevestigd.
NB: Het is niet nodig om het inlaatrooster te vervangen.
Dimplex luchtbuffer - verzonken set
Uitvoeringen: CABKT10, CABKT15, DABKT10 & DABKT15
De luchtbuffer kan hierna in de holte in het plafond worden bevestigd (gebruik
staven met schroefdraad of haken die in de gaten aan de bovenkant van het
apparaat kunnen worden geschroefd), waarbij de luchtuitlaat midden boven de
deur wordt geplaatst - afstanden aangegeven bij ‘X’ - en zo dicht mogelijk bij het
meegeleverde roosterchassis - afstanden aangegeven bij ‘Z’ (max. 150mm) -
zoals te zien is in Afb. 1.
Het apparaat moet ook zo dicht mogelijk bij de deuropening worden geplaatst -
zie afstand ‘Y’ in Afb. 1 - en binnen de uitsparing voor het rooster zoals
aangegeven in Afb. 6, voor een optimale luchtstroom.
De voedingen voor de luchtbuffer (elektrisch of op basis van water) worden
vervolgens aangesloten zoals behandeld in de installatie- en gebruiksinstructies
van CAB/DAB.
Daarna kunnen het onderste paneel en het uitlaatrooster worden teruggeplaatst,
met de ribben van de uitlaat recht omlaag gericht.
Het installeren van de luchtbuffer dient te worden uitgevoerd door een vakkundige
elektricien overeenkomstig de geldende IEC-normen, voordat het
honingraatrooster in het chassis wordt geplaatst.
Installatie in een zwevend plafond
Eerst dient te worden gecontroleerd of er boven het plafond voldoende ruimte
is voor het monteren van een luchtbuffer - zie Tabel 2.

Laat een opening vrij van de gewenste breedte (midden boven en zo dicht
mogelijk bij de deuropening, d.w.z. zonder steunbalk voor de middelste
plafondtegel).
De luchtbuffer kan vervolgens in het plafond worden gemonteerd, zoals
aangegeven bij ‘Installatie in een plafond van gipsplaat’ en bij de installatie- en
gebruiksinstructies voor CAB/DAB.
Het honingraatrooster kan dan direct (zonder lijst) in de uitgespaarde tegelopening
worden geplaatst.
Onderbreekcircuit thermische beveiliging
De stroomtoevoer naar de hitte-elementen zal worden onderbroken als zich een
van de volgende omstandigheden voordoet:
1. Luchtinlaatklep of uitlaatroosters geblokkeerd
2. Inwendige ventilatie gebrekkig door aangekoekte stof en pluisjes.
3. Haperende aanjager
Om de thermische beveiliging terug te stellen naar nul, haalt u de inlaatklep
weg om bij de terugstelknoppen te kunnen komen (zie ‘x’ in Afb. 7). Ga voordat
u terugstelt naar nul na wat de reden was voor de onderbreking en pak de
oorzaak aan.
Reiniging
WAARSCHUWING: SCHAKEL NETVOEDING UIT alvorens onderhoud uit
te voeren.
Wrijf de buitenkant van het apparaat zo nu en dan schoon met een vochtige
doek; breng voor het verwijderen van vlekken met een doek een mild zeepsopje
aan en wrijf droog. Pas op en voorkom dat vocht het product kan binnendringen.

Queste istruzioni per l’installazione devono essere
lette assieme al manuale di istruzioni della barriera
d’aria installata, del quale vogliono essere un
supplemento.
Il kit è stato concepito per facilitare l’installazione di
uno dei modelli di barriere d’aria sopra citati in un
recesso del soffitto.
L’altezza massima effettiva dal pavimento al soffitto
nel quale viene installata la barriera d’aria è 2,5 m per
la serie CAB e 3,5 m per la serie DAB.
Il soffitto può essere costituito sia da pannello gessato
- o plasterboard - (o simili) o da pannelli sospesi di
600 x 600 mm.
Installazione su un soffitto in pannello gessato (o simili)
Innanzitutto è necessario assicurarsi che vi sia spazio sufficiente sopra al
soffitto per installare la barriera d’aria (vedere Fig. 1 e Tabella 1 sotto).

Ricavare un foro nel soffitto, come illustrato in Fig. 1, in modo che sia il più
possibile vicino e centrale rispetto alla porta (ridurre al minimo ‘W’ - vedere
Fig. 1).
Potrebbe rendersi necessario installare una cornice interna di supporto attorno
all’apertura appena ricavata.
A questo punto, la griglia ‘a’ può essere messa in posizione (vedere Fig. 1).
Assemblaggio del kit del condotto da incasso
Servendosi dei tappi terminali del condotto come guida, imprimere manualmente
la forma corretta al condotto - vedere ‘b’ in Fig. 2. Fissare il condotto ai tappi
terminali mediante le viti fornite in dotazione.
Infine, piegare verso l’alto le linguette come mostrato in Fig. 3.
Per installare il condotto della presa dell’aria, rimuovere dapprima la griglia di
mandata dell’aria, il pannello inferiore e la griglia di presa dell’aria – come
illustrato in Fig. 4.
Fare riferimento alle ‘Istruzioni per l’installazione e il funzionamento CAB/DAB’.
Il condotto della presa dell'aria può quindi essere posizionato mediante le
linguette mostrate in Fig. 3, sistemato come illustrato in Fig. 5 e avvitato al
tappo terminale del condotto.
Nota: non è necessario riposizionare la griglia di presa dell’aria.
Barriera d’aria Dimplex – Kit di installazione ad incasso
Modelli: CABKT10, CABKT15, DABKT10 & DABKT15
Ora è possibile montare la barriera d’aria nel recesso del soffitto (mediante una
barra filettata o ganci avvitati negli inserti filettati situati nella parte superiore
dell’apparecchiatura) posizionando l’uscita dell’aria al centro sopra la porta
lungo l’asse ‘X’ e il più possibile vicino alla griglia fornita in dotazione lungo
l’asse ‘Z’ (150mm max.), come mostrato in Fig.1.
L’apparecchiatura deve essere collocata il più possibile vicino all’apertura della
porta anche lungo l’asse ‘Y’, come mostrato in Fig. 1, e dentro all’apertura
della griglia, come mostrato in Fig. 6, per ottenere il flusso d’aria ottimale.
L’alimentazione della barriera d’aria (elettrica o ad acqua) viene poi eseguita in
base alle ‘Istruzioni per l’installazione e il funzionamento CAB/DAB’.
Ora il pannello inferiore e la griglia di mandata dell’aria possono essere riposizionati
e le alette di uscita direzionate verso il basso.
L’installazione della barriera d’aria deve essere eseguita da un elettricista
competente e in conformità ai regolamenti IEE vigenti prima di reinserire la
griglia a reticolo nella relativa cornice.
Installazione su un soffitto sospeso
Innanzitutto è necessario assicurarsi che vi sia spazio sufficiente sopra al
soffitto per installare la barriera d’aria (vedere Tabella 2).

È necessario lasciare un'apertura di ampiezza sufficiente (quanto più possibile
vicina e centrale rispetto alla porta e senza la barra di supporto del pannello
centrale).
La barriera d’aria può dunque essere installata nel recesso del soffitto come
descritto in ‘Installazione su un soffitto in pannello gessato’ e nelle ‘Istruzioni
per l’installazione e il funzionamento CAB/DAB’.
Solo il nucleo della griglia a reticolo può essere inserito direttamente nell’apertura
lasciata nel soffitto.
Interruttori di sicurezza termici
La corrente elettrica viene esclusa dagli elementi riscaldanti qualora si verifichi
uno o più dei seguenti casi:
1. Le griglie di presa o di mandata dell’aria sono ostruite.
2. La ventilazione interna è danneggiata da un accumulo di polvere e
lanugine.
3. Il ventilatore si spegne.
Per resettare gli interruttori di sicurezza termici, accedere ai pulsanti per il reset
(vedere ‘x’ in Fig. 7) rimuovendo il condotto di presa dell’aria. Prima di effettuare
il reset, è necessario determinare il motivo dell’attivazione e correggerlo.
Pulitura
AVVERTENZA: SCOLLEGARE LA CORRENTE ELETTRICA prima di eseguire
opere di manutenzione.
Per tenere pulite le unità, è sufficiente passarvi sopra di tanto in tanto un panno
inumidito; per rimuovere possibili macchie, strofinare la superficie con un
panno bagnato in una soluzione di acqua e poco sapone, quindi asciugare. È
necessario evitare di far colare liquidi di alcun genere all’interno del prodotto.

W celu uzyskania optymalnego przep³ywu powietrza urz¹dzenie nale¿y
równie¿ umiejscowiæ jak najbli¿ej otworu drzwiowego, w granicach wymiaru
„Y” na rys. 1, oraz w obrêbie otworu kratki maskuj¹cej, zgodnie z rys. 6.
Nastêpnie doprowadzane jest zasilanie kurtyny powietrznej (pr¹dem lub
wod¹), zgodnie z „Instrukcj¹ instalacji i obs³ugi urz¹dzenia CAB/DAB”.
Kolejny krok to ponowny monta¿ dolnej pokrywy oraz kratki wylotowej, z
³opatkami wylotu skierowanymi prosto w dó³.
Instalacja kurtyny powietrznej powinna byæ przeprowadzana przez
kompetentnego elektryka, zgodnie z przepisami IEE dotycz¹cymi okablowania,
przed ponownym osadzeniem kratki maskuj¹cej w jej ramie.
