Operating Instructions
Before connecting, operating, or adjusting this product, please read these instructions completely.
Precautions
Safety
1. The unit should be connected to power supply only of the type described in the operating instructions or as marked on the unit.
2. The AC power plug will fit into the AC wall outlet in one way only. Do not try to force the plug in the outlet if it doesn”t fit.
3. AC power supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against
them.
Never take hold of the plug or cord if your hand is wet. Grasp only the plug body when connecting or disconnecting the ac power.
4. Turn off the power when the unit is not in used. When the unit is not in used for an extended period of time, disconnected the AC
power from the wall AC power outlet.
5. Do not use this unit near water including but not limited to a bathtub, washbowl, swimming pool, spa, sinks, and other similar water
sources. Damp and extreme humid rooms should also be avoided, such as basements, crawl spaces, and the like.
6. The unit should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heaters, vents, and other similar heating elements.
The unit should be only used indoors and in a room with temperature between 5° C and 35° C.
7. The unit should be situated so that its location or position allows for good ventilation. A minimum of 4” (10cm) clearance on all sides
from any foreign object is recommended.
8. Care should be taken so that objects do not fall into and liquids are not spilled onto unit. Do not subject this unit to excessive
smoke, dust, vibrations, extreme temperature and humidity, or shock.
9. The volume of the radio should be set to the lowest possible to avoid any damage to your hearing. The radio should not be on loud
for any extended period of time. Turn off the radio if you are experiencing any hearing pain and should seek medical attention im-
mediately. Seek professional advice if you are unsure what a safe hearing level is.
10. The unit should be situated away from equipment or devices that generate strong magnetism.
11. The unit shall be placed on a flat level surface only. The unit is not designed to be wall mounted, ceiling mounted, or any other
mounting methods not described herein.
12. Clean the unit with a soft dry cloth. Do not use any type of abrasive pad, scouring powder, or any other liquids or cleaning solvents.
13. The unit shall be serviced by qualified service personnel when:
a. The AC power supply cord, the plug, the AC adapter, or any other part of the AC power supply has been damaged; or
b. Objects have fallen or liquid has been spilled onto the unit; or
c. The unit has been exposed to rain or moisture; or
d. The unit does not appear to operate normally or exhibits a marked change in performance; or
e. The unit has been dropped, or the enclosure damaged.
14. Users should not attempt to service the unit beyond that described in this operating instructions. All other servicing should be refer-
red to qualified service personnel. Do not remove any screws unless instructed. Do not attempt to fix this unit.
15. Do not dispose this unit in a fire. IT MAY EXPLODE.
16. Keep unit away from small children. The unit or parts of the unit might be a choking hazard.
17. Dispose the unit legally.
18. Recycle when possible.

Getting started:
This unit can be powered by AC adapter or dry cell batteries.
1. Plug in AC adapter in DC-IN 6V jack (11) for AC adapter (not included).
2. Replace or install 4x “AA” size batteries (not included).
There are also separate dry cell batteries for the clock and alarm.
1. Remove clock batteries insulating tap in the battery compartment (8) on the back of the unit. (See figure 2).
It is not necessary to remove any screws.
2. Replace with 3x “AG-10” size button cell batteries in the battery compartment (8) when batteries are low.
The button size batteries are located under the “AA” size batteries.
Batteries safety warnings:
1. Please read all instructions carefully before use.
2. Install batteries correctly by matching the polarities (+/-).
3. Always replace a complete set of batteries.
4. Never mix used and new batteries.
5. Remove exhausted batteries immediately.
6. Remove batteries when not in use.
7. Do not recharge and do not dispose of batteries in fire as the batteries may explode.
8. Ensure batteries are stored away from metal objects as contact may cause a short circuit.
9. Avoid exposing batteries to temperature or humidity extremes or direct sunlight.
10. Keep all batteries out of reach from children. They are a choking hazard.
11. Please retain packaging for future reference.
To set time and calendar:
1. Press and hold “SET” button (4) for approximately 2 seconds and the time display will flash.
2. Press “+ TURN -” button (1) to change the hour setting. Press “SET” button (4) to confirm.
3. Press “+ TURN -” button (1) to change the minute setting. Press “SET” button (4) to confirm.
4. Press “+ TURN -” button (1) to change the year setting. Press “SET” button (4) to confirm.
5. Press “+ TURN -” button (1) to change the month setting. Press “SET” button (4) to confirm.
6. Press “+ TURN -” button (1) to change the date setting. Press “SET” button (4) to confirm.
AM/PM and 24-hour CLOCK
1. When the current time is showing, press “+ TURN -” button (1) to change from AM/PM and 24-hour clock.
Current time and alarm time:
1. Press “MODE” button (3) once to change between alarm time and current time. “ALARM” will be shown for alarm mode.
2. When the current time is displayed, the colon between the hour and minute display will flash.
3. When the alarm time is displayed, the colon between the hour and minute display will NOT flash.
Set Alarm time with beep beep sound:
1. When alarm time is showing, press “SET” button (4) once and the display will flash.
2. Press “+ TURN -” button (1) to change the hour setting. Press “SET” button (4) to confirm.
3. Press “+ TURN -” button (1) to change the minute setting. Press “SET” button (4) to confirm.
Set Alarm time with wake-up radio:
1. When alarm time is showing, press “RADIO” button (2) and “RADIO” will be shown on the display.
2. Press “SET” button (4) once and the display will flash.
3. Press “+ TURN -” button (1) to change the hour setting. Press “SET” button (4) to confirm.
4. Press “+ TURN -” button (1) to change the minute setting. Press “SET” button (4) to confirm.

Alarm to sound
1. When the time is showing, press “ALARM” button (5) to turn alarm on and off. “ALARM” will be shown with alarm is activated.
2. Press “Mode” button (3) to turn off alarm or alarm will turn off after 1 minute of alarm sounding.
3. When the alarm goes on, press “SNOOZE” button (7) to activate snooze. “SNOOZE” will be shown when snooze is activated.
Alarm will turn on again in 5 minutes. The alarm will snooze twice.
4. Alarm will not sound when the radio or the MP3 player is playing.
Clock Display
1. With “DISPLAY ON/OFF” switch (9) on, backlight LED clock display will be on permanently.
2. With “DISPLAY ON/OFF” switch (9) off, backlight LED clock display will be on for approximately for 10 seconds after touching the
clock.
3. Please note this is a sound activated display. The display need to be on for the radio.
Radio Operation
1. Press “RADIO” button (2) to power on and off the radio.
2. Press “+ TURN -” button (1) to manually tune for radio frequency.
3. Press and hold “+ TURN -” button (1) to automatically tune for the former or next radio frequency.
4. Press “+ VOL -” button (6) to control the volume.
5. Extend and change the position of the FM antenna (13) to receive the best radio reception.
Relocate the radio for best reception if required.
Radio Memory
1. Follow the above instructions for radio operations.
2. Once desired station is reached, press and hold “SET” button (4) for approximately 3 seconds until a “beep” sound is heard.
This will save the radio station frequency.
3. Scan for the next station and repeat the above step to save up to 20 radio stations.
4. Press “SET” button (4) to play pre-saved radio station. Press “SET” button (4) again for the next station.
5. Press “+ VOL -” button (6) to change the volume
Third party music player
1. This unit may be used as a speaker playing music from another music player (not included) through the Auxiliary line-in jack (12).
2. With music player playing and plugged into Auxiliary line-in jack (12), press “RADIO” button (2) to turn on/off speaker.
Sleep Mode
1. When the radio or the digital music player is on, press “ALARM” button (5) for 3 seconds to turn on sleep mode.
2. Press ”+ TURN -” button (1) to adjust sleeping time from 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, or 60 minutes.
Press “ALARM” button (6) to confirm and exit setting.
3. “SLEEP” will be shown when sleep mode is activated.
If the function is abnormal, please press “RESET” key to restart.
