¢ To change the file to be played:

¢ Playing in repeat order:

Press [DISPLAY] during playback.
• When writing MP3/WMA files on a CD-R or CD-RW disc, set the
writing software’s format to “ISO9660 Level 1”. The files may not
play properly if they are recorded in other formats. Also note that
with some writing software it is not possible to record in ISO9660
format. For details, refer to the instructions of your writing software.
• The DVD-2930CI is compatible with the “MPEG-1 Audio Layer-3”
MP3 standard (sampling frequency (fs) of 32, 44.1 or 48 kHz).
Not compatible with other formats such as “MPEG-2 Audio Layer-
3”, “MPEG-2.5 Audio Layer-3”, “MP1”, “MP2”, “MP3 PRO”, etc.
• The DVD-2930CI is compatible with WMA files with sampling
frequencies (fs) of 32, 44.1 or 48 kHz.
• The DVD-2930CI is compatible with MP3 files with bit rates of 32 to
320 kbps, WMA files with bit rates of 64 to 160 kbps.
• Be sure to add the extensions “.MP3” or “.mp3” to MP3 files,
respectively.

• The DVD-2930CI can play [discs containing] up to 255 folders and
1000 files.
• When playing MP3 or WMA files, the signals are converted to PCM
for output from the digital output terminals.

11 characters (letters of the English alphabet, numbers and the “_”
(underscore) sign) are displayed. Characters that cannot be
displayed are indicated by an “
✽
” (asterisk).
• Copyright-protected files cannot be played.
Note that depending on the software used for burning and other
conditions, some files may not play or display correctly.
• The positions of the folders or files may have been changed by the
writing software when burning the MP3/WMA files onto the CD-
R/CD-RW disc, so the files may not play in the expected order.
• The DVD-2930CI is not compatible with the ID3-Tag function.
• The DVD-2930CI is not compatible with packet-write software.
• The DVD-2930CI is not compatible with playlists.
