Remote control unit operations during
multi-source playback (selecting the source)
1Set the MODE 1 switch to the “AUDIO”.
2Set the MODE 2 switch to the “ZONE2”.
3Press the ZONE2 ON button.
To cancel the ZONE2 mode:
Press the ZONE2 OFF button.
4Press the FUNCTION button.
The ZONE2 source switches directly.
5The output level of the ZONE2 SPEAKER OUT
terminals can be controlled pressing the
VOLUME button on the remote control unit.
Default setting (ZONE2 VOLUME LEVEL):
– – – dB (MINIMUM)
6When the ZONE2 SOURCE function is set to
TUNER, the preset channel can be selected
using the CHANNEL button on the remote
control unit.
This is only possible when the main unit in the ZONE2 mode
( page 43).
Outputting a program source to amplifier,
etc., in a different room (ZONE2 mode)
1Press the ZONE2/REC SELECT button to display
the “ZONE2 SOURCE” on the display.
The display switches as follows each time the button is
pressed.
2Turn the FUNCTION knob to select the source
you want to output appears on the display.
3Start playing the source to be output.
For operating instructions, refer to the manuals of the
respective components.
To cancel, turn the FUNCTION knob and select “SOURCE”.
