1.1.5. Fitting the Safety Flag
The flag is inserted in a hole to the top of
the rear left frame tube. There is a slit
provided in the fabric cover at this point.
If necessary pull the slit into the right
position so as to insert the safety flag.
Push the safety flag in until it goes no
further.
When using the trailer in the dark, an
additional rear light is required by law.
If only one battery light is attached, it
needs to be on the left hand side in
direction of travel (in countries where
the traffic drives on the left, the battery
light must be attached to the flap on
the right hand side). Flashing lights are
prohibited in some countries, e.g. in
Germany.
There are two web loops sewn above the reflective strips at the back of the transporter for attaching 1 or 2 diode rear lights.
Note:
Please ensure when buying lights that they conform to the appropriate legal
requirements of the country they are used in and also bear an approval mark
(e.g. K mark in Germany).
