Rechargeable batteries may not be disposed with household w aste. They may contain toxic heavy metals
and are subject to hazardous w aste regulations. The chemical symbols of the heavy metals are: Cd =
cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. Ther efore dispose of used rechar geable batteries through a local
collection point.
Improper disposal of rechar geable batteries destroy s valuable resources and the hazar dous substances
in the rechargeable batteries may pose a significant danger to human health and envir onment. Separate
collection/disposal of rechargeable batteries pre vents dangers to human health and envir onment, and
valuable resour ces are regained b y recycling.
7. Warranty
Dear customer ,
The warranty for this product is 3 years fr om the date of purchase. In the event of pr oduct defects, you
have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Y our legal rights are not limited in any w ay by our
warranty detailed below .
7.1 Warranty terms
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original receipt in a safe place. This
document is required as y our proof of purchase. Should this device sho w any fault in materials or manu
-
facture within three year s from date of purchase, it will be repair ed or replaced - at our choice - by us fr ee
of charge. This warranty is conditional on the defective product and the r eceipt of purchase being presented
within the three year warr anty per iod, and on there being a brief written description of the nature of the
defect and of the date it arose. If the defect is cov ered by our warr anty, we will r eturn the repaired device
or replacement thereof. A repair or e xchange of the device does not e xtend a new warr anty period. Repairs
made under warranty do not extend the warranty period. This also applies to replaced and repair ed parts.
Any damage or defects present at the time of pur chase must be reported immediately after unpacking the
appliance. Repairs made after the warranty period has expired are subject to payment.
7.2 Extent of warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined bef ore delivery.
The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This guarantee does not apply to product parts
which are subject to normal wear and tear and can be regar ded as wearing parts, or for damage to break
-
able parts, e.g., switch, rechar geable batteries, or parts which are made of glass. This warranty becomes

4.3 Charging the headlight / tail light (see Fig. A + D)

charger with 5 V DC and 500-1000mA . Using charger with different specifications can damage the
batteries, and in turn the headlight and tail light. This will void the warranty .

monitor lights up green whilst charging. When the r echargeable batteries are ready for use, all 4
charging LEDs of the headlight rechargeable battery control system light up continuously and the
rechargeable battery control system on the tail light extinguishes. The headlight

For the built-in batteries to operate at full pow er , be sure to charge the headlight battery for at least
6 hours when charging for the first time (tail light battery: at least 5 hours). Please do not stop charg-
ing sooner , even if the LED is alr eady extinguished. After this, the recommended charging time for the
headlight is approx. 3.5 hour s (recommended charging time for the tail light is 2.5 hours).
5. Cleaning and care
Never fully immerse the headlight and tail light in w ater. Do no t use corrosive or abrasiv e cleaning
agents. These will damage the product.
Use a dry, lint-free cloth for cleaning and car e.
6. Disposal
The packaging is made from en vironmentally-friendly materials which can be disposed of through your
local recycling facilities.
Contact your local waste disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of y our worn-out product.
4. Operation

2.1 Rechargeable batter y safet y notes
CAUTION! DANGER OF EXPLOSION! K eep rechargeable batteries away from
children, do not thro w rechargeable batteries into fire, do not short-circuit and do not tak e
apart.
Failure to observe this may discharge the rechar geable battery beyond their end voltage. This poses
a risk of leaking.
Avoid contact with the skin, e yes and mucous membranes if fluid has leak ed from the rechargeable
batteries. In the event of contact with battery acid, thoroughly flush the affected area with clean wa
-
ter and seek immediate medical attention.

3. Installation

1.1 Intended use
This product is suitable for lighting the roadw ay whilst cycling. The LED bik e light set is approv ed as exclusiv e
lighting for all bicycles. Light distribution must not be impair ed by other bicycle parts or cargo. The product is
intended for outdoor use. Any use not described abov e or product modification is prohibited and can
result in injuries and product damage. The manufacturer assumes no liability for damage resulting fr om
improper use. This product is not intended for commer cial use.
