users guide and the operation of the Archimedes II. Serious
damages or death can result if theses guidelines are not clearly
understood.
Archimedes II Cressi-sub computer’s watch and calendar
function (see picture 1) are always on, and the related battery
consumption is unnoticeable.
Operational functions are easily visible either by depressing but-
tons B (Mode), A or C, or when the contacts get wet during a
diving activity (the dive program turns on at a depth greater than
5 ft. and are illustrated by the figures shown on its large display.
In order to understand all the computer’s functions and their
meaning, the guide is divided into five main chapters, dealing
with every possible situation:
• 1 - Introduction and safety measures
• 2 - Before diving
• 3 - While diving
• 4 - On surface after diving
• 5 - Care and maintenance
The Archimedes II is designed to be easily understood and
operated. It displays only the data needed during specific
situations.
