Before you set out
• Heavy items should be placed
on the axle line even if only the
roof rack is used. Be aware of the
added weight if a kitchen is later
fitted and adjust the balance
accordingly. The weight at
the hitch should be between 44-
110 pounds (20 to 50 Kg.).
• Do not place luggage too close
to the outer walls of the trailer -
there must be 8 inches of space
left to accommodate the tent and
frames. This will ensure proper
closure of the trailer lid.
• The approved gross weight of all
COMBI-CAMP trailer are written
on the factory ID-sign. Payload
will differ from type to type and
the amount of equipment fitted.
PLEASE NOTE!
Unzip the tent
door and close the
vent flap when
folding down the
trailer tent.
• NEVER OVERLOAD
THE TRAILER!!!
• Drive Tarpaulin to cover the roof
rack is available as an optional
extra for all COMBI-CAMP models.
Packing of the Cargo box:
The cargo box is used for the
heavy objects such as the awning
and frames.
The cargo box is excellent for items
that are not in every day use or as
a safe when you are sleeping.
Check points:
• Close and securely lock all locks
on trailer and kitchen
• Check the proper function of all
road lights before you start your
trip.
• It is important to tighten wheel nuts
after driving the first 200 Km.
• If your COMBI-CAMP is equipped
with brakes, they must be adjusted
after driving the first 200 Km.
• Check your tyre pressure. Loads up
to 500 kg 20 PSI - 1.5 BAR. Loads
up to 750 kg 30 PSI - 2.1 BAR.
• Check that your hitch is correctly
attached to the car.
• Check that the jockey wheel is
tightened and in it upper position.
• Check your trailer speed limits
especially in foreign
countries and fit
your national identi-
fication plate. In the
UK it is maximum
60 Mph. (never
overtake in the third
lane on motorways
only use nearside
and middle lane)
Packing the COMBI-CAMP:
• Inside the closed trailer there is
room for approx. 34 cubic feet
(1 cubic metre) worth of luggage
space. Furthermore, there is luggage
space on the roof rack and in the
cargo carrier fitted under the
bedroom floor. Please note that
packing must be carried out in a
way that ensures the balance of the
trailer.
