1- WARNING
The warranty of the heater will not cover any damage caused by non
observance of any of these instructions.
This guide must be kept and given to any new owner.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance must not be made by children without supervision.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off
the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended
normal operating position and they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall
not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously
supervised.
CAUTION: Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause
burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and
vulnerable people are present.
Should the heater be moved and reinstalled, it is essential that the work is
carried out by a competent electrician.
The use of these heaters is forbidden in any area where there is a presence
of gases, explosives or inflammable objects.
Neither the connecting cable nor any other object must come into contact with
the hot unit.
Check that the voltage shown on the rating plate on the heater is the same
as the voltage of the supply to which connection is to be made.
WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater. Do not
use this heater to dry clothes.
The air outlet at the top of the thermal radiator and the air inlet at the bottom
are provided to ensure the most efficient operation of the appliance. They also

protect the heater from overheating; therefore, it is essential that at no time
are they covered.
This heater should be switched off at the isolating switch before any repair
work is carried out. This action should also be taken during the times of the
year when heat is not required.
The radiator should not be installed just below an electrical socket or in front
of a socket outlet.
The appliance must be installed in such a way that switches and other control
devices cannot be touched by a person using a bath or shower.
The installation must be carried out in accordance with the current electrical
regulations.
The heater is fitted with a flexible cable size 3 x 1.00 mm2 for electrical
connection. It may be used to connect the heater to the fixed wiring of the
premised through a suitable connection box positioned adjacent to the heater.
The supply circuit to the heater must incorporate a double pole isolating
switch having a contact separation of at least 3 mm.
If the flexible supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a repair
workshop recognised by the manufacturer, in order to avoid hazard.
All models are supplied with an electrical interrupt cut-out. This will switch
off the heater if, for any reason, it overheats. Should the cut-out operate, turn
the heater off and remove the cause for the overheating. The cut-out will be
reset automatically.
The presence in the air of particles of smoke, dust and other pollutants could,
in time, discolour the walls and surfaces around the heater.

2- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Open the package and check that it is the
correct model and it is in good condition.
- To obtain optimum performances it is
necessary to maintain a minimum clearance
of 15 cm between the radiator and any
inflammable material as furniture, curtains
etc.
- Recommended clearances required to
maintain are indicated on the following
figure:
- Once decided the location to install the device, remove the packaging and
extract the device and its mounting kit:
This kit has to be assembled for safety:
-Fix the support to the wall using it as a pattern. A correct stabilization of the
support clamp is required. The image below shows where to drill to fix the
support (recommended distance). Note: first fix the screws of the upper part to
the wall with appropriate rawl plugs, once the support is properly levelled, then
fix the screw of lower bar too.

proceed to screw the support to the lower
part of the heater.
3- USING THE INERTIA RADIATOR, SMART TOUCH RANGES
3.1 STARTING THE DEVICE
First, plug in the power cord to a mains power outlet, and click the switch on the right. The
display starts, shows a welcome message, and shows OFF. To start the device, press the
“POWER” button; set temperature appears on the screen.
3.2 SETTING DATE AND TIME
A. Press OK for a few seconds.
B. The display shows CONFIG TIME. If not, press  until you see and press OK.
C. Set the hour (H) using; to validate press OK.
D. Set the minutes (M) using; to validate press OK.
E. Press  to select the day of the week (DAY 1 Monday, DAY 2 Tuesday); to validate press
OK.

the values and navigate through the

not, then it is working in automatic as
per the set programming.

Date and time are now set. Press ESC and select the comfort temperature pressing the
arrows. Your device is now working!
3.3 MANUAL MODE
In this mode, the device works as per factory set. All you have to do is press  to select
the desired temperature.
The set temperature can be modified from 15º C to 28º C in intervals of 0.5.
How to select the manual mode?
- Press OK
- Press  and select MAN; press OK to confirm.
- Press  and confirm the desired temperature.
Press POWER BUTTON to switch off the unit, the display shows OFF.
If the device is OFF, the FROST setting automatically activates to prevent temperature being
below 7ºC.
3.4 AUTOMATIC MODE
In this mode the device works time schedule. It can work as per factory set (see table below)
or according to the user’s configuration.

Before setting the device, take into account the following:
- OFF, the device is programmed to switch off.
- ECO, economy temperature, 3ºC below set temperature.
- ON, comfort temperature. Temperature selected by the user as room temperature. It can
be modified in the manual or automatic mode when shown on the display.
How to select custom programming?
- Press OK
- Press key , select AUTO; press OK to validate.
- The display will show the set temperature together with a red dot that indicates the
unit is working in automatic mode.
If AUTOMATIC mode is selected the heater cannot be turned off. To turn off the device,
enter mode (MODE/OK), select MAN using  and press OK. Now you can turn off the
device using
How to carry out a custom programming?
If you need to programme several days on identical conditions, programme one day
and copy the remaining ones. See Function COPY DAY (section 2.7)
A.- Press OK for a few seconds.
B.- Press , select SELECT DAY and press OK to validate.
C.- Press , select the day to set and press OK to validate.
D.- We start at 00.00 h., use  to select the desired temperature (ON -set temperature-;
ECO -3ºC below set temperature-; OFF switch off). Press Ok to validate.
E.- Go on programming the remaining hours until 23.00 h; at this stage the display shows
the day to programme.
If we want to set the remaining days, turn to B; if not press
3.5 PILOT WIRING MODE
In this mode the device works following instructions of an external unit.
How to select FP mode?
A.- Press OK
B.- Press key , select FP; press OK to validate.
C.- The display will show the set temperature together with a red dot that indicates the
unit is working in FP mode.
If FP mode is selected the heater cannot be turned off. To turn off the device, enter mode
(MODE), select MAN using  and press OK. Now you can turn off the device using

3.6 COPY FUNCTION
This function enables you to copy existing time programmes. To copy the setting of one
day into another, do as follows:
A.- Press OK for a few seconds.
B.- Press , select COPY DAY and press OK to validate.
C.- Press , select the day to set and press OK to validate.
D.- Press , select the day to copy; press OK to validate.
If we want to go on copying into other days, turn to B. If not, press
3.7 KEY BLOCK FUCTION
This function enables to block the controls. To set this function, do as follows:
A.- Press OK for a few seconds.
B.- Press , select PROTEC and press OK to validate.
C.- Press , select ON, and press OK to validate.
To unlock the device, wait until dashes disappear from the screen; press key for 5
seconds; press to validate.
3.8 SOUND FUNCTION
SOUND function enables to activate and deactivate the beep emitted on touching the
buttons. To activate or deactivate do as following:
o Press button OK for a few seconds
o Press , select SOUND, and press OK to confirm.
o Press , select ON or OFF to activate or deactivate the beep, and press Ok to
confirm.
3.9 OTHER INFORMATION
- If we enter a submenu, and stop using the device for a few seconds, it automatically
returns to the main menu.
- If we are in the main menu, and the device is not being manipulated; it will turn to stand-
by mode and the display will only show a dot. Touch any button to redisplay the main
menu.
- To turn on the screen again, press any key on the button panel.
- Being the device OFF, the radiator can start working. This is because it has a minimum
set temperature as per factory set, 7ºC. This mode is called FROST PROTECTION –it
prevents room temperature going below said temperature.
- The device is provided with a protection against loss of temperature caused by open
window, air conditioners, or any other circumstance that may prevent the radiator from
raising the room temperature. This mode activates when the temperature decreases 3ºC
in 5 minutes. At this stage, the radiator turns off and shows OPEN on the display; this
mode stays until this decreasing tendency disappears.
- On unplugging the device, it may beep; this indicates the discharge of the capacitors.
This does not affect the radiator’s output.

4- USING THE INERTIA RADIATOR, SMART EASY TECH RANGES
4.1 STARTING THE DEVICE
First, plug in the power cord to a mains power outlet, and click the switch on the right.
Press to turn on the radiator, ECO light turns on.
4.2 SET UP TEMPERATURE .
Once the unit is ON, press to select the desired temperature. Depending on the temperature
selected, light displayed is different; see images below
18ºC19ºC21ºC
22ºC  24ºC
4.3 SELECT THE OPERATING MODE
There are 4 operating modes:
Manual: The user determines the setpoint temperature.
Timer: The user selects both the setpoint temperature and the operating time or
downtime.
Replay: The user selects desired temperature and time duration. The unit automatically
will start and stop.
Pilot Wiring.
Manual Mode
To select temperature, press repeatedly until the light activates on the desired temperature
(see figures 2.2).
Timer Mode
Timer connection: The device will work at the preset temperature as per user’s
configuration
Press to select the desired temperature
Press to select the operating time. By pressing repeatedly, operating hours or a
combination of operating hours will be selected. E.g.
The unit is programmed at 21ºC during 5 hours.

To deactivate the timer function press repeatedly until the time LEDs are deactivated.
Timer disconnection: The device will stop working as per user’s configuration.
On starting the device again, press to select the temperature to reach.
Press during 2 seconds to switch to OFF mode.
Press to select the switch-off time of the device. Press and hold repeatedly to select the
operating hours or the combination of operating hours of the device. I.e.:
The device is disconnected during 5 hours
To deactivate the timer function press repeatedly
Replay Mode
Press to select the desired temperature.
Press to select the operating cycle. By pressing it repeatedly, programmed hours or a
combination of programmed hours will be selected.
To select the replay mode, press for a few seconds, time lights start to flash, replay mode
is activated.
Programming time starts as soon as it is set. e.g.
5- CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- The radiators do not precise any special maintenance providing thermal comfort during
large periods. Clean dust with a dry, soft cloth only when the unit is disconnected and
cold.
- Keep the floor clean to avoid stains on the wall.
- At the beginning of the year’s heating season, the inner parts of the radiator should be
vacuumed because dust can be accumulated in the heating element while the time of the
year that the radiator is been off.
- Do not use solvents or abrasive products for cleaning.
- After the heating season disconnect the radiator with the switch located on the right side
of the radiator.
- This inertia radiator has been manufactured under an assured quality system using
environment friendly processes.
- Please take the heaters to a clean point once their useful life is finished, in order to
recycle their materials in the right way.

8- GUARANTEE TERMS
CLIMASTAR. guarantees that in the moment of its purchase the product is free of any defect in the
materials and in the work force (limited guarantee). CLIMASTAR offers a commercial and voluntary
guarantee; conditions included are similar to those of the legal guarantee, being CLIMASTAR responsible
for the non-conformities arisen in the terms and conditions mentioned below. Moreover, CLIMASTAR
offers a total warranty of 2 years in the spare parts.
- CLIMASTAR is responsible for the non-conformities arisen within the 6 months following the date
of sale. If the non-conformity arises after those 6 months, the user shall prove that the non-
conformity already existed when delivered. The user must inform CLIMASTAR of said non-
conformity in a period inferior to two months.
- To obtain the service under the terms of this warranty it is important to detail the device’s purchasing
date because the warranty period starts with the purchase invoice of the system customer. However,
in no case this warranty will be liable for defects that may arise after thirty-six months from the
manufacture date.
- This warranty is strictly limited to the repairing in the factory of the manufacturing defect part or
parts of the device, or to the complete replacement of the system when, in the opinion of the
manufacturer, it is not possible or is uneconomical. This does not include any other type of
expenditure as an installation, assembly, disassembly or transport.
- This warranty does not cover defects and / or malfunction caused by accidents, misuse, negligence,
wears, breakage, an incorrect installation and poor electricity supply to the system. This warranty is
also excluded if it is used with another purpose other than heating, for an alteration, modification,
tampering or unauthorized repairing of the product, and by other different causes beyond the
manufacturer’s reach after the delivery of the product.
- The warranty does not cover the costs and expenses incurred to access the device or installation, such
as in hidden locations, heights, non-practicable ceilings.. Neither does it include the costs derived
from removing or replacing any structural element to access the device or the installation.
- No heating system will be returned to CLIMASTAR without a previous codified and official
MERCHANDISE RETURN AUTHORITATION. CLIMASTAR assumes no liability for any
equipment that is returned without the previously mentioned MERCHANDISE RETURN
AUTHORIZATION.
- CLIMASTAR and/or its agents have the right to decide whether to replace the system or to repair the
damaged components. None of these options will extend the original warranty period.
- Any reparation must be done by the Technical Service and authorized by the manufacturer and/or
any of its agents; any manipulation done by unauthorized personal will void this warranty. In case of
substitution of the device the buyer must go to the selling centre which will be in charge of receiving
the system.
- RESPONSIBILITY LIMITATION: CLIMASTAR as a manufacturer is not responsible for any
personal or material damage that directly or indirectly might result of a non proper installation, from
an improper handling or neither for the lack of technical qualified staff, nor for the installation costs
which are expressly excluded from this warranty.
- None of the present conditions might be extended or modified without the express consent of
CLIMASTAR
