Use
1. Place the machine on a flat surface.
2. Open the water boiler with the button on the lid. Fill it with water. Fill only up to
the maximum mark (MAX). You can check the level on both sides of the applian-
ce with the water level display.
3. Close the lid.
4. Place the kettle flush on the base.
5. Electrical connection
• Check whether the electrical voltage that you intend to use is the same as
that of the machine. Details are to be found on the label on the base.
• Only connect the machine to a properly installed 230 V, 50 Hz safety socket.
6. Switch on the appliance with the switch on the handle. The LED on the kettle
lights up.
7. After boiling the machine switches off automatically. Disconnect the machine
from the mains electricity supply. Keep the lid closed when pouring. Danger of
burning!
Cleaning
• Always pull out the plug from the socket before cleaning!
• The exterior of the machine should be cleaned, if necessary, with a slightly
damp cloth without additives.
• For cleaning purposes the lime filter can be removed by pulling upwards by the
tab. Remove the lime deposits by rinsing the filter under running water.
Decalcification
The frequency of the decalcifying operation depends on the hardness of the water
and on how often the appliance is used.
If the machine switches off before the water boils, it probably needs to be decalci-
fied.
Please do not use vinegar but a commercially available decalcification agent on the
basis of citric acid. Only use the quantities stated in the instructions.
This device has been tested according to all relevant current CE guidelines,
