7. Allow the device to cool down before turning the plates! Push the plates into the guide
mechanism only two at a time (2 x ne waves or 2 x smooth) as otherwise the hair may
be damaged!
8. Switching off
Switch the device off after use by pushing the on/off switch downwards and removing
the mains plug. The green control lamp goes off. Leave it cool for a few minutes before
putting it away.
Styling Tips
In order to obtain a strong „frizzle effect“ with the hair crimper you should apply gel or hair-
spray before use (it is possible that the hair will „steam“ somewhat, but this is normal). For
a loose „permanent wave look“ please use thick strands, crimp them with the device for one
second and then shake your hair over your head to the front and then to the back again. We
do not recommend using the device if your hair is damaged or bleached.
Cleaning and care
• Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the device.
• Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth without additives.
• The round brush can be cleaned with a suitable object (comb or brush).
If necessary you can use a commercial dish washing detergent.
• The curling tongs can be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth.
• Dry the attachments and the device thoroughly after you have cleaned them.
• The device must never be immersed in water!
