2. Before Using
Sufficiently charge the watch prior to use by exposing the dial to light. A
considerable amount of time is required to recharge the watch so that it is able
to run again once it has stopped. It is therefore recommended to prevent the
watch from becoming insufficiently charged by making an effort to recharge it
every day.
* Recharge the watch by exposing it to sunlight or other intense light if it has
stopped.
This watch uses a secondary battery to store electrical energy. This secondary
battery is a clean energy battery that does not contain mercury or other harmful
substances. Once fully charged, the watch will continue to run for about six months
without recharging.
<For Optimum Use of this Watch>
In order to use this watch comfortably, try to keep the watch charged at all times.
There is no risk of overcharging no matter how often the watch is charged.
3. Setting the Time
* If the crown is of the screw-lock type, operate after first loosening the screw by
turning the crown to the left, and after operation is completed, return the crown to
the normal position and then securely tightening the screw by pushing the crown
in while turning to the right.
(1) Pull the crown out to the
time correction position.
(2) Turn the crown to set the
time.
(3) The watch will start to run
when the crown is
securely pushed in to the
normal position.
