When duplex printing on non-recommended paper, the print quality may be poor. To improve the quality,
change this setting according to the type of media that is being used.
■ Plain Paper
■ Plain Paper BK (BackFace)
■ Plain Paper (HighGloss)
■ Plain Paper (HighGloss and BackFace)
■ Thick Paper 1
■ Thick Paper 1 (BackFace)
■ Thick Paper 2
■ Thick Paper 2 (BackFace)
■ Glossy Paper
■ Glossy Paper (BackFace)
Media Current Adj. default setting is 0.
Media Current Adj. setting may range from -20 to +30.
If white spots appear on the printout, adjust the Media Current Adj. in the direction of -20
If the print is bluish or has toner scatter, adjust the Media Current Adj. in the direction of +30
Auto PHD align
When you set up the printer or change the print head cartridge, the printer adjusts the Color Registration
automatically.
■ ON (default)
■ OFF
Deactivates the Auto PDF align function.
ColorRegiCorrect
Use ColorRegiCorrect to print the color registration adjustment chart. After setting up or moving the
printer, print the color registration adjustment chart and adjust the color registration to ensure that colors
are correctly aligned when printed.
■ Auto (default)
Adjust the Color Registration automatically.
■ Correction chart
Print the corrected Color Registration chart.
■ Enter number
Enter values to adjust the Color Registration.
The color registration chart is printed on A4 or Letter paper. (The requested paper size depends on
your country.) Put the A4 or Letter paper in lengthwise into the paper tray.
