The On Line P 1000 fi lter cartridge is the key to
cleaner, clearer great tasting BRITA fi ltered
water from the BRITA water dispenser!
The On Line P 1000 has a constant fi ltration performance for
limescale reduction thanks to its multilevel BRITA fi ltration
system.
The professional fi lter head allows two fi ltration settings for hard
and very hard water.
The On Line P 1000 fi lter cartridge
• reduces limescale and substances, e.g. chlorine, that affect
taste and odour.
• permanently absorbs metals such as lead and copper for your
well-being.
Lifetime of the On Line P 1000 fi lter cartridge
The lifetime of the On Line P1000 cartridge is dependant on
your individual volume usage and your water conditions. For
optimum BRITA fi ltration performance in the UK, we recommend
a minimum exchange of your cartridge every 3 months. Exchange
will be prompted by your BRITA electronic cartridge exchange
indicator, shown by the colour of the LED. For more information
regarding the BRITA electronic cartridge exchange indicator, see
chapter 3.2.

II. Quality from the very start
1 Terms of warranty
The On Line Active Plus fi lter system is subject to the statutory
guarantee of 2 years. A guarantee claim may be asserted only if all
instructions in this handbook are followed and observed.
2 Contents of the On Line Active Plus Kit
To ensure you get the best result from your BRITA On Line Active
Plus Water Filter Kit, please follow these instructions carefully.
Your On Line Active Plus Water Filter Kit includes the
following (see fi g. 1):
1. On Line P 1000 fi lter head with two settings including a
convenient locking handle
2. Flexible wall mount
3. On Line P 1000 water fi lter cartridge
4. BRITA water dispenser with volume and time LED indicator
5. Two BRITA electronic cartridge exchange indicators (for settings
"+" and "++"), one is already installed in the BRITA water dispenser
6. Hose (1), length = 800 mm and 3/8" nut on both sides
7. Hose (2), length = 800 mm, 3/8" nut on one side and 7/16" nut
on the other
8. Adapter (or reduction valve) 1/2" female thread to 3/8" male
thread

Recommended tools for installation: one Allen key (5 mm),
a wrench, a screwdriver and one 12 mm drill.
For wall mounting (optional), you need: two screws (e.g. 5 mm
thread diameter) and, if required, two wall plugs suitable for your
type of wall.

3 On Line Active Plus Kit – easy installation
Before starting, please check that you have all the components
listed above (see fi g. 1) as well as the recommended tools.
There are 7 steps to the installation.

Prior to installation, read the Technical Data (chapter 7) and
the Important Information (chapter 9). After storage and
transport below 0°C, the product must be stored in the open
original packaging for at least 24 hours at the stated ambient
temperatures (chapter 7) for operation.
3.1 Step 1: Selecting the carbonate hardness
setting (++/+) on the fi lter head
The fi lter head has been set to meet most UK water conditions.
In some soft water areas though, you may wish to adjust the fi lter
head to your local settings. To do so, fi rst carry out a carbonate test
using the supplied testing strip. The strip can be found in the outer
wrapping of these Usage Instructions.
Using the testing strip:
• Let the red response fi eld of the probe soak in a glass of your
tap water for 1 second.
• After 1 minute, compare the colour of the response fi eld with
the table and read the appropriate setting from the table.
Depending on the colour of the testing strip, we recommend
setting your fi lter head as follows:

The fi lter head is set to “++” by default. To change the setting,
use an Allen key (5 mm). Turn in the direction of the arrow until
the “+” appears in the window.
The fi lter head contains a fl ow regulator already installed which
guarantees smooth water fl ow from your dispenser even at higher
water pressures.
3.2 Step 2: Starting the BRITA electronic
cartridge exchange indicator
A Beginning:
The BRITA electronic cartridge exchange indicator comes with "++"
setting and is already installed in your BRITA water dispenser.
– To start, pull off the strip in the direction of the arrow.
– The BRITA electronic cartridge exchange indicator's LED will
blink once red and once blue. If the BRITA water dispenser's
lever is turned to the open position, the LED will start blinking
blue continuously.
B Inserting the BRITA electronic cartridge exchange
indicator for the “+” setting
If you have changed your fi lter head to the “+” setting, please
consider that the electronic cartridge exchange indicator also has to
be changed.
a Take out the BRITA electronic cartridge exchange indicator (seen
as black rubber piece) from the bottom of the lever of the BRITA
water dispenser.
b Take the battery out carefully from the "++" indicator and put it
into the other cartridge exchange indicator in the separate bag,
marked with a “+”.
c The “+”-side of the battery has to be on top. As soon as the
battery has full contact a red and a blue light, on the back of the
BRITA electronic cartridge exchange indicator will blink once.
This shows that the BRITA electronic cartridge exchange indica-
tor has been set.
d Put the “+” BRITA electronic cartridge exchange indicator into
the faucet. The side with the battery has to face the BRITA logo
on the lever. Now the LED will blink blue when you turn the
BRITA water dispenser's lever to the open position

C Distinction of the two BRITA electronic cartridge
exchange indicators
The “+” indicator is marked with one white dot and “6 months”
inside.
The “++” indicator is marked with two white dots and “3 months”
inside.
D Signals
Every time you turn the BRITA water dispenser’s lever, the BRITA
electronic cartridge exchange indicator’s LED will start blinking
blue. The BRITA electronic cartridge exchange indicator measures
time and volume (when the system is fully installed).
– The “++” setting indicator measures up to three months and
500 L of water.
– The “+”setting indicator measures up to six months and 1000 L
of water.
– If the maximum time or volume is reached, the LED of the
BRITA electronic cartridge exchange indicator will start blink-
ing red (while the BRITA water dispenser’s lever is opened)
( chapter 5).
– Then the fi lter cartridge should be changed (chapter 4).

3.3 Step 3: Installing the BRITA water dispenser
To install the BRITA water dispenser, fi rst make sure all the tools
you need are in front of you (see fi g. 5).

To start, fi nd a suitable place to set up your BRITA water dispenser
near your sink. We recommend installing it next to the sink on the
work surface (next to the main tap). Please make sure that there is
enough room for the On Line P 1000 fi lter cartridge, the two hoses
under the sink or the drill hole.

Please note that you will need the right drilling equipment
for your particular work surface or base. Make sure the
area under the dispenser is stable, especially if your work
surface is not made from wood. Please check the drilling
requirements for the material, use the appropriate drill and/
or consult a specialist.
Drill a hole (with a 12-mm bit) into the work surface where you
wish to set up the BRITA water dispenser.
Next, install the BRITA water dispenser (see fi g. 5).
Then put the base (2) over the hole and fi x the BRITA water
dispenser (1) in place using the supplied counter plate (4), the
gasket (3), the locking ring (5) and the hexagon nut (6).
3.4 Step 4: Attaching the hoses
!
We recommend that you fi rst arrange all parts you need
in front of you. Before installation, please ensure that you
have a 3/8" or 1/2" cold water supply so that you can connect
the On Line Active Plus Water Filter Kit in addition to your
existing kitchen tap. Recommended tools for installation: an
adjustable wrench and a screwdriver.
For wall mounting (optional), you need: two screws (e.g. 5 mm
thread diameter) and, if required, two wall plugs suitable for your
type of wall.
Please follow the diagram on the next page (see fi g. 6) and perform
the steps in the right order.
A a) Turn off the cold water supply
b) Please make sure your existing kitchen tap is pressureless by
opening the lever

No water should run through the existing kitchen tap!
c) Install supplied T-piece
NOTE
If you do have an additional free 3/8" cold water supply for
the BRITA On Line Active Plus kit in your kitchen, you do not
need to install the supplied t-piece!
d) Remove your existing 3/8" female kitchen tap hose from your
3/8" male cold water supply.
e) Connect t-piece with cold water supply.
a. Insert one 3/8“ gasket into the female nut of the supplied
t-piece.
b. Connect this end of the t-piece to your cold water supply.
f) Connect t-piece with kitchen tap
a. Only for kitchen tap with fl exible hoses:
Connect your kitchen tap hose to one of the two 3/8" male
t-piece connections. Please, ensure proper sealing with the
already existing gasket from your existing kitchen tap hose.
This gasket is already integrated in the hose or a separate
part depending on your kind of kitchen tap hose.
b. Only for kitchen tap with squeeze connections (for kitchen
taps with tubes)
Connect your kitchen tap tube to one of the two 3/8” male
t-piece connections. Please, use the existing squeeze con-
nection nut with sealing components (as used before) and
the tube for the connection of your 3/8” kitchen tap to the
3/8 male t-piece connection.
B a) Put the hose (1) in place
b) Insert the medium-sized (3/8") gaskets into the respective
female threads of the two hose ends.
c) Now connect one end of the hose (1) to the fi lter head inlet.
This is labelled “IN” (inlet) and marked with an arrow. Make
sure the gasket is seated correctly!
d) Now connect the other end of the hose (1) to your free cold
water supply/installed t-piece and ensure that the gasket is
correctly positioned!
NOTE
If your cold water supply does not fi t the 3/8" connector on
the hose (1), use the supplied adapter if required. Your On
Line Active Plus Kit comes with a 1/2" adapter. Please go to
your nearest supplier for adapters in other sizes.
C a) Put the hose (2) in place.
b) Connect the small end, with the gasket that has already been
inserted into the hose (2), to the BRITA water dispenser
already installed (see Step 3.3).

D a) Insert the appropriate gasket (3/8”) into the 3/8” end of the
hose (2) and connect the 3/8” end of the hose (2) to the outlet
of the fi lter head, labelled with an “OUT” arrow.
b) Make sure all connections are tightened properly. Avoid over
tightening.
c) Turn on the cold water supply.

The max. tightening torque for the G3/8" connections
may not exceed 14 Nm! Only hose connections with
gaskets (5) may be used, because hoses with conical screw
connections damage the connections of the fi lter head and
invalidate any warranty claims!

3.5 Step 5: Inserting the fi lter cartridge (see fi g. 7)
A Remove the protective cap (1) (see fi g. 7).
B Insert the fi lter cartridge (4) vertically into the fi lter head (2).

The fi lter cartridge can only be inserted when the locking
handle is open.
Make sure that the fi lter cartridge is positioned correctly.
C Turn the locking handle (3) until you feel it engages.
3.6 Step 6 (optional): Space-saving wall mount
to install the cartridge under the sink
(see fi g. 8)

During assembly, note the installation dimensions, bending
radii of the hoses and dimensions of the accessories. The
system can be operated vertically and horizontally. When
using the wall mount, install vertically only!

A Attach the wall mount in place using the two matching screws
and use two wall plugs, if necessary, depending on the type of
wall.
B Engage the fi lter head (2) in the wall mount (1). Please use the
fi xation holes (4).

3.7 Step 7: Commissioning
Before use, make sure that you have followed all the steps
correctly and all the parts are fi tted. Place a suitable container
under the cartridge to catch any leakages.
A Turn on the cold water supply and check the system carefully for
any leaks.
B Open the valve on your BRITA water dispenser and rinse through
until the fi ltered water runs clear and without any bubbles
(at least 2 litres).
4 Replacing the fi lter cartridge
The fi lter cartridge must be replaced when it runs out or at
latest 6 months after commissioning, irrespective of the level of
exhaustion of the fi lter system.

Read the Operating and Safety Information (chapter 9)
prior to exchange. After storage and transport below 0°C,
the product must be stored in the open original packaging
for at least 24 hours at the stated ambient temperatures
( chapter 7) for operation.
NOTE
The fi lter cartridge can be pivoted by 90° in the wall mount
for easy removal. When the locking handle is open, the
water supply to the cartridge is interrupted and by-passing
with direct water fl ow from the water inlet to the outlet is
possible.
Replacing the On Line P 1000 (see fi g. 7):
A Open the locking handle (3).
B Place a suitable container under the fl ush hose to catch the rinse
water. Activate the fl ush valve (5) and release pressure from the
system.
C Remove the exhausted fi lter cartridge (4) from the fi lter head (2) –
please be aware, the cartridge is fi rmly embedded so you can
give it a fi rm pull without worrying about breaking it.
D Insert the new fi lter cartridge (see chapter 3.5).
E Close the locking handle (3).
F Reset the BRITA cartridge exchange indicator (chapter 5).
5 Resetting the BRITA electronic cartridge
exchange indicator
If the maximum time or volume is reached, the BRITA electronic
cartridge exchange indicator’s LED will start blinking red (while the
BRITA water dispenser’s lever is turned to the open position).
– then the fi lter cartridge should be changed (chapter 4).
– the BRITA electronic cartridge exchange indicator has to be
reset.
a) Take the BRITA electronic cartridge exchange indicator out of
the BRITA water dispenser’s lever.
b) Take the battery out carefully.
c) Put it back into the cartridge exchange indicator (the battery
side marked with the + has to be on top) and press it fi rmly
until you see the red and blue light blink once on the other
side of the BRITA electronic cartridge exchange indicator.
This shows that the indicator has successfully been reset.
d) Afterwards, put the BRITA electronic cartridge exchange indi-
cator back into the BRITA water dispenser’s lever. The side
with the battery has to face the BRITA logo on the lever.
6 Maintenance
Regularly check the fi lter system for leaks. Regularly check the
hoses for kinks. Bent hoses must be replaced.
Even though the product life time is 10 years, we recommend to
check it after 5 years after extraordinary wear and tear.

Prior to exchanging the fi lter system, read the Technical
Data (chapter 7) and the Operating and Safety Information
(chapter 9).
Regularly clean the outside of the fi lter system with a soft, damp
cloth.
!
Do not use any abrasive chemicals, cleaning solutions or
astringent cleaning agents.

8 Troubleshooting
A No water fl ow
Cause: Water intake closed.
Troubleshooting: Open the water intake at the upstream shut-off
valve or by closing the locking handle (3) on the
fi lter head. Check hoses for kinks.
B No or low water fl ow in spite of open water intake
Cause: Mains pressure too low.
Troubleshooting: Check mains pressure. If the fault continues,
check the fi lter system and fi lter cartridge and
replace if necessary. Check hoses for kinks.
Cause: Filter head not mounted in direction of water
fl ow / hoses wrongly connected.
Troubleshooting: Dismantle fi lter head and hoses and install in
direction of water fl ow (chapter 3.4).
C Leak
Cause: Screwed connections not fi tted correctly.
Troubleshooting: Check mains pressure. Check all screwed
connections and mount as described in
chapter 3.4.
D LED not blinking
Cause: Battery empty
Troubleshooting: Change the battery (usually after 3 years)

9 Important notes
Protect the On Line P 1000 water fi lter cartridge from direct
sunlight and mechanical damage. Do not assemble near sources
of heat and open fl ames. A stop valve must be installed before
the fi lter system intake hose. If the water pressure is greater than
8.6 bar, a pressure reducer must be installed in front of the fi lter
system. The On Line Active Plus Water Filter Kit is only suitable for
domestic use.
Only water of drinking water quality may be used as intake water
for the BRITA water fi lter system. The BRITA water fi lter system is
only suitable for cold water use within the supply water tem-
perature stated in chapter 7. No microbiologically impaired water
or water of unknown quality may be used without appropriate
disinfection.
If you have a low pressure boiler, make sure you only connect the
On Line P 1000 to the cold water supply with the angle valve, and
not to the low pressure boiler.
Irrespective of the water used, you should use stainless steel
utensils or kettles with stainless steel heating elements. This is of
particular importance to people who are sensitive to nickel.
In the event: fi lter fi rst, and then boil
If there are offi cial instructions to boil tap water, the fi lter system
must be decommissioned. When the requirement to boil water
comes to an end, the fi lter cartridge must be replaced and the con-
nections cleaned.
Ultimate hygiene
• For hygiene reasons, the fi lter material of the cartridge is
subjected to a special treatment with silver. A small quantity
of silver, which is harmless to health, may be released into the
water. This is in compliance with the World Health Organisation
(WHO) recommendations for drinking water.
• It is generally recommended to boil tap water for certain groups
of people (e.g. people with weak immune systems, babies). This
also applies to fi ltered water.
• Note for people with kidney disease or dialysis patients: The fi l-
tering process can cause a small rise in the levels of potassium.
• The water fi ltrate is classifi ed in Category 2 according to
EN 1717.
Optimum use
• BRITA recommends that the fi lter system is not left unused for
a long period. If the BRITA On Line Active Plus fi lter system is
not used for several days (2–3 days), we recommend that the
fi lter system be fl ushed with the fl ushing volume X indicated in
the table below. After stagnation periods of over 4 weeks, the
fi lter should be fl ushed with fl ushing volume Y or else replaced.
Please also note the maximum usage period of the fi lter car-
tridge is 6 months.

• The fi lter kit must not be opened or dismantled during operation.
The fi lter cartridge must not be opened. The fi lter kit is designed
for a service life of 5 years counted from the date of installation.
BRITA fi ltered water is designed for human consumption. Use it
within 1–2 days.
Sensitive to potassium?
The fi ltering process can cause a small rise in the levels of potas-
sium. However, one litre of BRITA fi ltered water contains less
potassium than an apple, for example. If you have kidney disease
and/or have to observe a special potassium diet, we recommend
that you consult your doctor before using the water fi lter.
Natural traces
As with every natural product, the On Line P 1000 parts can be
subject to natural fl uctuations. This can lead to a slight abrasion of
small carbon particles into your fi ltered water, noticeable as black
bits. These particles have no negative health effects. If ingested,
they will not harm the human body. In case you observe carbon
particles, BRITA recommends fl ushing out the On Line P 1000 fi lter
cartridge until the black bits disappear.

Correct disposal of the BRITA cartridge
exchange indicator
Every BRITA cartridge exchange indicator has a
useful life of approx. 5 years. At the end of the
useful life of the cartridge exchange indicator,
remember that it must be disposed of according
to the applicable regulations and statutory require-
ments.
Exclusion of liability
BRITA shall not be held liable for any damage, including subsequent
damage, arising from the incorrect use of the product.
100% satisfaction: the BRITA guarantee
We are confi dent that this BRITA product will
meet your demands in terms of quality and
performance. If this product does not meet your
expectations, we will accept its return within
30 days of the date of purchase and reimburse
the purchase price. Just send the product with
your proof of purchase (receipt) and the grounds
for your dissatisfaction, your phone number and
bank details to the customer service address for
your country (on the back of this booklet).

1 Dispositions relatives à la garantie
Le système de fi ltration On Line Active Plus est assorti d'une
garantie légale de 2 ans. Un recours en garantie ne pourra être
invoqué que si toutes les instructions du présent manuel ont été
lues et respectées.
2 Contenu du kit On Line Active Plus
Pour obtenir les meilleurs résultats avec le kit de fi ltration BRITA
On Line Active Plus, veuillez lire attentivement les présentes
instructions.
Le kit de fi ltration On Line Active Plus comprend les
éléments suivants (voir fi g. 1):
1. Tête fi ltrante On Line P 1000 à 2 réglages, avec poignée de
verrouillage
2. Fixation murale pratique
3. Cartouche fi ltrante On Line P 1000
4. Distributeur d'eau BRITA avec indicateur à LED de volume
d’eau consommée et de temps écoulé
5. Deux indicateurs électroniques de changement de cartouche

Avant l'installation, vérifi ez que vous disposez d'un raccord d'ali-
mentation en eau froide 3/8" ou 1/2" de manière à pouvoir raccorder
le kit de fi ltration On Line Active Plus. Si vous ne disposez pas d'un
raccord d'alimentation en eau froide 3/8" supplémentaire, veuillez
contacter un professionnel. Outillage recommandé pour l'installa-
tion : une clé Allen (5 mm) et une perceuse 12 mm.
Pour le montage mural (facultatif), vous avez besoin de : deux vis
(par ex. 5 mm) et, le cas échéant, deux chevilles adaptées à votre
type de mur.

3 Kit On Line Active Plus – installation facile
Veuillez vérifi er la présence de tous les elements énumérés (en
page 15 fi g.1) et des outils recommandés avant de commencer à
installer le système.
L'installation comporte 7 étapes.

Lisez attentivement les caractéristiques techniques (chapitre
7) ainsi que les consignes d'utilisation et de sécurité (chapitre
9) avant l'installation. Après un stockage et un transport en
dessous de 0 °C, stockez le produit avec l'emballage d'ori-
gine ouvert au moins 24 heures avant sa mise en service à la
température ambiante du lieu d'installation (chapitre 7).
3.1 Etape 1 : sélection de la dureté carbonate
(++ / +) sur la tête fi ltrante
Pour régler la tête fi ltrante pendant l’utilisation de la cartouche fi l-
trante On Line Active P 1000 sur la dureté de l'eau locale, effectuez
d'abord un test en utilisant la bandelette fournie.
La bandelette se trouve dans l'emballage.
Utilisation de la bandelette :
• Trempez la zone réactive de la bandelette dans un verre d'eau du
robinet pendant 1 seconde.
• Au bout d’1 minute, comparez la couleur de la zone réactive avec
les valeurs du tableau.
Suivant la couleur de la bandelette, nous vous recommandons de
régler la tête fi ltrante comme suit :

Le réglage par défaut de la tête fi ltrante est « ++ ». Pour changer le
réglage, utilisez une clé Allen (5 mm). Tournez-la dans le sens de
la fl èche jusqu'à ce que « + » s'affi che. Pour régler la tête fi ltrante
pendant l'utilisation de la cartouche fi ltrante On Line Active A 1000,
voir le chapitre 4.
La tête fi ltrante est équipée d'un régulateur de débit qui assure à
votre distributeur d'eau un débit optimal, même lorsque la pression
de l'eau est élevée.
Le fournisseur local d’eau potable peut aussi vous donner des infor-
mations sur la dureté carbonate de votre eau du robinet.
3.2 Etape 2 : Lancer l'indicateur électronique de
changement de cartouche BRITA
A Mise en service :
L'indicateur électronique de changement de cartouche BRITA avec
réglage « ++ »est déjà installé sur votre distributeur d'eau BRITA.
– Tirez tout d'abord la bandelette dans le sens de la fl èche.
– La LED de l'indicateur électronique de changement de cartouche
BRITA clignote une fois en rouge, puis une fois en bleu. Si
le levier du distributeur d'eau BRITA est réglé sur la position
ouverte, la LED se met à clignoter de manière continue en bleu.
B Insertion de l'indicateur électronique de changement
de cartouche BRITA avec réglage « + »
Si vous avez réglé la tête fi ltrante sur « + », vous devez également
changer l'indicateur électronique de changement de cartouche.
a Sur la partie inférieure du levier du distributeur d'eau BRITA, reti-
rez l'indicateur électronique de changement de cartouche BRITA
(repéré par une pièce noire en caoutchouc).
b Retirez la pile avec précaution et placez-la dans l'autre indicateur
de changement de cartouche, situé dans le deuxième sac repéré
par le signe « + ».
c Le côté « + » de la pile doit être sur le dessus. Lorsque la pile est
correctement installée, le voyant situé à l'arrière de l'indicateur
électronique de changement de cartouche BRITA clignote une
fois en rouge et une fois en bleu. Ceci vous indique que l'indica-
teur électronique de changement de cartouche BRITA est actif.
d Installez l'indicateur électronique de changement de cartouche
BRITA avec réglage « + » sur le distributeur d'eau BRITA. Le
côté contenant la pile doit se trouver face au logo BRITA sur le
levier. La LED se met à clignoter en bleu lorsque vous tournez le
levier du distributeur d'eau BRITA pour le mettre sur la position
ouverte.

C Différences entre les deux indicateurs électroniques
de changement de cartouche BRITA
L'indicateur « + » est marqué d'un point blanc à l'intérieur et com-
porte l'indication « 6 mois ».
L'indicateur « ++ » est marqué de deux points blancs à l'intérieur et
comporte l'indication « 3 mois ».
D Signaux
A chaque fois que vous ouvrez le levier du distributeur d'eau
BRITA, la LED de l'indicateur électronique de changement de car-
touche BRITA se met à clignoter en bleu. L'indicateur électronique
de changement de cartouche BRITA mesure le temps écoulé et le
volume d’eau consommé (lorsque le système est complètement
installé).
– L'indicateur avec réglage « ++ » peut effectuer des mesures
pendant trois mois maximum, et jusqu'à 500 l d'eau.
– L'indicateur avec réglage « + » peut effectuer des mesures
pendant six mois maximum, et jusqu'à 1 000 l d'eau.
– Une fois le temps ou le volume maximum atteint, la LED de
l'indicateur électronique de changement de cartouche BRITA se
met à clignoter en rouge (lorsque le levier du distributeur d'eau
BRITA est ouvert) (chapitre 5).
– La cartouche fi ltrante doit alors être changée (chapitre 3.5).
Caractéristiques techniques :
• Pile : 1 pile bouton lithium –A (3 V) CR2032 (amovible)
• Changez la pile tous les 3 ans.

3.3 Etape 3 : installation du distributeur
d'eau BRITA
Pour installer le distributeur d'eau BRITA, assurez-vous d'abord de
disposer de tous les outils nécessaries (voir fi g. 5).

Cherchez un endroit adéquat pour le distributeur d'eau BRITA à
côté du l'évier. Nous vous recommandons de l'installer près de
l'évier sur le plan de travail (à côté du robinet principal). Avant de
percer, assurez vous qu’il y a suffi samment de place sous l’évier
pour l’installation de la tête fi ltrante, de la cartouche fi ltrante On
Line P 1000 ainsi que pour les deux tuyaux.

Utilisez le bon outil de perçage pour le plan de travail ou la
base. La surface située sous le distributeur doit être stable,
en particulier si le plan de travail n'est pas en bois. Vérifi ez
les conditions de perçage du matériau, utilisez l'équipement
de perçage approprié ou consultez un spécialiste.
Percez un orifi ce (avec un foret de 12 mm) dans le plan de travail
où vous souhaitez installer le distributeur d'eau BRITA.
Installez ensuite le distributeur BRITA (voir fi g. 5).
Placez la base (2) sur l'orifi ce et fi xez le distributeur d'eau BRITA (1)
à l'aide de la contre-plaque (4), du joint (3), de la bague de blocage
(5) et de l'écrou hexagonal (6) fournis.
3.4 Etape 4 : fi xation des tuyaux
!
Nous vous recommandons de disposer toutes les pièces
nécessaires devant vous. Avant l'installation, vérifi ez que
vous disposez d'un raccord d'alimentation en eau froide 3/8"
ou 1/2" de manière à pouvoir raccorder le kit de fi ltration On
Line Active Plus. Outillage recommandé pour l'installation :
une clé Allen (5 mm) et une perceuse 12 mm.
Pour le montage mural (facultatif), vous avez besoin de : deux vis
(par ex. 5 mm) et, le cas échéant, deux chevilles adaptées à votre
type de mur.

L’installation doit être effectuée par une entreprise d’instal-
lation répertoriée dans le registre d’installation d’une société
de distribution d’eau, comme le demande le décret allemand
sur les conditions générales de l´approvisionnement en eau
(AVBWasserV) et comme le conseille la SSIGE (Société
Suisse de l’industrie du Gaz et des Eaux).
Veuillez vous référer à l'illustration suivante (voir fi g. 6) et effectuer
les étapes dans l'ordre indiqué.
Veuillez lire attentivement toutes les instructions avant de com-
mencer l'installation.
A a) Coupez l'arrivée d'eau froide.
b) Assurez-vous que votre robinet de cuisine est fermé lorsque
vous ouvrez le levier.

c) Installez la pièce de raccord en T fourni
REMARQUE
Si vous avez déjà une arrivée d‘eau froide 3/8"
supplémentaire disponible pour le kit BRITA On Line
Active Plus, vous n'avez pas besoin d'installer la
pièce de raccord en T fourni.
d) Dévissez le tuyau femelle 3/8" de votre robinet de cuisine
pour le retirer de votre arrivée d'eau mâle 3/8".
e) Reliez la pièce de raccord en T à l'arrivée d'eau froide.
a. Montez le joint 3/8" sur l'écrou femelle de la pièce de
raccord en T fournie.
b. Reliez cette extrémité de la pièce de raccord en T à votre
arrivée d'eau froide.
f) Reliez la pièce de raccord en T au robinet de cuisine
a. Uniquement pour les robinets de cuisine à tuyaux fl exibles :
Reliez le tuyau de votre robinet de cuisine à l'un des deux
raccords 3/8" mâles de la pièce de raccord en T. Veillez à
obtenir une liaison étanche correcte avec le joint déjà ins-
tallé sur le tuyau de votre robinet de cuisine. En fonction du
type de tuyau de votre robinet de cuisine, ce joint est déjà
intégré soit dans le tuyau soit dans une pièce séparée.
b. Uniquement pour les robinets de cuisine à raccord par
serrage (pour robinets de cuisine à tuyaux rigides)
Reliez le tuyau rigide de votre robinet de cuisine à l'un des
deux raccords 3/8" mâles de la pièce de raccord en T. utili-
sez l'écrou de serrage avec les composants d'étanchement
(comme ils étaient installés avant) et le tuyau rigide pour
relier votre robinet de cuisine 3/8" au raccord 3/8" mâle de la
pièce de raccord en T.

B a) Raccordez le tuyau (1).
b) Montez les joints de taille moyenne (3/8") sur le fi letage inté-
rieur correspondant aux deux extrémités du tuyau.
c) Connectez maintenant une extrémité du tuyau (1) à l'entrée
de la tête fi ltrante. Elle est repérée par l'indication « IN »
(entrée) et une fl èche. Assurez-vous que le joint est bien
positionné.
d) Connectez maintenant l'autre extrémité du tuyau (1) à l'ali-
mentation en eau froide libre/ raccord en T installé et assurez-
vous que le joint est correctement positionné.
REMARQUE
Si votre alimentation en eau froide ne convient pas au rac-
cord 3/8" du tuyau (1), utilisez l'adaptateur fourni. Le kit de
fi ltration On Line Active Plus comprend un adaptateur 1/2".
Si vous avez besoin d'autres adaptateurs, adressez vous au
professionnel le plus proche.
C a) Raccordez le tuyau (2).
b) Raccordez la petite extrémité avec le joint déjà inséré sur
le tuyau (2) au distributeur d'eau BRITA déjà installé (voir
l'étape 3.3).
D a) Montez le joint approprié (3/8") sur l'extrémité du tuyau 3/8"
(2), puis raccordez l'extrémité du tuyau 3/8" (2) à la sortie de la
tête fi ltrante repérée par la fl èche « OUT ».
b) Assurez-vous d'avoir bien serré tous les raccords. Ne serrez
pas excessivement.
c) Ouvrez l'arrivée d'eau froide.
!
Le couple de serrage pour les raccords G3/8" ne doit pas
dépasser 14 Nm ! Utilisez seulement des raccords à joints
plats (5), car les géométries de joints coniques endomma-
gent les raccords de la tête fi ltrante et entraînent l'annulation
de la garantie !

Assurez-vous du positionnement correct de la cartouche

3.6 Etape 6 (facultative) : fi xation murale pour
un montage peu encombrant de la cartouche

Tenez compte des dimensions du système, des accessoires
et des rayons de courbure des tuyaux. La mise en service
est possible en position verticale ou horizontale. En cas d'uti-
lisation de la fi xation murale, installez le fi ltre à la verticale !

    • Heb m net verwijderd. Het is wat geprute maar ik kon het zonder breken. Je neemt een kleine platte schroevendraaier en opent de zijkantjes één voor één terwijl je aan het lipje vooraan trekt. Dan komt de batterij vrij waar drie met elkaar verbonden lipsjes zijn. Die ene die wat apart lijkt te zitten duw je indvidueel samen.
