3.3. DEVICE USE
BCHO-17L
1. Place the selected grate at the bottom of the bowl.
Next, place the selected products on the grate.
Remember to leave some space between the
products to be heated, the walls of the bowl and the
heating element to ensure enough air circulation
inside the bowl. If necessary, place the supplied
metal ring between the bowl and the cover.
2. Put the cover on the bowl.
3. Connect the power cable to the appliance.
4. Set the time using the timer knob (2)- LED (4) lights
up.
5. Set the desired temperature using the control knob
(3)- LED (5) lights up.
6. The appliance is equipped with a safety switch.
Setting the handle cover in a vertical position will
stop heating. The handle must be set in a horizontal
position.

If during heating the user lifts the handle, the
appliance interrupts heating.
7. When the pre-set time elapses, the appliance
switches o. To continue preheating repeat the
operations from point 4.
8. If you want to nish cooking before the set time, turn
the temperature control knob to „OFF“.
9. After you nish using the appliance, set the
temperature control knob to „OFF“ and unplug the
appliance from the power supply.

The display (D) will show the factory time and
temperature settings.
4. Set the appliance operation
a) Heating temperature
Press the (G) button, LED (A) starts blinking.
Next, using (F) and (J) buttons, set the preferred
temperature. The temperature will conrm
automatically after 5s, LED (A) stops blinking.
When the appliance is in operation, pressing the (G)
button allows you to check the set temperature and
to change the unit between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
b) Operation time
Press the (E) button, LED (B) starts blinking. Next,
using (F) and (J) buttons, set the preferred time. It will
conrm automatically after 5s, LED (B) stops blinking.
When the appliance is in operation, pressing the (E)
button will display the remaining operation time.

3.2. PREPARING FOR USE
APPLIANCE LOCATION
The temperature of environment must not be higher than
40°C and the relative humidity should be less than 85%.
Ensure good ventilation in the room in which the device
is used. The distance between each side of the device and
the wall or other objects should be at least 10 cm. Keep the
device away from hot surfaces. Operate the device on at,
stable, clean, refractory and dry surfaces out of the reach
of children and people with mental disabilities. Install the
device making sure that constant access to the main plug is
ensured. The power cord connected to the appliance must
be properly grounded and correspond to the technical
details.
Before rst use, remove all elements and clean them along
with the entire device.
After cleaning and drying the appliance, put the grates in
the bowl, place the cover and connect the appliance to the
power supply, lower the handle to a horizontal position.
Next, follow the instructions below to set the temperature
to 250°C and the timer to 10 minutes.
After you switch the appliance o, wait for it to cool down
before next use.
NOTE: It may happen that by rst use, the heating element
produces a light smoke. This is absolutely normal. Simply
check that the smoke can evaporate and that a good
aeration is provided.

o) NOTE: Before you switch on the appliance, always
turn the temperature control to „OFF“.
p) NOTE: Use extreme caution when lifting the cover!
Hot steam may escape from the bowl! Put the cover
in a safe place which is resistant to heat to prevent
accidental burns or surface damage.
q) Do not place the appliance near or on the sources of
heat or ame.
2.3. PERSONAL SAFETY
a) Do not use the device when tired, ill or under the
inuence of alcohol, narcotics or medication which
can signicantly impair the ability to operate the
device.
b) The device is not designed to be handled by persons
(including children) with limited mental and sensory
functions or persons lacking relevant experience
and/ or knowledge unless they are supervised by
a person responsible for their safety or they have
received instructions on how to operate the device.
c) When working with the device, use common sense
and stay alert. Temporary loss of concentration whilst
using the device may lead to serious injuries.
d) To prevent the device from accidentally switching on,
make sure the switch is on the OFF position before
connecting to a power source.
e) The device is not a toy. Children should be supervised
so that they will not play with the device.
2.4. SAFE DEVICE USE
a) Do not use the device if the ON/OFF switch does not
function properly (does not switch the device on and
o). Devices which cannot be switched on and o
using the ON/OFF switch are hazardous, should not
be operated and have to be repaired.
b) Make sure the plug is disconnected from the
socket before attempting any adjustments, tool
replacements or before putting the device aside.
Such precautions will reduce the risk of accidentally
activating the device.
c) When not in use, store in a safe place, away from
children and people not familiar with the device, who
have not read the user manual. The device may pose
a hazard in the hands of inexperienced users.
d) Maintain the device in a good technical state. Before
each use check for general damage and especially
check for cracked parts or elements and for any other
conditions which may impact the safe operation of
the device. If damage is discovered, hand over the
device for repair before use.
e) Keep the device out of the reach of children.
f) Device repair or maintenance should be carried out
by qualied persons, only using original spare parts.
This will ensure safe use.
g) To ensure the operational integrity of the device, do
not remove factory tted guards and do not loosen
any screws.
h) It is forbidden to move, adjusting and rotating the
device in the course of work.
i) Take special care when moving the appliance if it is
switched on and hot content is still in the bowl.
j) Do not leave this appliance unattended while it is in
use.
k) Clean the device regularly to avoid a durable
encrustation of dirt.
l) The device is not a toy. Cleaning and maintenance
may not be carried out by children without
supervision by an adult person.
m) NOTE: Some parts of the appliance will become hot.
Touching them may result in burns!
n) NOTE: If the appliance is suddenly cooled down, the
glass surface may crack.
3. USE GUIDELINES
The appliance is intended for heat treatment of food
products.
The appliance must not be used to:
heat liquids containing sugar, sweeteners, acids,
alkalis or alcohol;
heating and preheating of ammable, hazardous,
easily-oxidizing or similar liquids and/or materials.
This appliance is intended to be used in household and
similar applications such as:
sta kitchen areas in shops, oces and other
working environments;
farm houses;
by clients in hotels, motels, etc.;
bed and breakfasts or boarding houses.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from
nonintended use of the device.
REMEMBER! When using the device, protect children
and other bystanders.
ATTENTION! Despite the safe design of the device
and its protection facilities and despite the use of
additional elements protecting the operator, there is
still a slight risk of an accident or injury when using
the device. When using the device stay alert and use
common sense.
