IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read the following instructions carefully before using the appliance.
1. Before plugging into the mains socket, check that the mains voltage
corresponds to the rating label of the appliance.
2. Always disconnect the blender from the power supply when it is left
unattended and before assembling, disassembling and cleaning.
3. Do not plug the appliance into the power supply until it is fully assembled
and always unplug before disassembling the appliance or handling the
blade.
4. Never allow children to play with this appliance.
5. Never allow the motor unit, cord or plug to get wet.
6. Never use a damaged appliance. If it has been damaged, take the appliance
to an authorised service centre for checking, repair or maintenance.
7. Never allow excess cord to hang over the edge of the table or worktop or to
touch hot surfaces.
8. The blades are very sharp! Be very careful when handling!
9. Do not use the appliance with hot ingredients.
10. This appliance is intended to process normal household quantities only.

12. Follow all instructions carefully. Do not misuse the stick blender.
13. The measuring beaker and the chopping bowl are not microwave proof.
14. WARNING: Only use the appliance for less than 1 minute at a time (max 3
times) and never process hard food for longer than 15 seconds.
15. Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the power supply before
changing accessories or approaching parts which move in use.
16. Clean the stick blender with a dry cloth.
17. Follow all instructions when cleaning surfaces that come into contact with
food.
18. It is essential that instructions in regard to operating times and speeds for
accessories are strictly adhered to, as there is the potential of injury due to
misuse.
19. Care must be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the
bowl and during cleaning.
20. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory, or mental capacities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
