■ E flashes: The childproof lock is
active and the programme selector
has been adjusted. To prevent the
programme from stopping, turn the
programme selector back to the
original programme. The symbol
lights up again.
Note: The childproof lock can remain
activated until you wish to start the next
programme, even after switching off the
machine.
You must then deactivate the childproof
lock before starting the programme and
activate it again as necessary once the
programme has started.
Adding laundry
After starting the programme, you can
add or remove laundry as required.
To do this, press the Start/Reload
button.
The "Start/Reload" indicator lamp
flashes and the machine checks
whether it is possible to add laundry.
Note: Do not leave the washing
machine door open for too long when
adding laundry as water from the
laundry may leak out.
If, on the display panel:
■ YES lights up, it is possible to add
laundry.
■ NO flashes, wait until YES lights up.
■ A flashing NO symbol, it is not
possible to add laundry.
For safety reasons, the washing
machine door remains locked when
the water level or temperature is
high, or while the drum is rotating,
and it is not possible to add laundry.
To continue the programme, press
the Start/Reload button. The
programme continues automatically.
Changing the programme
If you have started the wrong
programme by mistake, you can
change the programme as follows:
1. Select the other programme.
2. Press the Start/Reload button. The
new programme starts from the
beginning.
Cancel the programme
For programmes at high temperatures:
1. To cool the laundry, select Rinse/
Spin.
2. Press the Start/Reload button.
For programmes at low temperatures:
1. Press Start/Reload.
2. Select Rinse/Spin (deactivate the
Rinse plus/Water plus button) or
select Empty.
3. Press the Start/Reload button.

status display lights up and the "Start/
Reload" button indicator lamp flashes.
To end the programme, set the
programme selector to "Empty" or
select a spin speed. Then press the
Start/Reload button.

-0- appears on the display panel and
the "Start/Reload" button indicator lamp
flashes.
If the N symbol also appears on the
display panel, the washing machine has
detected too much foam during the
wash programme and automatically
switched on a rinse cycle to remove the
foam.
Note: Add less detergent for the next
washing cycle with the same load.
