Operating Mode Switch (f)
automatically switches between “Normal”
and “Reduced” operation at the times set
on the switching timer.
continuously regulates the room tempera-
ture to the value set on the knob (g),
(e. g., for a party)

(e. g., during a winter holiday).
Knob “Normal Operation” (g)
The desired room temperature for “Normal Op-
eration” can be set between 6 and 30 °C.
Knob “Reduced Operation” (h)
The desired room temperature for “Reduced
Operation” can be set between 6 and 30 °C.
5.2 Setting the Time
– Remove cover (a) (Fig. ).
– Turn the minute hand in the clockwise direc-
tion.
Note: Turn the hand only in the clockwise di-
rection. Do not turn the time ring
(m)!
– Read the actual time at the time markings (o)
on the time ring (m).
Example:
• Fig. indicates 2:50 AM (not 2:50 PM).
• Fig. indicates Friday (V), 2:50 PM (not
2:50 AM).
5.3 Setting the Switching Time
Note: Red switching riders switch on “Normal
operation”. Blue switching riders switch
on “Reduced operation”.
– For correct operation of the switching timer,
the switching riders must be inserted alter-
nately in red and blue.
– Insert the switching riders (n) at the desired
positions on the time ring (m).
– Unused switching riders can be kept at the
storage location.
Daily Program TRZ 12 T (Fig. )
• The switching interval between two switch-
ing riders next to each other (i. e., the short-
est possible interval between “Normal” and
“Reduced” operation) is approx. 20 minutes.
• The insertion accuracy (interval between to
insertion location next to each other) of the
individual switching points is approx. 5 min-
utes.
Weekly Program TRZ 12 W (Fig. )
• The switching interval between two switch-
ing riders next to each other (i. e., the short-
est possible interval between “Normal” and
“Reduced” operation) is approx. 2 hours.
• The insertion accuracy (interval between to
insertion location next to each other) of the
individual switching points is approx.
30 minutes.
