First Use of the Machine
Please read these operating instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place.
Before using the device for the first time, please rinse out the teapot once and boil
the kettle twice using fresh water. Use only water without any additives or ingre-
dients.
Electrical Connection
• Check whether the mains voltage supply that you intend to use is the same as
that of the kettle. For information on the voltage supply of the kettle, please see
the identification plate on the base.
• Only connect the machine to a properly installed 230 V, 50 Hz safety socket.
Using the Kettle
1. Place the tea station on a flat base.
2. Open the kettle by pressing the button on the lid (9). Then fill in some water. The
water level can be read off using the water level indicator (11) on both sides of
the kettle. Please do not overfill the kettle.
3. Close the lid (9).
4. Place the kettle flush on the base (4).
