Screw the magnet apart with the magnet holder
F and attach it as shown to a spoke of the fr ont
wheel at the height of the sensor D . Make sure
that the distance between the sensor D and the
magnet holder F is not more than 2 mm. F or this,
turn the sensor D acc ordingly on the fork tube
(see Fig . h-1).
Make sur e that the magnet F passes the sensor
D at the arr ow mark on the sensor (see Fig . h-2).
NOTE !

Make sur e that the bicycle computer A and the
sensor D are at a 90° angle to one another . T he
distance between the bicycle computer A and
the sensor D should be a maximum of 60 cm.
Prior to assembling the sensor , mark the
maximum distance on the fork tube!
Make sur e that the comput er is installed in the
marked transmission r ange of the sensor , Fig. ( j)
9. Star t-up
Prior to starting up the bicycle computer and the
sensor for the first time, the button c ells must be
inser t ed.
Insertion of the button cell into the sensor
(Fig. k)
and bicycle computer / Fig. (l)
Open the cover of the butt on cell compartment on
the sensor D with a c oin by turning it clockwise.
The co ver must be pr essed lightly downw ards
with the coin.
A void dir ect skin contact with the sur faces of the
button cells . This can cause them to dischar ge.
Inser t the butt on cell G surfaces so that the +
polarity is visible. Close the cov er using the coin,
after you hav e inserted the button cells.
The same pr ocedur e is used for the bicycle com-
puter A . Y ou may need to remov e the bicycle
computer off of the brack et for this, Fig. (e) .
Please do not insert the button cells loosely , as
other wise the functions cannot be display ed.
9.1 Menu languages
Before setting the comput er , remove the pr otec-
tive film fr om the display .
After inserting the button cells , the
setting will light up for selecting the
menu languages. German, English
and Fr ench are a vailable to choose
from. P ress the MODE k ey to switch
between the languages. C onfirm your selection
with the SET key .
9.2 km/h or mp/h setting
Y ou can select here between km/h
(kilometres) and mp/h (miles). “SET
KM” flashes in the display . Use the
MODE key to swit ch between the
units of measuremen t. C onfirm your
selection with the SET key .
9.3 T yre siz e setting
Y ou can determine y our tyre size as
follows:
1. Make sur e that the t yr es are infla ted
corr ectly .
2. T urn the front tyre v alve to the lo w-
est position and mark the position of the valve on
the ground (a) .
3. Move the bicycle for war d by one tyre r otation,
until the valv e has reached the low est position
again (b) .
4. Measure the distance tra velled. Y ou have det er-
mined the tyre size .
In the display , the base setting is shown for the tyre
size “2155” (in mm). T he thousand figure can only be
set from 1 t o 2. By pressing the MODE k ey , the thou-
sand figure flashes . By pressing the MODE k ey , this
figure is incr eased step-by-step b y a value of one.
The selection is confirmed by pr essing the SET key .
The subsequent numbers ar e set accordingly . The
one, ten and hundr ed figures c an be set to a number
between 0 and 9.
9.4 Setting the total distance
The base setting “00000” appears in the
display . The base setting is confirmed b y
pressing the SET k ey . T he ten thousand
figure flashes by pr essing the MODE key .
By continuing t o press the MODE k ey , the
figure can be incr eased step-by-step by a value of
one. The selection is confirmed by pr essing the SET
key . The one , ten, hundr ed, thousand and ten thou-
sand figure can tak e on a value of between 0 - 9.
9.5 Setting the inspec tion int er v al
The base setting “000” appears in the
display . This corr esponds to the distance
in km until the next bicycle inspection.
The hundr ed figure flashes b y pressing
the MODE key . Press the MODE k ey , to
increase the one , ten or hundred figur e step-by-step
by the value of one. The selection is confirmed by
pressing the SET k ey .
In order t o display a due inspection, a spanner is dis-
played when the set kilometr es have been r eached.
9.6 Setting the weight
“KG ” (kilogram) flashes in the display .
Switch t o “LB” (pounds) by pressing the
MODE key . Confirm with the SET k ey .
After this , the base setting “065” appears
in the display . The hundr ed figure flashes
first. Y ou increase this value with the MODE k ey and
confirm with the SET key . Pr oceed in the same way
for the one and ten figur e.
9.7 Display of CO²-K G emission
reduction
This function is for the calculation of the
CO₂ emission r eduction. This c alculates
how much CO₂ w ould had been pro-
duced, if the distanc e has been travelled
with a car , instead of with a bicycle. Find
the emission value in g/km in the technical docu-
mentation for y our car . Or use the base setting “160”
(g/km). The hundred figur e flashes by pressing the
MODE key . Press the MODE k ey , to increase the one,
ten or hundr ed figure step-by-st ep by the value of
one. The selection is confirmed by pr essing the SET
k ey.
9.8 Setting the 12 / 24 hour display
“24” flashes in the dipslay (24 hour time
format). Swit ch to “12” by pressing the
MODE key . Confirm with the SET k ey .
9.9 Setting the clock
The hours flash in the display . Con tinue
pressing the MODE k ey until the corr ect
number is displayed . Confirm with the
SET key and ther eby automatic ally reach
the minutes display . Proc eed in the same
way for this . Y ou can reach P oint 9.8 again by press-
ing and holding the SET key for 3 seconds . Pr oceed as
already described . Afterwards , you can set the time
and the backgr ound lighting again.
9.10 Setting the background
lighting
“ON” flashes in the display . Press the MODE key t o
switch between “ON” and “OFF” . If you switch off the
backgr ound lighting , you will r each the main func-
tion display .
After c onfirming the backgr ound lighting , specify
the time period (star t and end time) during which
this function should be switched on. The hours flash
in the display . Continue pr essing the MODE key un til
the corr ect number is displayed. C onfirm with the
SET key (ther eby automatic ally switching to the
minutes display). Pr oceed in the same way for this.
The back ground ligh ting will switch on for appro x. 3
seconds at a time , as soon as the MODE or SET key is
pressed within the set time period .
10. Checking the bicycle computer
Use the SET or MODE key t o activate the bicycle com-
puter . If you now r otate the fr ont wheel of the bicy-
cle, the speed will be measur ed. If no speed is dis-
played , check and repea t the assembly , if necessar y .
11. Restar t
If you would lik e to r eset the settings,
press the SET and MODE k ey at the same
time for appro x. 4 seconds. A fterwards,
wait for appr ox. 3 seconds until the lan-
guage setting “DEUT . ” flashes. After r e-
star ting/r esetting , the bicycle computer will be in
the base setting and all settings must be enter ed
again.
12. Automa tic display switch-off
After appr ox. one minut e of standstill, the bicycle
computer aut omatically switches t o standby mode,
in order t o save ener gy (time will continue t o be
displayed). By pr essing any key or with vigorous
vibration, y ou can reactivat e the bicycle computer .
13. Automa tic star t-stop function
After the first-time activation fr om standby mode, all
functions will show an automatic start-stop function
(ex ception: stopw atch and time). This will start, the
first time the magnet passes the sensor . If the bicycle
stands still, appr ox. 3 seconds will r emain for a new
signal. If ther e is no fur ther signal , the measuremen t
will stop automa tically .
14. Functions
After the bicycle comput er starts up the
speed and time will be displayed . The
speed is constantly upda ted and will
appear in the middle of the display . The measur e-
ment range is 0.1-99.9.
TRIP (daily kilometres)
Automa tic star t at the beginning of the
ride. Maximum measur ement range:
999.99.
RIDE TM (riding time)
The t otal riding time is displayed since
the last restart. Maximum measuremen t
range: 9:59:59.
A V SPEED (average speed)
Maximum measuremen t range: 99.9
km/h
or mp/h
MAXSPD (maximum speed)
The maximum r eached speed is stor ed.
Maximum measuremen t range: 99.9

ODO (total distance)
The t otal kilometres
(miles) ridden are st ored . Maximum
measuremen t range: 99999. Y ou can
reach the base settings again by pr ess-
ing and holding the SET key for 3 seconds . Pr oceed
as explained in P oint 9.1 to 9.6.
TMP°C (T emperature)
The t emperatur e is measured appr ox.
every 5 minutes and updated . Press and
hold the SET key for appr ox. 3 seconds t o
switch to °F (F ahrenheit). A fter appro x. 2
seconds, the r elevant value is converted.
15. EXPERT MODE
Y ou can activate additional functions in
EXPERT MODE. T o do this, press and hold
the MODE key for appr ox. 5 seconds .
Confirm again with MODE. Y ou are now in EXPER T
mode.
Y ou can switch between OFF and ON by pr essing the
MODE key . The selection is confirmed by pr essing the
SET key .
STW (stopwatch) -
Maximum measuremen t range: 9:59:59.
Pr ess the SET key to start the stopwat ch.
A stopwa tch symbol appears on the
left in the display . By pressing the SET
key again, the coun ter is stopped . Press and hold
the SET key for appr ox. 3 seconds , to set the stop-
watch t o 0.
MNTEMP & MXTEMP (minimum &
maximal measured temperatur e)

Y ou can only set to F (F ahrenheit) in the
curren t temperatur e display .
CAL (calorie counter) -
The curr ent calorie consumption (k cal)
is displayed . Maximum measuremen t
range: 999.9. Y ou can reach P oint 9.6
by pressing and holding the SET k ey
pressed for 3 sec onds. Y ou can set the weight again
here , if needed. The calorie display is pur ely for mo-
tivation.
KCAL (total calorie counter)
The t otal calorie consumption (kc al) is
displayed sinc e the last restart. Maxi-
mum measuremen t range: 99999.
F A T (fat burned) -
The accumula ted burned fat is displa yed
in grams. Maximum measur ement
range: 999.9.
SPD .CO total speed c omparison-
Calculat es the differenc e between the
curren t speed and average speed in
one-second intervals. If you ar e riding
slower than the av erage, a “-” symbol appears AND
the arrow under the bar of the speed t endency points
downwar ds. If y ou are riding faster than the a verage ,
the arrow poin ts upwar ds. The “-” arro w disappears.
CO²-K G emission reduction
By pressing and holding the SET k ey for 3
seconds, y ou will reach the base setting
at P oint 9.7 to change the initial v alue.
SCAN -
In this mode, the TRIP , RIDE TM and A V
SPEED functions are automatic ally dis-
played c onsecutively at 2-sec ond inter-
vals. Y ou can r each the next func tion by
pressing the MODE k ey .
Low ba ttery indic a tor: Low Ba ttery symbol
appears at the top righ t of the display , if the
voltage of the button c ell falls below 2.7 V (initial
value 3 V).
Speed tendency
Constan t display of the speed developmen t. A bar
symbol appears on the left in the display
When acc elerating , the number of bars increases
(maximum of 5) and when reducing speed , the
number of bars decline (minimum of 1).
Reset data (TRIP , RIDE TM, A V
SPEED , MAX-KMH, K CAL, FETT V) -
Con tinue pressing the MODE k ey until
the appropria te function is displayed.
Pr ess and hold the SET key for appr ox. 3 seconds t o
reset all of the v alues (exc ept for temperatur e and
time).
16. Cleaning and care
CAUTION!
DANGER OF SHORTCIRCUITING ! A
shor t-circuit can be c aused by moisture penetr ating
the housing.
NOTE !
- Never immerse the bicycle computer in liquid .
- Make sure tha t no liquid enters int o the housing .
RISK OF D AMAGE! Improper clean-
ing can cause the bic ycle comput er
to become damaged .
- Do not use aggressive cleaning agen ts, brushes
with metal or nylon bristles, or sharp or metallic
cleaning items, such as kniv es, har d spatulas, et c.
These can damage the surfaces.
- Never put the bicycle computer in the dishw asher .
This w ould destroy it .
W ipe the bicycle computer off with a lint-fr ee, dr y
cloth.
17. Storage
All parts must be completely dr y befor e storage .
- Always stor e the bic ycle comput er in a dry place.
- Protect the bicycle comput er from dir ect sunlight.
- Stor e the bicycle computer in a place tha t is inacces-
sible for children, secur ely locked and a t a storage
temperatur e of bet ween -10° C and +50° C.
18. F ault description
NOTE !
Prior to each ride , check the attachment of the bicy-
cle computer , sensor and magnet.
- No speed display :
Check the alignment of the sensor and the mag-
net.
Check the distance between the magnet and
the sensor (max. 2 mm) and the distance and
angle between the bicycle computer and sensor
(90°/ max. 60 cm).
Is the comput er within the transmissionrange of
the sensor , Fig . (j).
Check the button cell of the bicycle c omputer
and the sensor .
Replac e the button cell .
- Incorrect speed measurement:
C heck the setting of the tyre size .
C heck kilometre/mile setting .
Check the alignment of the sensor and the mag-
net.
- Black display :
Check whether the display has become t oo hot.
Let it c ool down.
- Display shows irregular numbers:
Remove and r einser t the button c ell. P ay at-
tention to the c orrect polarity .
- W eak or no display:
Check positioning of the button cell.
Replace the button cell.

Old devices should not be disposed of with
household waste!
If the bicycle computer can no longer be
used, every consumer is legally obligat ed
to dispose of old devices separa tely fr om
household waste , e.g . with a collection
centr e of his municipality/district. This will ensure
that old devices ar e recycled pr operly and negativ e
implications ar e avoided for the en vironment . That is
why electrical devices ar e marked with the adjacen t
symbol.
Disposal of button cells
Button cells and r echargeable ba tteries are
not permitted to be disposed of with
household waste . They contain harmful
heavy metals. Marking: Pb (= lead), Hg
(= mercury), Cd (= cadmium). Y ou are legall y obli-
gated t o return used button c ells and rechar geable
batteries . After use , you can either r eturn the button
cells to our poin t of sale or in the direct vicinity (e.g .
with a retailer or in municipal c ollection centres) fr ee
of charge . Button cells and r echargeable batt eries are
marked with a cr ossed-out waste bin.
