new child seat.
This child seat is designed to provide maximum
comfort and safety for your child. To guarantee
the best possible protection, it is essential that it
is used correctly. Research shows that many
child seats are not fitted and used correctly. This
reduces their effectiveness in the event of an
accident. Read the instructions carefully
before using the child seat, follow them to
the letter and keep them for future reference.
A convenient place to store the instruction
manual is provided in the compartment located
on the back of the child seat.
The use of the child seat enormously reduces
the risk of injury in the event of an accident. The
majority of accidents occur in urban areas:
always use the child seat, even for short
journeys. Never travel with children in your
arms: in the event of an accident, it could be
impossible to hold onto them.

Notice
1 - This is a “Universal” child restraint. It is
approved to Regulation No. 44,
amendments series 04, for general use in
vehicles and it will fit most, but not all, car
seats.
2 - Perfect compatibility is easier to achieve if
the vehicle manufacturer has declared in the
vehicle handbook that the vehicle is capable
of taking a “Universal” child restraint for the
age group in question.
3 - This child restraint has been classified as
“Universal” under more stringent conditions
than those applied to earlier designs that do
not carry this notice.
4 - This child restraint is only suitable for use in
vehicles fitted with 3 point static/retractor
safety belts approved to UNECE Regulation
No. 16 or other equivalent standards.
5 - If in doubt, consult either the child restraint
manufacturer or the retailer.
Important information
For safety
Strictly follow the instructions for use.
Do not tamper with or modify the child seat in
any way.
Warning: incorrect fitting or use of the child seat
may seriously jeopardise the safety of the child.
Position the child seat so that it cannot be
damaged by closing the car door, adjusting the
seats or similar operations.
Do not leave the child unattended in the child
seat.
Do not leave the child seat in the car in the sun:
plastic parts of the child seat may become very
hot.
Make sure that bags or other objects are
fastened down in the car. The driver and all
passengers must wear safety belts.
Secure the child seat to the car seat with the car
safety belt even when there is no child present
in it.
Periodically check the condition of the child
seat. Replace the seat if it shows signs of
breakage or wear and tear.
Do not use the child seat if any parts are broken
or missing.
Only use original spare parts.
In the event of an accident
All passengers must know how to take the child
out of the seat.
The child seat must be replaced after an
accident: it may have suffered damage that is
not visible by means of an external inspection.
Comfort
Do not pull the harness too tightly across the
child's body.
When the child seat is used on the back seat of
the car, make sure there is enough room for the
child's feet. If necessary, move the front seat
forwards slightly.
Take frequent breaks on long journeys so the
child has a chance to move about freely.
