You should always keep a minimum distance of 20 cm between the
mobile phone and the pacemaker when the phone is turned on.
You should not keep the phone in the breast pocket.
When using a mobile phone, you should hold it to the ear that is
farthest away from your pacemaker to reduce the risk of possible
interferences.
If you have a reason to suspect that an interference has occurred,
turn off your phone immediately.
Hearing aids?
Some digital mobile phones may cause interferences with some
hearing aids. Should that be the case, please contact the service
provider.
Other medical equipment:
Operation of a radio, including a mobile phone, may interfere with the
function of insufficiently shielded medical equipment in certain cases.
