The timer button
o If you press the timer button whilst the cooker hood is in
operation, then it will countdown for 15 minutes.
o During the countdown the number on the LCD display will flash.
o It is possible to adjust the speed that the cooker hood is
operating at whilst it is on a countdown.
o When the countdown has finished the cooker hood will switch
off.
o If you have the lights switched on, then these will also go out
when the countdown period finishes.
o If you press the timer button again during the countdown, then
the cooker hood will return to normal operation.
The light bulbs
o The light bulbs can be switched on, whether the cooker hood is
switched on or off.
o To turn the light bulbs on, press the light bulbs ON/OFF button
once.
o After you have switched the cooker hood off using the ON/OFF
button, the light bulbs will remain on. You should turn them off
using the light bulbs ON/OFF button.
Grease filter maintenance reminder
o After approximately 30 hours of operation, an “A” will flash on
the LED display when you switch the cooker hood on.
o You should follow the “Removing and cleaning the grease filters”
section on page 14.
o Once the grease filters have been cleaned, then without the
hood being switched on, you should press and hold the decrease
speed button for longer than five seconds.
o The letter “A” will appear on the LED display, after five seconds it
will disappear, you have then reset the maintenance reminder.
o IMPORTANT: The grease filter should be cleaned at the time
intervals suggested on page 13. You should not wait until the
maintenance alarm activates before cleaning the grease filter.
