CUTTING HAIR AROUND
THE SIDEBURNS, EARS AND
NECKLINE
• Ensure that the trimmer for
nishing is in the OFF position.
• Place the 5-position comb guide
over the clipper blades (g. 8)
and press down. It will be in
position 1 for the shortest length
of 3mm. The 5 possible lengths
are 3mm (pos. 1), 6mm (pos. 2),
9.5mm (pos. 3), 13mm (pos. 4)
and 16mm (pos. 5). To adjust the
cutting length, push the guide
upward to the desired position,
lining it up with the small arrow
on the unit (g. 9).
• Hold the clipper with the blades
facing up and hold the clipper
head at against your skin.
• Move the trimmer slowly and
smoothly through your hair,
going against the hair growth
and not using too much
pressure.
• The precision trimmer may also
be used without comb guide to
cut all undesirable hair outside
the desired outlines and in this
way results in a clean and well-
groomed cut.
MAINTAINING THE PRECISION
TRIMMER
Remove the comb guide after
each use.
Cleaning the trimmer blades
regularly will maintain optimum
operation of the trimmer.
Carefully brush the blades using
the cleaning brush to remove
hair.
Carefully apply a few drops of
BaByliss oil onto the blades.
The BaByliss oil is specically
formulated for the trimmer, it will
not evaporate nor will it slow the
blades.
